본 연구는 국내 대학 및 소속을 두고 있는 한국 IS 연구자의 연구실적을 측정하였다. 본 연구자들은 선행연구에 기반해 MIS Quarterly(MISQ), Information Systems Research(ISR), Journal of Management Information Systems(JMlS), Journal of the Association for Information Systems(JAIS), European Journal of Information Systems(EJIS), Information Systems Journal(ISJ), Decision Support Systems(DSS), Communications of the Association for Information Systems(CAIS), Information and Management(I&M), Journal of Strategy Information Systems(JSlS), Journal of Information Technology(JIT) 11 개 선도 저널을 선정하였고, 2007년부터 2009년까지 출판된 한국 IS 연구자의 논문을 싸이언토메트릭 기법을 통해 측정하였다. 본 연구결과는 한국 IS 연구자의 우수한 연구실적에 대한 정보를 제공함으로써 우수 연구자의 파악 및 채용 정보 획득에 도움을 줄 것이고, 더불어 신입생 유치에 있어 학교와 학과의 우수성을 홍보하는데 자료를 제공해 줄 것이다. 본 연구는 한국 IS 연구자의 연구실적 측정에 대한 연구가 드믄 실정에서 연구의 독창성이 존재하며, 한국 IS 연구자의 논문 출판 추세를 이해하는데 도움을 제공할 것이다.

According to the development of new Information Technologies, firms consistently invest a significant amount of money in IT activities, such as establishing internal and external information systems. However, several anti-Information activities-such as hacking, leakage of information and system destruction-are also rapidly increasing, thus many firms are exposed to direct and indirect threats. Therefore, firms try to establish information security systems and manage these systems more effectively via an enterprise perspective. However, stakeholders or some managers have negative opinions about information security systems. Therefore, in this research, we study the relationship between multibusiness firms' performance and information security systems. Information security indicates physical and logical correspondence of information system department against threats and disaster. Studies on information security systems suggested frameworks such as IT Governance Cube and COBIT Framework to identify information security systems. Thus, this study define that information security systems is a controlled system on enterprise IT process and resource on IT Governance perspective rather than independent domain of IT. Thus, Information Security Systems should be understood as a subordinate concept of IT and business processes. In addition, this study incorporates information capability to information security system literature to show the positive relationship between Information Security Systems and Corporate Performance. The concept of information capability suggested that an interaction of human, information, technical and an effect on corporate performance using three types of capability (IT Practice, Information Management Practice, Information Behaviors and Values). Information capability is about firms' capability to manage IT infrastructure and information as well as individual employees who use IT infrastructure and information. Thus, this study uses information capability as a mediating variable for the relationship between information security systems and firms' performance. To investigate the relationship between Information Security Systems and multibusiness firms' performance, this study extends the IT relatedness concept into Information Security Systems. IT relatedness provides understanding of how corporations cope with conflicts between headquarters and business units to create a synergy effect and achieve high performance using IT resources. Based on the previous literature, this study develops the IT Security Relatedness model. IT Security Relatedness is our main independent variable, while Information Capability and Information Security Performance are mediating variables. To control for the common method bias, we collect each multibusiness firm's financial performance and use it as our dependent variable. We find that Information Security Systems influence Information Capability and Information Security Performance positively, and these two variables consequently influence Corporate Performance positively. In addition, this result indirectly shows that corporations under a multibusiness environment can obtain synergy effects using the integrated Information Security Systems. This positive impact of Information Security Systems on multibusiness firms' performance has an important implication to various stakeholders. Therefore, multibusiness firms need to establish Information Security Systems to achieve better financial performance.

The rapid pace of adoption of mobile handsets has created new mobile financial services. The success of mobile financial information systems will depend on consumer self-efficacy and a sound business model. Self-efficacy has been described as the belief that one is capable of performing in a certain manner to attain certain goals. This is directly related to consumer behavior, but it also affects consumer behaviors indirectly through its impact on goals. And self-efficacy influences the challenges that people take on as well as how high they set their goals. The objective of the study to investigates the effect of self-efficacy on mobile financial information systems. In order to do that, self-efficacy, mobile financial information systems reliability, mobile financial information systems use intensity are conceptualized by survey questionnaire. Our empirical analysis based on 462 survey data shows that self-efficacy effects on mobile financial information systems quality. In addition we also found that self-efficacy effects on mobile financial systems reliability and usage intention. And we found that mobile financial information systems reliability effects on mobile financial systems use intention. And we also found that mobile financial information systems usage intention effects mobile financial systems quality.

The two main purposes of this paper are to 1) investigate critical components of university information systems for information resources management, 2) develop a comprehensive framework model of university information systems for e-Business Era. Through a literature review and by employing group decision making techniques with managers of K University, critical components for developing university information systems were identified. The critical components of university information systems are 1) academic affaires. 2) general administration. (3) research administration. (4) information services. (5) management support, (6) cyber education. (7) knowledge management, (8) e-library. (9) mobile service. and (10) IT infrastructures. In the second stage. by employing IT experts in K University and other institutes. a comprehensive framework of university information systems for e-Business era was developed. The comprehensive framework shows that major components for university information resources management are (1) information infrastructure. (2) common operating environments. (3) applications/information services. The results of this study expect to help managers. who are in charge of university information systems. plan to develop information systems based on the framework proposed in this paper.

Much has been written on Information Systems Planning in the for-profit organisations, but little is known about it in the Not-for-Profit sector, particularly in the Australian context. This paper has attempted to conceptualise the problem of Information Systems planning in the Not-for-Profit organisations. It provides insight into Information Systems Planning practices in Not-for-Profit-Organisations and the problems of current Information Systems Planning practices in Not-for-Profit-Organisations. The contribution of this paper is two folds, theoretically and for practitioners. Theoretically, it has provided a model that enables people to understand why or why not Not-for-Profit-Organisations do or do not conduct Information Systems Planning. Regarding practitioners, the factors identified in this study would help planners, managers and executives to understand the key areas and plan accordingly and for donors they would be able to understand where are their contributions needed the most and be able to follow up and ensure that their donations/contributions are utilised in the right areas hence increase Not-for-Profit-Organisations accountability with regards to planning for Information Systems.

Under competitive situation , many small manufacturing companies know that building effective information systems is the best way to get a competition. Therefore . lots of these companies are getting under way of building information systems. But they are having trouble building information systems because of many diffifcult factors like money technologies, education. Comparing to large firms , small manufacturing compaines are short of money and technology to get informatin systems. Considering of the difficulties of small manufacturing companies, organization supporting these companies will be able to play an important role to suggest the guideline to success of getting information systems. Many supporting organizations have instituted a scheme in which they can get valuable information relating to building information systems. This paper is focusing on the role of supporting organizations for information systems of small manufacturing companies. This study finds out what the difficulties of these companies trying to build information systems are and suggests the supporting ways of getting effective information systems.

Since information systems are pervasive in the business and non-business areas, the issue of extending researches on information systems to knowledge systems and e-business systems is one of the most profitable topics of researches. We propose a historical, discontinuous changes introducing ambiguity in explaining and interpreting innovative nature of three paradigms of systems: information systems, knowledge systems, and e-business systems. Resorting to the historical perspective in developing ideas into meaningful themes, we proposed a discrete continuity in interpreting changes of paradigms of systems. Discrete continuity may be explained by ambiguously-shared meaningful perspectives applied to different paradigms of systems and interpretive elements of each system. The discrete continuity has been adopted to make ambiguity utilized have instrumental contribution in researches. The engrafted ambiguity in systems design, development, and use could have enduring instrumental value in interpreting the types or variants of systems in each paradigm of systems.

In accomplishing the objectives of the hospital organizations effectively the good results of hospital information systems depends upon the usefulness and forms of informations provided by them under certain conditions. This study is aimed at examining how much hospital information systems are influenced by the characteristics of organizations and information systems. The results are as follows. 1. In the viewpoint of variations of organization characteristics, the support of chief executive group, the participation of users, education and training has good effects on satisfaction rates of users and system utilization rates as evaluation instruments of results of hospital information systems. 2. In the viewpoint of information system characteristics, the nearness of information sources, the scopes and qualities of informations has good effects on satisfaction rates of users and system utilization rates as evaluation instruments of results of hospital information systems. Accordingly interests and supports of chief hospital executives are required in order to heighten the results of hospital information systems, and there must be participations of organization members in their construction and performance. Also there must be training and education of members in the hospital affairs in using them. In such a condition of hospital organizations the good results of hospital information systems will be produced. The above concluded things must be taken into consideration importantly in their introduction and development.

In this paper, artificial intelligence applications in library and information science are reviewed. Especially, natural language processing and expert systems are represented as the two major application areas. In natural language processing, natural language interface systems and .question-answering systems are discussed in detail with some specific examples. In the second part of the paper, online search intermidiary systems, reference expert systems, classification and cataloging expert systems are described as possible expert systems to be developed in libraries and information systems. As a conclusion, implications of the artificial intelligence applications for librarians and information scientists are suggested.

Lots of investment projects of new development and redevelopment for information systems have been not taken care of in the field of administration and evaluation, for these information systems projects have unique characteristics such as technology sensitiveness, network effectiveness, embeddedness, and externality. In fact, quantitative and qualitative evaluation of investments in information systems projects are not sufficient. It is critically important to generally evaluate benefits of development or operation cost, urgency, external effects, and so on. In addition, the efficient monitoring and effective analysis of information systems are surely needed for beneficient results of investment in information systems. We propose an economics evaluation model for information systems projects.
