미용분야 여성 교육자의 이미지 선호도 및 유형이 전공만족도와 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Image Preference and Types of Beauty Trainers on Their Satisfaction with a Major and Stress from a Major)

  • This study evaluated the effect of image type of the beauty trainer on satisfaction and stress regarding the major. The data were analyzed by spss 18.0. Frequency analysis, causal analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, one-way variance analysis, and multiple regression analysis were carried out, and the result is as following. First, as the result of analysis the image of beauty trainer, we defined inner, outer, and social image. Second, the difference between images of beauty trainers revealed that people with high interest in the major ranked the inner image of beauty trainer the highest. Respondent with the lowest and the higher class satisfaction also deemed inner image important. The same was for respondents with beauty awareness. For outer image, people with the lowest class satisfaction ranked outer image the highest. And people with beauty awareness recognized beauty trainer's outer image more important. Respondents who said the major have bleak future deemed outer image even important. While the social image was recognized the highest by respondents with lowest class satisfaction. Third, as we analyzed the correlation between the image type of beauty trainer and major stress/satisfaction, the higher the satisfaction for the trainer's outer and social image gave higher class satisfaction. And less stress about the major resulted in higher major satisfaction. Fourth, we evaluated the effect of trainer's image on the class satisfaction and stress. Fifth, the lower the awareness of inner image and the higher awareness of social image resulted in higher major stress. Lower inner image gave high major satisfaction, while high social image resulted in high major stress.

현대 한국미인 이미지와 미를 가꾸면서 얻게 되는 보상에 대한 연구 (The Study on the Image of the Korean Beauty and the Rewards to Be Gained by Trying to Be a Beauty)

  • This study is to understand the image of the Korean beauty and rewards to be gained by trying to be a beautiful person and to study differences according to demographic characteristics. It was studied with the purpose of industrializing beauty image and selling it to foreign countries. The survey questionnaire was distributed to Seoul and Kyeongkido. Respondents totaled 301. Collected data were analyzed with frequency analysis, factor analysis, $X^2$-test, and regression. Results are ; (1) The external image of Korean beauty emphasizes round face, white skin, big eyes, double eyelids, round head shape, early twenties, tall, low body weight, thin waist, long neck, long legs, and thin fingers. (2) The inner image of the Korean beauty emphasizes mature personality, social economic ability, but not housework, and cultural artistic ability. (3) Rewards gained by trying to be a beauty are psychological, actual, and social ones. (4) External face and body image of the beauty are different by demographic characteristics (sex, age, marital status, final education, monthly average income, religion). (5) The inner image of the beauty is different by age, final education, and monthly average income. (6) Rewards gained by trying to be a beauty are different by sex, age, final education, and monthly average income.

인물의 매력에 관련된 아름다움의 차원 (The Beauty Dimensions Related to Human Attractiveness)

  • 대부분의 경영분석가들은 뷰티산업이 미래의 주요산업의 하나가 될 것이라고 예견하고 있다. 뷰티산업은 뷰티에 관련된 서비스와 상품을 포함하고 있는데, 이 시장에서의 경쟁은 더욱 치열해지고 있다. 뷰티 서비스와 뷰티 상품을 마케팅하기 위해서는 뷰티가 측정될 수 있어야 하지만, 실제적으로 뷰티를 측정할 수 있는 수단은 사실상 개발되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 Langmeyer and Shank(1994)의 연구를 바탕으로 인물의 매력을 단일의 차원이 아닌 다차원으로 규명하고자 하였다. 총 258명의 대학생 응답자를 대상으로 인물의 매력에 관련된 뷰티의 차원에 관련된 설문을 실시했고, 이를 바탕으로 인물의 매력에 관련된 뷰티의 차원을 도출하고, 뷰티 측정에 대한 관리적 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 수행된 정량적 분석에 기초하여 최종적으로 인물 매력에 관련된 4가지 뷰티 차원을 도출하였는데, 2개 차원은 인물의 내면의 아름다움에 관련된 것(역동적 성격, 배려)이었고, 나머지 2개 차원은 인물의 외면의 아름다움에 관련된 것(형상, 스타일)이었다. 또한 본 연구에서는 추가적으로 응답자 특성에 따라 아름다움 인식에 차이가 있는지 분석하였다. 응답자 특성으로는 성별, 외적 아름다움의 인식 차이, 자신의 외모 만족도가 고려되었다. 분석결과는 자신의 외모 만족도와 아름다움의 인식 가치가 본 연구에서 도출된 아름다움 차원에 있어서 아름다움 인식에 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여주고 있다: 1)자신의 외모 만족도가 높은 경우 전반적으로 외모차원과 심성차원의 아름다움을 모두 높게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다, 2)아름다움의 인식 가치가 높은 경우 외면의 아름다움 차원을 내면의 아름다움 차원보다 상대적으로 더 긍정적으로 평가하는 것으로 나타났다.

이너뷰티 제품 개발을 중심으로 국내산 대나무 줄기의 생물공학적 활용방안 (Application of Domestic Bamboo Stems Mainly for Inner Beauty Product Development: A Review)

  • Bamboo is a plant belonging to the Gramineae family, and can be used as valuable bioresources for many industrial applications. Bamboo has some useful properties and having a lot of beneficial uses such as a bamboo ware, agriculture material, building construction material, pulpwood, etc. Bamboo stem has a large amount of active ingredients that those of bamboo leaves. The stem of bamboo can be processed into various biomaterials including cellulose and lignin, and sometimes uses as foods, cosmetics and medicines using stem extracts with polyphenol compounds. For cosmetic applications of bamboo stems, especially, the constituents of bamboo stem are suitable for inner beauty (cosmetic food) products showing antioxidant and UV-protecting activities. This review summaries the recent literature data and discusses the versatile uses of bamboo stem and its extracts mainly for cosmetic application.

21세기의 이상적 여성미와 패션디자인의 조형적 특성 (21st century Female's Ideal Beauty & Formative Characteristics of Fashion Design)

  • Based on results using factor analysis, Women's definition of "Ideal beauty" can be materialize into four key factors, "Confident beauty", "Graceful beauty", "Lively beauty", and "Genuine beauty". Factor analysis was conducted to materialize Women's definition of "Ideal beauty"and the above four factors were representative of 56.31% of total variance. "Ideal beauty" defined by age category was also found significant difference, indicating existence of different "Ideal beauty "definition for age groups. Itemized age category's "Ideal beauty" definitions are as follows, 18-22 years, bright and lively, 23-27 years, cute and confident, 28-32 years, sensible and confident 33-37 years, hard-working, 38-42 years, ability and composure, 43-47 years, casual and graceful, 48-52 years, refined and noble, 53 years and above, healthy and proper as "Ideal beauty" definitions. The defined "ideal beauty" was steadily shifted with age group. Women 38 years and younger were defined external attributes to "Ideal beauty", as women 38 years and older were defined inner attributes to "Ideal beauty". Women's definition of "Ideal beauty" can materialize into four key factors, "Confident beauty", "Graceful beauty", "Lively beauty", and "Genuine beauty".

미학으로 본 망진과 동서양의 관상학 (The Inspection and Physiognomy on the Viewpoint in Aesthetic)

  • The humans has tried to investigate the fundamental relationship of all phenomena through the eyes. In oriental medicine, inspection is a one way of diagnosing by observing outer shape of patients. Physiognomy is the study which infers characteristics, constitutions, predestinations of one man from his appearance. In other words, the study is about how inner spirit is expressed in the appearance and how we could understand the inner side from appearance. According to it, shapes, proportions and balances of human appearance also reflect the unrecognized characteristics of human. Esthetical beauty is product of seeing, it is considered with judgment of human just like beauty or ugliness, right or wrong, good and bad. In the east, they consider that the beauty is balance of nature, and that balance and harmony is important at human's face. For such a reason, the highest beauty has ideal as agreement ethical and aesthetic level through the harmony of ethical and physical beauty. And Physiognomy and inspection are the same as it.

  • The purpose of this study is to have a new understanding of the freewheeling beauty inhering in the Korean western costumes, traditionally the freewheeling beauty has been the root of Korean beauty expressed in the Korean feeling. First, the theoritical inquiry for this study was processed to understand formativeness of the Korean popular arts, folk painting, pottery, pansori(dramatic song), masked dance. The results of the theoritical analysis were as follows; the korean beauty inherited in the Korean popular arts, was represented plastic words as good-humor, unsophisticated, homely, plainness, simplicity, artless, unartificial, crudely etc, the freewheeling beauty implied the beauty of good-humor, the beauty of naivety. In conclusion, the creative Korean beauty reflected in the western costumes by Korean designers was derived from freewheeling characteristics of Korean feeling. After this study, I came to conclusion that it‘s very important to recover, reperceive, revaluate the inner meanings inherited Korean western costumes.

어휘분석을 통한 이상적인 여성미 연구 (A Study on Female's Ideal Beauty Based on Word Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine and fully understand the transformation of female's ideal beauty based on word analysis. In order to research the understanding of female's ideal beauty, a random research was done on 438 women, ranging from the ages 10's through 60's. From the resulting poll, a frequency analysis was performed to further analyse the meaning of ideal beauty to each sector of the age group. To the teenage's beauty awareness was defined by the word "individuality", the 20's was "confident", the 30's was "elegant", the 40's was "earnestness", the 50's was "comfortable" and the 60's was "healthy". The research proved that the younger the age group, the more exterior beauty was considered, as opposed to the older generation who found inner beauty to be of most importance.

  • Meaning of expressive words on the beauty of clothing is to comprehend inclusively with subjectivity and sensitivity. Suppose that meaning of the words was analysed, the study would be found type structural through a type of meaning component and inner reciprocity of elements. Category in the Beauty of Clothing was to consider various languages on beauty of clothing as the concept of the type. The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept structure of Categories in the Beauty of Clothing. In this paper 'Chic' and 'Dandism' were analyzed. As the result of the study, it is constructed at three different dimensions. They were the Beauty of phenomenone such as surface level, the Beauty of essence such as element level, and the Beauty of process that existed between the surface level and the element level. In addition, the idea words of each dimension were as follows; The Beauty of phenomenone was expressed 'refinement', 'wisdom' and 'originality'. The Beauty of essence was included 'subtlely', 'grace', and 'sence/reason'. The Beauty of process was included the method of 'harmony' and 'proficiency'.

Jean Paul Gaultier 작품에 나타난 외적 해체경향 (The External Deconstruction Trend Expressed in the Works of Jean Paul Gaultier)

  • The analysis and examination of this study are focussed on the external deconstruction trend expressed in the works of Jean Paul Gaultier. The external deconstruction is a way of expression faithful to the literal meaning of 'deconstruction' and is the applied case of exposure, destruction, poverty, and decomposition as they are. The method and scope of this study are from 1980's to present, and the followings are the results of this examination focussed on the various literature of philosophy, aesthetics and literary criticism, and the domestic and foreign fashion journals. The exposure phenomena through the deconstruction expressed repeatedly in the works of Gaultier deconstructed the fixed idea of 'the inner wear should be worn inside the outer wear' and at the same time denied the dichotomical interpretation of the exposure and suppression, the traditional beauty and decadent beauty, the chastity and unchastity, the asceticism and sexuality, and obscured the notion of the inner wear and outer wear. The destructive deconstruction expressed in the works of Jean Paul Gaultier introduced the elements such as hippy, punk, and kitsch, slashed before making dresses, crumpled unseemly like wastepaper, or made dresses with textures like paper scraps, and through destroying textures, yielded shock effects and tension. Poverty, through borrowing from the outwardly poor-looking elements of design, i.e. the patch work, decolor, dye, fading, fringing, incompletion, and handmadeness, liberated dresses and their ornaments from the outside. The traditional dresses were dresses having certain forms with formative beauty, but Gaultier disassembled dresses and raised questions about the logic of dresses themselves.
