With the release Apple's iPhone, smartphone is enjoying a tremendous popularity. Security experts pointed the smartphone security risks and KCC(Korea Communications Commission) published safety rules for smartphone users. In this paper we surveyed market and product trends of smartphone and analyzed the security technology of smartphoen OS including Symbian, iPhone OS, Windows Mobile and Android.

This paper presents an efficient reengineering technique for the logistics process innovation which is the foundation of supply-chain management. Based on consulting experience on the domestic manufacturing firms, this paper provides promotion step for logistics innovation and six reengineering points including check system for customer's credit limit, check system of real-time inventory information, automatic system for sequential production plan, automatic order-release system, automatic packing system, and happy-call system for order-forward information. For each reengineering point, application cases in domestic industry are also presented.

무선 통신 데이터 사용량은 꾸준히 증가하고 있는데, 주파수 자원이 한정되어 있어서 무선 통신망의 용량을 키우려면 셀(cell)을 작게 하여 동일 면적에 더 많은 셀을 구축해야 한다. 이를 효율적으로 구축하기 위한 방안으로 C-RAN 개념이 도입되었다. 본고에서는 C-RAN 아키텍쳐에 대해 소개하고, C-RAN의 특장점을 성능 관점, 설치 운용 관점 및 3GPP Release 10 이후의 기술 적용 관점에서 살펴보고, Super Hot Spot에서의 C-RAN 응용 사례와 향후 발전 전망에 대해 논의한다.

본 논문은 Linux에서 사용되는 Shared Memory는 동일한 메모리 영역에 여러 개의 프로세스가 접근할 수 있도록 해 주는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 Shared Memory의 큰 두 갈래 중 커널 단계에서 처리 되는 SVR(System V Release) 형식의 Shared Memory를 다룬다. 본 논문에서는 리눅스 운영체제의 공유 메모리 기능을 Dual Core 시스템에서 동작하도록 구현한다.

Recently, as a number of media are fused into a phone, the requirement of security of service provided on a mobile phone is increasing. For this, conventional cryptographic key based on password and security card is used in the mobile phone, but it has the characteristics which is easy to be vulnerable and to be illegally stolen. To overcome such a problem, the researches to generate key based on biometrics have been done. However, it has also the problem that biometric information is susceptible to the variation of environment, whereas conventional cryptographic system should generate invariant cryptographic key at any time. So, we propose new method of producing cryptographic key based on "Biometric matching-based key release" instead of "Biometric-based key generation" by using both face and iris information in order to overcome the unstability of uni-modal biometries. Also, by using mega-pixel camera embedded on mobile phone, we can provide users with convenience that both face and iris recognition is possible at the same time. Experimental results showed that we could obtain the EER(Equal Error Rate) performance of 0.5% when producing cryptographic key. And FAR was shown as about 0.002% in case of FRR of 25%. In addition, our system can provide the functionality of controlling FAR and FRR based on threshold.

This paper presents an efficient stable logging scheme for the distributed shared memory system based on the lazy release consistent memory model. In the proposed scheme, inter-process dependency is traced and stable logging is performed when the dependency relation between processes actually happens. With the dependency tracking, the proposed scheme requires much less frequency of stable logging, comparing with the previous schemes in which stable logging is performed whenever any information transfer happens between processes. Also, in the proposed scheme, every data item accessed by a process is not logged, but only the access information is logged in the stable storage. For the recovery from a failure, the correct version of the accessed data items can be effectively traced by using the logged access information. As a result, the amount of logged information is also reduced.

DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a protocol for efficiency and convenience of the IP address management. DHCP automatically assigns an IP address and configuration information needed to run the TCP/IP communication to individual host in the network. However, existing DHCP is vulnerable for network attack such as DHCP spoofing, release attack because there is no mutual authentication systems between server and client. To solve this problem, we have designed a new DHCP protocol supporting the following features: First, ECDH(Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman) is used to create session key and ECDSA(Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) is used for mutual authentication between server and client. Also this protocol ensures integrity of message by adding a HMAC(Hash-based Message Authentication Code) on the message. And replay attacks can be prevented by using a Nonce. As a result, The receiver can prevent the network attack by discarding the received message from unauthorized host.

The cinema circuit is facing a digital, network, and mobile age, which expands non-theater accessibility to movies. Application platforms are situated as the most competitive business model that provide digital content such as games, music, books, and movies. Consumers can acquire content-related information not just offline, but online as well. Therefore, item information provided by application platforms is required. The information provided by application platforms consists of richly descriptive information such as storyline summary, consumer reviews, and related articles, while non-descriptive normative information covers data such as sales ranking, release date, genre, rental or purchase cost, domestic/foreign classification, consumer rating, number of consumer ratings, film rating, and so on. In this study, we surveyed and analyzed statistically the correlation between real-time sales ranking and other comparable non-descriptive information.

The WCO Time Release Study (TRS) is a unique tool and method for measuring the actual performance of Customs activities. The ultimate aim of TRS is to improve the performance of the function being measured. To be more specific, TRS is used for identifying bottlenecks in the international supply chain and/or constraints affecting Customs release, assessing newly introduced and modified techniques, procedures, technologies and infrastructure, or administrative changes, establishing baseline trade facilitation performance measurement, identifying opportunities for trade facilitation improvements and estimating the country's approximate comparative position as a benchmark tool. The effective utilization methods of TRS for trade facilitation in Korea Customs Services are as follows ; Firstly, it is necessary to make every efforts to identify bottlenecks in border-related procedures and improve their procedures for continuous and more improved trade facilitation. Secondly, it is necessary to optimize and simplify export-related procedures using the TRS in exportation for efficiency of total international supply chain. Thirdly, it is necessary to make coordinated border management with main trading partners. Lastly, it is necessary to enhance Korea's international status to support underdeveloped countries in the field of trade procedures.

This study examined the impact of newspaper scale on the use of local government's news releases by local newspapers. Thus, to see the impact, the four local newspapers and the local government's news releases were content-analyzed. Further, through a depth interview, this study tried to understand local journalists' thoughts on using the news releases published by local government. This study hypothesized a negative relationship between the newspaper scale and the degree of the use of news release, between the scale and the dependent rate on the news releases, and proposed a positive relationship between the scale and the writing styles(neutral, negative, neutral, positive). The research results supported the first two hypotheses, and the third partially. Thus, the greater the newspaper scale, the higher the degree of the use of news release by local newspaper. And the greater the scale, the higher the dependent rate on the news releases. In addition, the smaller newspaper in the scale showed more positive and negative writing styles than the larger did. On the other hand, the larger newspaper tend to have more neutral writing style than the smaller did. The interviewee also indicated, in terms of newspaper scale, there was diverse perspectives on the use of news release.
