Developed social infrastructures such as transportations, communication systems have given a lot more opportunities to people to participate in convention recently. this tendency is not only for the Government offices or major companies but also for civic activities of many different fields in order to find the solutions and convoke the cooperations of their facing problems. Both central Government and provincial offices trying to channel the convention industry and local development as well. In this study, we have reviewed that the city of Daejeon had tried to it's best to vitalize the regional economy. especially, Daejeon has Daedeok research complex which gives tremendous motive to establish convention industry which is also one of the main projects of Daejeon future developing plans. moreover I have suggested few matters needed to be solved

The Purpose of this Article is to analyze the special settlement and electronic settlement system in the international trade. First, Factoring is a fast, easy and flexible way to improve a company's cash flow and generate working capital for the company. Factoring can be short-term or part of an ongoing financing program. New companies can benefit as well, since there is no requirement for a long-term credit history. Second, Forfaiting is a method of trade financing that allows exporters to obtain cash and be free of all risks by selling their medium term receivables on a 'without recourse' basis. Forfaiting can be an alternative to export credit or insurance cover, especially for those transactions in which the export credit agency is not open to a particular country and/or bank. Third, The Bolero System is jointly financed by SWIFT(Society for World International Financial Telecommunications) which handles most of the electronic funds transfer for banks, and the Through Transport Mutual Assurance Association(the TT Club), a mutual insurance association most of whose members are drawn from the Multimodal transport industry or transport intermediaries. Fourth, TradeCard is a payment and settlement system that is an alternative to letters of crdeit. That is, TradeCard is a business-to-business e-commerce infrastructure that enables buyers and sellers to conduct and settle international trade transactions securely over the Internet.

Industrial accidents have been consistently increased in terms of medical costs, lost work days, and incidence rates every year in Korea. Since the infrastructure of the industry changed shifts rapidly from 1980s in the developing countries such as South Korea, the nature and magnitude of the industrial accidents have also undergone a major shift. The situation is especially severe in small-to-medium sized industry(SMI). This article reports the development of a systematic evaluation system of risk factors specifically for the SMIs. The new approach introduced by this article is geared to the systematic identification and evaluation of the injuries from power press machines using the Analytic Hierarchy Process with the key evaluation data generated and evaluated by the employees on site. A total of 21 companies was studied and surveyed using the hierarchical structures of the cause-effect relationship of the mechanical injuries and their countermeasures. For the relative weighting of each risk factor, separate questionnaire survey was conducted for the selected workers from each company who had worked for more than 10 years in press work. Most participants (48 out of 62) replied that human attributes were the most significant factors for mechanical injuries fellowed by administration, machine, and work environment factors. The result also showed that the self-motivated risk assessment and safety enhancement activities would be an effective and efficient way of managing the risk factors in the SMIs.

Nowadays data-based decision making is emerging as the center of the business environment paradigm, but many companies do not have data-driven decision-making systems. It has also been studied that using an expert's intuition in decision making can be more efficient in terms of speed and cost, compared to analytical decision making. The goal of this study is to analyze customer churn factors using a group of experts within a financial company from the viewpoint of decision-making efficiency. We applied a debit card 'A', product of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea. The churn factors of all the financial expert groups were examined. Also. the difference in each group (management support, card recruitment, customer service group) was analyzed. We expect that this study will be helpful in the practical aspects of managers whose environments is lack data-oriented infrastructure and culture.

Recently, as a countermeasure for cyber breach attacks and confidential leak incidents on PC hard disk memory storage data of the metaverse industry, it is required when reviewing and developing a remote-based regular/real-time monitoring and analysis security system. At present, there are many companies that can produce modular housing. However, if the housing projects are conducted without design standards and principles, each company will supply housing according to its own design standards, resulting in a loss of opportunity to promote standardization at a national level. Korea's modular construction technology is still in its infancy, and there is a lack of MC design applications due to the limited construction market. In recent years, however, related R&D has been carried out by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in order to activate modular construction. As a result, test-beds for public rental housing are currently being built, and the public rental housing applied with the modular construction method is expected to spread in the near future. In this regard, this study seeks to promote more economical and efficient production and supply of modular housing. To this end, it investigates the current status of modular construction, analyzes the problems and proposes a serious of MC design standards as part of the design standardization and open system for modular housing industry to solve the problems.

As global competition is intensifying, companies are entering not only developed markets but also emerging and developing countries. In emerging and developing countries, business-to-governmental relations are an essential factor influencing the firm performance. The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of corporate political activities on firm performance. Using the BEEPS data developed by the EBRD and the World Bank, the effect of various bribery activities regarded as corporate political activities on the firm performance was examined. Also, the moderating effect of competition type on the firm performance was proved. As the results, the bribery contribution, which is a corporate political activity, has a positive effect on the firm performance. Specifically, when infrastructure bribery occurred, costs and sales were higher, and when permission bribery was granted, profits, costs, and sales were higher. In addition, the effect of bribery as a corporate political activity on firm performance is moderated by competition type. These findings have academic and practical implications for empirical analyzing of SMEs' firm performance, guidelines suggestion for entry into the other countries, generalization possibility of using credible data, developing and designing export support systems and programs. Finally, limitations of the research and future research directions were discussed.

With wireless network infrastructure, the number of smart-phone users is remarkably increasing in the world and the amounts of damage due to the smart-phone malwares are also raised. Many security solutions for wireless network have come into the market but these solutions are for companies or large enterprises, therefore, the public users of smart-phone don't feel easy to select as their solutions and it is difficult to detect unknown malwares. In this paper, we propose the mobile security diagnostic system for public smart-phone users, which provides functions like smart-phone system check, comparison with blacklist of applications and collecting malwares.

Design/methodology/approach The New 1794 Project is a 2019 demonstration project requested by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for "Suwon Smart City Challenge Project: Haenggung-dong, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si," developed by the Dankook University SW Design Convergence Center, and the main project from 2020 to 2022. The smart city project strategy should be implemented based on partnerships with multiple stakeholders, and the bottom-up approach and the traditional top-down must be able to coexist. Therefore, the smart city solution applied a horizontal governance method. Findings In this study, the definition of the New 1794 Project, which is the key to defining smart cities in relation to all analyzed aspects, was developed.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the development process and the effectiveness of the EISS (epidemiological investigation support system), which prevents the spread of infectious diseases like a novel corona virus disease, COVID-19. Design/methodology/approach This study identified the existing epidemiological support system for MERS through prior research and studied the case of the development of a newly developed epidemiological support system based on cloud computing infrastructure for COVID-19 through inter-ministerial collaboration in 2020. Findings The outbreak of COVID-19 drove the Korean Government began the development of the EISS with private companies. This system played a significant role in flattening the spread of infection during several waves in which the number of confirmed cases increased rapidly in Korea, However, we need to be careful in handling confirmed patients' private data affecting their privacy.
