Maximum of MCR or Max-Min Share 공평성을 만족하는 개선된 WRR 스케줄링 알고리즘 (Modified WRR Scheduling Algorithm for Satisfying Maximum of MCR or Max-Min Share Fairness Criterion)

  • WRR 스케줄링 알고리즘은 계산의 단순성과 저 비용 구현의 장점을 가지고 있어 고속 패킷 스위칭 네트워크에서 널리 쓰이고 있지만 버스티한 트래픽에 대해서는 입력 트래픽을 일정 비율로 스케줄링하기 때문에 효율성이 낮다는 문제점이 있다. 또한, WRR 알고리즘은 ABR 서비스 클래스의 공평성 기준의 하나인 Maximum of MCR or Max-Min share 공평성을 만족시키지 못한다. 따라서 ABR 서비스를 위한 공평성 기준을 만족시키는 스케줄링 알고리즘이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 ABR 서비스를 위한 5가지 공평성 기준들 중 Maximum of MCR or Max-Min share를 만족시키는 스케줄링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘이 공평성 기준을 만족시키고, 네트워크 자원을 각 ABR VC들에게 공평하게 할당해 주는지를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 WRR 알고리즘과 비교, 분석한다.

Threshold Signature에 관한 연구 (Study on Threshold Signature)

  • n명의 사용자들 중 k명 이상이 모이면 시스템의 비밀정보가 재구성 되는 시스템을 threshold cryptosystem 이라고 한다. 1979년 Adi Shamir에 의해 threshold 개념이 제안된 이래로, 그 현실적인 효용성때문에 많은 연구들이 이루어져 왔다. Threshold cryptosystem을 구성하기 위해서는 n명의 사용자들이 각자의 share를 가지고 있어서 그 중 k명 이상이 자신의 share를 밝히면 시스템의 비밀정보가 재구성된다. 그러나, 시스템의 비밀정보가 재구성 된 후에는 각 사용자들의 share를 재분배해야 한다. 이러한 특성은 반복적으로 전자서명과 같은 비밀연산을 수행해야 하는 응용에서는 비현실적이 된다. 이러한 경우에 적용시키기 위한 암호시스템이 threshold signature이다. (t, n)-threshold signature 시스템에서는 n명의 사용자들 중 k명 이상이 자신의 share를 이용한 부분서명을 수행하면 전체 시스템 서명이 생성된다. 그러나, 시스템의 비밀정보는 재구성 되지 않으므로 아무도 알 수 없고, 따라서 재분배 할 필요가 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 threshold signature 시스템에 대한 연구결과들을 살펴본다.

  • Development of IT technology, in combination with the medical area, a number of developments have been made of the digital advanced medical devices, also increased interest in health, sharing of medical information has become increasingly necessary. Standardization for medical information sharing to satisfy these requirements have been studied. However, the medical information system is to build a system independent hospital itself, is difficult to share and exchange medical data with other medical institutions. In this paper, we provide a medical cloud system that can share medical information. Use DBaaS of cloud services. And is an international standard to have a HL7 share information by forming a meta-schema, each of the data transfer, the format of the document oriented data solves the heterogeneity between hospitals. Extracts the required field name of examination information, to exchange information with each of the local information and mapping. Health diagnostic information in the present study and diagnosis through accurate information sharing and exchange is possible ongoing management.

ShareSafe: An Improved Version of SecGraph

  • In this paper, we redesign, implement, and evaluate ShareSafe (Based on SecGraph), an open-source secure graph data sharing/publishing platform. Within ShareSafe, we propose De-anonymization Quantification Module and Recommendation Module. Besides, we model the attackers' background knowledge and evaluate the relation between graph data privacy and the structure of the graph. To the best of our knowledge, ShareSafe is the first platform that enables users to perform data perturbation, utility evaluation, De-A evaluation, and Privacy Quantification. Leveraging ShareSafe, we conduct a more comprehensive and advanced utility and privacy evaluation. The results demonstrate that (1) The risk of privacy leakage of anonymized graph increases with the attackers' background knowledge. (2) For a successful de-anonymization attack, the seed mapping, even relatively small, plays a much more important role than the auxiliary graph. (3) The structure of graph has a fundamental and significant effect on the utility and privacy of the graph. (4) There is no optimal anonymization/de-anonymization algorithm. For different environment, the performance of each algorithm varies from each other.

효과적인 의료정보 공유를 위한 HL7 기반의 XML 저장소 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of an XML Repository Based on HL7 for Efficiently Sharing Medical Information)

  • 현재 거의 대부분의 병원들은 각각 독자적인 의료정보 시스템 체계를 구축하고 있으며, 이렇게 구축된 의료정보 시스템들은 서로 다른 운영체제와 데이터베이스를 사용하기 때문에 상호 간에 환자에 대한 의료정보를 효율적으로 공유찬 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하며 HL7을 기반으로 관계형 데이터베이스 위에 EJB 컴포넌트들을 작성$.$조립하여, 환자들에 대한 의료정보를 저장할 수 있는 XML 저장소(REPOMI : An XML Repository for Medical Information)를 개발하였다. REPOMI를 이용하면 환자들에 대한 의료정보의 정확한 교환 및 공유가 이루어질 것이다. 따라서 개인 병원과 종합병원 간에도 효율적인 의료정보 교환이 가능한 것이다. 이로 인하여 의료기관들은 환자들에게 시간과 비용면에서 더욱 효율적인 진료를 제공할 수 있게 될 것이다.

The Knowledge Transfer of Tesco UK into Korea, in Terms of Retailer Brand Development and Handling Processes

  • With the increasing market share of retailer brands, many authors have paid considerable attention to retailer brands. Before market liberalisation in 1996 in Korea, retailer brand market was led by the supermarket retailing format, although the first retailer brand product was developed by the department store format. In parallel with the entry of foreign multiple retailers, the retailer brand market has experienced rapid growth. Particularly, the expansion of Tesco UK with well-established retailing know-how into Korea has encouraged Tesco Korea to actively get involved in retailer brand program. As a result, Tesco Korea has led retailer brand market in the Korean marketplace. The research starts with the question of why Tesco Korea has achieved such a higher retailer brand share. Accordingly, this study is to explore how Tesco UK has transferred its own retailing knowledge into Tesco Korea, in terms of retailer brand program development. In order to explore why the retailer brand share of Tesco Korea is higher than that of its counterparts, the author adopted in-depth interview with prepared-questions and store observation as a research methodology. To examine working process as well as information flows within Tesco Korea and from UK to Korea, in-depth interview method is one of the most suitable research methodologies, because of the difficulty of quantifying information or data related to work flows. In addition, to increase the validity of information, the researcher had interviews with Tesco Korea supplier and store personnel. Based on these research techniques, this research explored how Tesco UK has influenced or advised Tesco Korea, particularly, from the point of view of knowledge transfer. Since the entry of Tesco UK into Korea as a joint-venture, the retailer brand market share of Tesco Korea has continuously increased. It would be expected that Tesco UK has helped Tesco Korea to settle down in the Korean market. During interviews with Tesco and a Tesco supplier, the researcher found that Tesco Korea has obviously taken an advantage of retailing know-how created by Tesco UK. Furthermore, the retailer brand development and handling process of Tesco Korea has been operated with the help of Tesco UK. This might mean that Tesco UK has directly or indirectly an impact on the improvement of Korean retailer brand development skills. As a mechanism to transfer retailing knowledge developed in the home market into the host market, one of the international retailers, Tesco UK has adopted many different ways such as annual meeting, trading meeting to import or export own retailer brand products, offering of operation manual developed by Tesco UK and buyer cooperation between Tesco UK and Korea, in order to share information. Through these communication techniques, the knowledge of Tesco UK has been transferred to Tesco Korea. This research accordingly suggests that retailer brand market share is apparently related to how sophisticated or advanced the knowledge of the retailer brand development and handling process of retailers are. It is also demonstrated by this research that advanced development and handling skills make a considerable contribution to increasing retailer brand share in markets with a lower share or no presence of retailer brands.

  • 최근, 공유경제는 일반인들에게 인식이 좋아지면서 급부상하고 있다. 그래서 다양한 분야에서 자신의 물건, 집, 재능 등을 공유하는 현상이 많아지고 있다. 대표적으로 "Airbnb"와 같이 집 주인이 여행이나 출장으로 집을 비워둘 때, 자신의 집을 공유하는 쉐어하우스가 가장 활발하게 거래되고 있다. 쉐어하우스를 통해서 집주인은 비어있는 집을 이용하여 수익을 낼 수 있고, 고객들은 저렴한 가격으로 여행지나 출장지에서 숙소를 이용할 수 있다. 기존 쉐어하우스 시스템에서 고객들은 매번 비어있는 집을 확인해야하고, 깁 주인은 고객들의 입주신청을 기다려야하는 불편함을 없애기 위해 웨이팅리스트를 기반으로 한 서비스 플랫폼을 구현하고자 한다. 이 플랫폼을 통해 고객들은 원하는 집에 입주대기를 신청하여 대기 순서를 부여받아 매번 집을 찾아야하는 불편함을 해소할 수 있을 것이다.

온라인 실행공동체에서의 지식공유에 관한 연구 : 관계적 특성을 중심으로 (A Study on Knowledge Sharing in On-Line Communities of Practice : Focusing on the Relational Characteristics)

  • Prior studies on knowledge sharing have concentrated primarily on either organizational or individual characteristics. However, by focusing on the interaction between members in On-line communities of practice (CoPs), we seek to identify and analyze factors that affect knowledge sharing by members in CoPs. Therefore, we examine if the independent variables such as interactivity, followership, and trust have positive impacts on the dependent variables such as commitment to CoPs and intention to share knowledge. In addition, this study also investigates the relationship between commitment to CoP and intention to share knowledge. The empirical results show that interactivity has a positive impact on commitment, but an insignificant impact on intention to share knowledge. Besides, trust between members is significantly associated with intention to share knowledge, whereas it does not have a significant effect on commitment. Moreover, followership is significantly related to both commitment and intention to share knowledge. These empirical findings show that the relationship between members in CoPs play a significant, positive role in intention to share knowledge. In conclusion, this research contributes to shedding a light into both interactions between members in and commitment to CoPs that are critical to facilitate knowledge sharing.

An Intelligent 2D Secret Share Construction using Visual Cryptography for Secure Transmission

  • Data Security is the most challenging area in Internet communication, where most of the secret sharing schemes are proposed for binary images. But still it lacks in providing security for data communication, especially in image transmission. Traditional visual cryptography scheme generate meaningless diwies and the reconstruction phase leads to quality degradation over the secret image. In this work, an intelligent two dimensional secret share construction scheme is proposed. A secret image is expanded into n diwies with the choice of scheme selection. By Stacking all the qualified diwies to revert the secret image without content loss and less than s* - 1 shares could not reveal any information about the secret image. The experimental results emphasize that the proposed secret share scheme is highly secured for image transmission.

Estimating multiplicative competitive interaction model using kernel machine technique

  • We propose a novel way of forecasting the market shares of several brands simultaneously in a multiplicative competitive interaction model, which uses kernel regression technique incorporated with kernel machine technique applied in support vector machines and other machine learning techniques. Traditionally, the estimations of the market share attraction model are performed via a maximum likelihood estimation procedure under the assumption that the data are drawn from a normal distribution. The proposed method is shown to be a good candidate for forecasting method of the market share attraction model when normal distribution is not assumed. We apply the proposed method to forecast the market shares of 4 Korean car brands simultaneously and represent better performances than maximum likelihood estimation procedure.
