A Contents Analysis on the Internet Sites for Women (여성전용 인터넷사이트의 콘텐츠 분석)

  • Internet sites for women, as combination of the advanced telecommunication and women's culture, have influenced our society both quantitatively and qualitatively. In that, this study builds a theoretical basis on internet sites for women in relation to internet, cyberspace, and women's culture; examines internet sites for women in Korea : compares and analyzes internet sites for women in terms of women's portal sites, women's community sites, women's professional sites, and women's educational sites : and suggests some recommendations for improvement. In so doing, this study aims at enhancing our understanding of internet, cyberspace, and women's culture in general.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the architecture of the ubiquitous software robot platform (Sobot platform) based on Web 2.0. In order to provide a user with the personalized emotional service by transferring to any device without any time or geographical limitations, the software robot must be developed as a form of a platform based on the standardized data and structures. To verify the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed Sobot platform consisting of the terminal platform, the server platform, and the contents composer, we compose user-created emotional Sobot contents messages on heterogeneous platforms such as PC, a mobile phone, a PDA, and a web portal site and experiment a variety of Sobot transfer implementation between them.

An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Customer Value and Repurchase Intentions of Online Business (온라인 비즈니스의 고객가치와 재구매 의도의 관계에 관한 실증연구)

  • Customer value is the source for competitive advantage of online businesses such as Internet shopping malls and portal service. It is important to analyze the relationship between customer value and repurchase in order to provide a guideline of successful online business. The purpose of this paper is to get answers for the following questions. First, what are key components of customer value in online business? Second, What difference exists in the importance or expectance of customer value and its current service level of online business? Finally, what influence relationships exist in customer value and repurchase intentions? Data were collected from 615 respondents who experienced purchase on the Internet shopping malls. This paper developed and empirically tested a model representing the relationships between customer value factors and repurchase intentions as well as difference between the importance of customer value and its service level. The findings here suggested that the service level of customer value was significantly lower than its importance, and customer value factors positively affected the repurchase intentions. Specifically, economy and trust/responsiveness value factors directly affected the repurchase intentions while other factors such as convenience, speed, personalization, community, and emotion value indirectly affected it through trust/responsiveness.

Comparative Evaluation of the Unified Search Services Provided by Major Korean Search Portals (주요 검색 포탈들의 통합 검색 서비스 비교 평가)

  • This study aims to perform an evaluation of unified search services provided by major Korean search portals, Naver, Daum, Yahoo-Korea, and Empas. These unified search services are evaluated in terms of the relevance of search results. In conducting this study, real queries that real users submitted were used. This study also utilized click logs that consist of documents users clicked and viewed. The results of this study can be implemented to the development and improvement of portal's unified search services. Users can refer to the results of this study in choosing unified search services from search portals.

  • 정부의 지식행정시스템은 2001년 도입 이래 그 동안 각 기관의 실정에 맞게 많은 발전을 거쳐 사용자들이 업무를 효율적으로 수행하기 위해 필수적인 시스템으로 자리를 잡았다. 하지만 최근 정보보안(내부 자료 유출 방지, 해킹 피해 최소화 등)의 요구가 증가함에 따라 기존의 네트워크를 업무망과 인터넷망으로 분리하는 네트워크 분리가 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 변화에서 지식행정시스템은 시스템 분할의 기준이 없어 일방적으로 업무망에만 설치되는데 이렇게 될 경우 지식행정시스템의 일부 기능이 제한되고 사용자의 사용성이 떨어지며 외부 사용자는 접근이 불가능하게 되는 문제가 발생한다. 정보보안 강화라는 네트워크 분리의 목적을 달성하면서도 사용자의 불편함을 최소화하기 위해서는 업무망에 있는 지식행정시스템을 업무망과 인터넷망에 분할하여 설치하는 새로운 모델이 필요한데, 기존에 제안된 분할 방법은 분할 목적이 다름으로 인해 적용하기가 어려웠다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크 분리 환경에 맞는 새로운 시스템 분할 요인으로 외부사용자 참여도, 내부시스템 결합도, 인터넷 결합도를 제시하고 요인별 측정치에 따른 위치를 결정하여 네트워크 분할환경에서의 효율적인 지식행정시스템 모델을 제안하고 문화체육관광부의 지식행정시스템에 적용한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 지식행정시스템 모델을 사용하면 네트워크 분리환경에 따라 발생한 시스템의 제한된 기능의 정상화가 가능하고, 불가능했던 외부 사용자의 접근이 가능하며, 사용자의 불편함을 완화시킬 수 있다.

Analysis of Mobile Search Functions of Korean Search Portals (검색 포털들의 모바일 검색 기능 분석)

  • This study aims to investigate the current status of mobile search functions of Korean search portals, namely Google Korea, Naver, Nate, Daum, and Yahoo Korea. This study focuses on unique mobile search functionalities, such as voice search, music search, code search, and visual/ object search. In particular, this study analyzed characteristics of these search functions and evaluated their performances based on the accuracy and the speed of recognition. The results of this study show that both Naver and Daum support various mobile searching functions, whereas Google only supports voice search. Nate and Yahoo do not offer any unique function. The results of this study can be applied to the portal's effective development of mobile search functionalities.

Assessment of the Forecasting Studies on 12 Traditional Korean Medicine Policy Realization (12개 미래 예측 한의약 정책 과제의 실현 평가 연구)

  • Objectives : Aim of this study is to contribute to establishment of the Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) policies in the future. Final assessment for 12 of the forecasting projects was carried out on the TKM policies that deduced by professionals in 1996 whether or not to realize in 2013. Methods : We investigated governmental and private research projects, reports and papers, and laws and systems on the forecasting projects. We reviewed them through the Traditional Korean Medicine Information Portal OASIS (http://oasis.kiom.re.kr), Korean studies Information Service System (KISS) (http://kiss.kstudy.com/) and DBpia (http://www.dbpia.co.kr/), Akomnews(http://www.akomnews.com/), THE MINJOK MEDICINE NEWS(http://www.mjmedi.com/), Ministry of Government Legislation(http://www.law.go.kr/). Results : Of the 12 forecasting projects, five were judged as 'realization', four were as 'partial realization' and three were as 'un-realization', The realization rate was 75.0%. Three un-realized projects included the TKM insurance coverage for various herbal medicines, leadership secure on medical technicians and commercialization of the TKM managing system on senior medicare policy. Realization of the future forecasting TKM policy projects was decided depending on conditions such as the importance, domestic capability levels, principal agents, methods and restrains. Conclusions : Continuous studies and new developed forecasting projects for the TKM policies will be required to realize the projects in the future.

  • This study aims to perform an evaluation of directory services provided by major Korean search portals: Naver, Daum, Yahoo-Korea, and Empas. A directory service of Open Directory is also compared. These directory services are evaluated in terms of the coverage, category creation criteria, site selection criteria, breadth and depth of hierarchy, clarity and currency of category names, order of category listing, and overall classification system. The results of this study can be implemented for the development and improvement of portal's directory services. Users can refer to the results of this study in choosing directory services from search portals.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new customized e-Ring(Enterprise Ring Back Tone) system which could be represented each user and organization feature. The e-Ring system provided the ring back tone and additional services to reduce the waiting time when the client called an organization. This system was for an appropriate organization public relations instead of the meaningless ring back tone which was used usual call, also was maximized the service availability and work efficiency which was obtained from the automatic response and service suppling to users who had needs and questions.

  • 부가서비스는 공급자가 소비자에게 제공하는 본질적인 재화 또는 서비스에 추가하여 부수적으로 제공되는 서비스라는 사전적 의미를 갖고 있다. 최근에는 IT 기술이 발전함에 따라, 웹을 기반으로 한 다양한 부가서비스가 각 산업에서 등장하였으며, 때로는 기본적인 서비스처럼 여겨지기도 할 만큼 성장하고 있다. 전력산업에서도 이러한 시대적 요구와 경쟁력 강화를 위한 수단으로 부가서비스가 도입되고 있다. 초기에는 주로 이메일 청구서 형태의 단순한 서비스였으나, 현재는 다양한 전력 인프라와 데이터를 이용한 전력부가서비스가 시도되고 있다. 국내에도 전력부가서비스 개념이 도입되어, 초기에는 전력부가서비스의 필요성과 이에 대한 인식이 부족하여 제한적인 분야에서만 개발되어왔다. 그러나 최근들어 공급자는 고객을 위한 부가서비스의 중요성을 인식하게 되고, 수용가 또한 이에 대한 높은 관심을 보임에 따라, 점차 다양한 분야로 확대되는 경향을 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 시장의 변화를 고려하여, 국내의 전력산업 환경에 적합한 부가서비스 BM을 개발하되, 성공적인 전력부가서비스로 구축하기 위해 수용가의 선호도와 요구사항을 조사하고 이를 충분히 반영한 전력부가서비스 BM(Business Model) 개발 및 시스템 구축방안에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.
