The requirements for the systems are the following things:(1) search of relevant information from various internal and external information systems(2) proving an integrated view of information for workers, and (3) information processing and decision-making are seamlessly integrated fro business workers. We proposed an agent system to fulfill the requirements. We focus on the purchasing job, and developed a prototype system. PIPA(Purchasing Information Process Agent). The PIPA performs not only information processing jobs(information search gathering, display, business form -making)but also decision-making support job (evaluation of supplier candidates, and apply of sourcing policy) for sourcing manager. • In today's information-rich society, the need for information literacy has urgency. Three tasks of information processing are filtering, meaning-matching, meaning-construction that could be strengthened through inquiry-based learning. The cycles of reflection and practice develop the habit of mind, or conscious information processing that allow the learners to acquire higher level of information literacy. An on-line inquiry-based learning environment designed for information literacy may help learners to perform their lifelong learning better with the ability to appreciate, locate, evaluate, and use information effectively.

Capabilities of information technology to overcome the time and space limitations enables efficient storage and processing of a large volume of data shared by many users in geographically dispersed areas. As the users ask for more useful information services, it is necessary to develop information services tp meet the needs of users. Enhancing information services is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information service is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information and telecommunications market as the level of Korean information services industry is still in its infancy. • This study attempts to provide the foundation that KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations can be strong information analysis centers if they fortify their information analysis activities. The following conclusions are resulted from the analysis in the state-of-the-art-report covered in national information flow system, service methods and their publications of the information analysis activities provided by the KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations. First, the KINITI and industrial su n.0, pporting organizations have not be acquiring enough information materials. The services for bibliographic information should guarantee the uses of original documents. Second, the number of organizations providing on-line information services has been increasing, but the provided materials are not sufficiently suited for user's requests. Third, the speedy information provision and efficient information dissemination for the end users in the long distance may be possible through on-line service, but it requires information analysis procedure to select the necessary information in our industrial environment. Forth, the information activities provided by the libraries of industrial su n.0, pporting organizations should be fortified.
