In this paper, we present a proposed monitoring system for smart factories with several aspects, including information gathering, analysis, control, and display that relate to concurrently operation processes in the factory area. This paper proposes a monitoring and management system for industrial automation. In particular, it uses an Internet of Thing (IoT) device with a data protocol unit to convert the industrial protocols and transfer the information on various parameters. In the case of data communication, the proposed monitoring system is designed to support users to remotely manage with the cloud server by implementing conversion between Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP of protocol communications. The proposed communication technique has been verified by experiments.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effective nurse interaction patterns with patients in the emergency department. Methods: For this study, video technology was used to record complete conversations between the nurse and patient. The participants were 28 nurses and 63 patients in the emergency department at one university hospital located in Seoul. The data were collected from November, 2002 to April, 2003. The video recordings were observed for 4 hr for each case and coded using an adapted version of Roter's Interaction Analysis System (RIAS). The data were analyzed using cluster analysis to identify the patterns of nurse-patient interaction. Results: Cluster analysis revealed 4 distinct nurse interaction patterns; 1) "closed" characterized by orientation and negative talk, 2) "positive" characterized by positive affective talk, 3) "informative and directing" characterized by task-focused behavior including data gathering, and giving information about medical condition and treatment, 4) "facilitative" characterized by balance of psychosocial and biomedical topics. Patient satisfaction was highest in the facilitative interaction pattern. Conclusion: The patient centered interaction pattern, balancing information exchange and psychosocial exchange are the most effective interactions in the emergency department, suggesting that effective interaction skill is a core clinical nursing intervention in acute care.

Recently, mobile internet technologies are enabling the possibility of radically new computing services which can share information and communicate with others on the move. In this situation, prior studies have attempted to identify of what factors make people use mobile internet. However, prior researches focused on investigating the factors affecting users' adoption to Mobile Internet. In order to offer beneficial materials to mobile internet companies, we investigated important factors to increase mobile users' value from the viewpoints of customer. In particular, this study was progressed how characteristics of mobile contents affect users' intrinsic attributes and how perceived users' network effects affect users' value in the mobile computing environments. To empirically test proposed hypotheses, we have analyzed 285 survey data gathering from mobile internet users and verified hypotheses by using SEM (structural equation modeling). Based on the results of this study, we found that content accessibility and content quality have significant impacts on users' intrinsic attributes such as perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment. In addition, this study also revealed that perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment were positively related to users' emotional value. Moreover, this study found that perceived users' network effects could affect users' monetary value by mediating expected benefits. Based on our findings, we can understand that this perspective can provide a deeper understanding of the mobile users' value adoption by bridging the gap between mobile internet studies and actual practice.

In this paper, we implemented the computer vision platform design with MEAN Stack through Raspberry PI 2 model which is an open source platform. we experimented the face recognition, temperature and humidity sensor data logging with WiFi communication under Raspberry Pi 2 model. Especially we directly made the shape of platform with 3D printing design. In this paper, we used the face recognition algorithm with OpenCV software through haarcascade feature extraction machine learning algorithm, and extended the functionality of wireless communication function ability with Bluetooth technology for the purpose of making Android Mobile devices interface. And therefore we implemented the functions of the vision platform for identifying the face recognition characteristics of scanning with PI camera with gathering the temperature and humidity sensor data under IoT environment. and made the vision platform with 3D printing technology. Especially we used MongoDB for developing the performance of vision platform because the MongoDB is more akin to working with objects in a programming language than what we know of as a database. Afterwards, we would enhance the performance of vision platform for clouding functionalities.

It needs an Integration Management Center in u-City to mange all events for an efficiency of city function, to enhance an installed infrastructure of information, and to provide u-Service like residence, administration, and culture in real time. Integration Management Center is a place to provide a city information from gathering data of communication network, traffic network, and facilities. The u-Services in Integration Management Center need an Integrated Platform to integrate verticality and horizontality between service layer. This paper study an infrastructure of Integration Operation Center and Integrated Platform. Lastly the topics are suggested how to make it a success in u-City.

Knowledge integration is becoming a primary function of improving organizational capabilities and performance in today's convergence paradigm. The knowledge integration capability of employees has increasingly been regarded as a critical source for developing new products and services. This study investigates the influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability and its effects. A theoretical research model was developed based on the socio-technical perspective and information processing theory. The model includes teamwork quality, expertise, IT support, and knowledge complexity as the primary influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability. A large-scale survey was conducted for gathering data (a total of 316 samples from 141 organizations) to test the proposed model. The test results of the hypotheses show that expertise and knowledge complexity are the significant influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability, and also the capability has a positive effect on the knowledge creation performance of employees. Our findings contribute to the development of initiatives for promoting employees' knowledge integration capability, especially in knowledge intensive organizations focusing on convergence products and services.

A Smart Home is a technically expanded from home network that gives us a comfortable life. But still there is a problem such as mal function of devices and intrusions by malicious parties since it is based on home network. The intrusion by malicious parties causes a critical problem to the individual's privacy. Therefore to take legal actions against to the intruders, the intrusion evidence collecting and managing technology are widely researched in the world. The evidence collecting technology uses the system which was damaged by intruders and that system is used as evidence materials in the court of justice. However the collected evidences are easily modified and damaged in the gathering evidence process, the evidence analysis process and in the court. That's why we have to prove the evidence's integrity to be valuably used in the court. In this paper, we propose a mechanism for securing the reliability and the integrity of digital evidence that can properly support the Computer Forensics. The proposed mechanism shares and manages the digital evidence through mutual authenticating the damaged system, evidence collecting system, evidence managing system and the court(TTP: Trusted Third Party) and provides a secure access control model to establish the secure evidence management policy which assures that the collected evidence has the corresponded legal effect.

Contemporary society is a digital and information-oriented society and a change by digital and information-oriented has made a new society principle and creature. The principle and creature has made society changed having influence on office space. The 21st century business space attachs great importance to the public space as the value of work place, namely, the place of gathering and client meeting which is society space and a thing which grants it with the biggest investment worth is a new order. This kind of society change has been making an appearance in contemporary office space as features of Narrative, Nodal, Neighbourly, Nomadic. These kinds of trends which are not exclusive mutually are stipulated as new trials to business space holding a lot of overriding features in common. These kinds of features brought into relief according to society change can be seen as key words speaking for contemporary office space and have a significance to contemplate and study for the office space of a new concept made an appearance together with society change. It is expected to contribute to revitalization programs with the far-reaching effect of understanding about ideal office work circumstances and work shape which the 21st century wants standing on the features of these new concepts.

Recently, as the sensor and big data analysis technology have been developed, there have been a lot of researches that analyze the purchase-related data such as the trajectory information and the stay time. Such purchase-related data is usefully used for the purchase pattern prediction and the purchase time prediction. Because it is difficult to find periodic patterns in large-scale human data, it is necessary to look at actual data sets, find various feature patterns, and then apply a machine learning algorithm appropriate to the pattern and purpose. Although existing papers have been used to analyze data using various machine learning methods, there is a lack of statistical analysis such as finding feature patterns before applying the machine learning algorithm. Therefore, we analyze the purchasing data of Songjeong Maeil Market, which is a data gathering place, and finds some characteristic patterns through statistical data analysis. Based on the results of 1, we derive meaningful conclusions by applying the machine learning algorithm and present future research directions. Through the data analysis, it was confirmed that the number of visits was different according to the regional characteristics around Songjeong Maeil Market, and the distribution of time spent by consumers could be grasped.

The purpose of this study is to propose established factors and a model of collection development policies for the libraries of theological universities in Korea. To achieve purpose of the study, we analyzed of elements and details of collection development policies at libraries of theological universities in overseas. The study then conducted a survey to understand the current status of collection development policies at libraries of theological universities in Korea. Based on the above results, reflecting both the external and the internal factors, the investigator presented a model of collection development policies by identifying seven elements that should be included when developing the policy: prefaces, collection selection, collection gathering, budget, collection maintenance, mutual cooperation and intellectual freedom, and revision of collection development policies.
