This study explores critical and success factor of benefits and risks for predicting the acceptance of QR code virtual fashion stores. As an exploratory approach, this study conducted focus group interviews(FGI) with 21 panels who had experience with selected QR virtual stores (e.g., Home plus, 11th Street, Pin & Fit). Content analysis was used to generate 184 excerpts and classify into benefits and risks related to QR code virtual stores. With respect to benefits, content analysis identified four factors: Affective appeal, perceived usefulness, ubiquity, and brand promotion. Also, contents regarding perceived risks were classified into four factors: Complexity, lack of information, lack of technology infrastructure, and perceived cost. A managerial implication was discussed for predicting consumer technology acceptance of a QR code virtual store in the fashion retailing market.

This paper proposes an efficient code acquisition scheme for direct-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) based real-time locating systems (RTLS). The proposed scheme employs multiple bit integration to significantly decrease false alarms when no packet signal is transmitted and increase the detection probability when the RTLS tags are excited. The performance of the proposed code acquisition scheme is analyzed and numerically evaluated, and compared with those of single-dwell and traditional double-dwell code acquisition schemes. The simulation results show that the proposed multiple-bit integration scheme outperforms single-dwell and double-dwell schemes.

In this paper, we present encoders and decoders with the two kinds of ternary Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem(BCH) codes in the most basic ternary code system from among multiple-valued code systems. One is the random-triple-error-correcting ternary BCH(26,14) code for sequential data, the other is random-triple -error-correcting ternary BCH (26,13) code. The encoders and the decoders realized are verified by experiment. Amount of the (26,13) decoder's hardware is about 50% of the one of the (26,14) decoder's one.

마트, 식당, 도서관 등 우리 주변 많은 곳에서 바코드가 사용되고 있다. 바코드는 주로 ISBN, Code128, Code39 등의 형식이 쓰이는데 그중 Code 128은 ASCII Code를 기반으로 하기 때문에 ASCII Code 0번부터 32번까지의 제어 문자를 바코드에 담을 수 있다. 제어 문자는 본래 프린터 또는 통신 접속구 등 주변 장치에 정보를 전달하기 위하여 사용되는 문자를 뜻하지만 Windows상에서 입력될 시 전혀 다른 역할을 한다. 주로 바코드 기기에서 입력 값을 검증하지 않으므로 이를 이용해 제어 문자를 담은 바코드를 태깅해 명령 프롬포트를 열고 명령을 실행할 수 있다. 또한 대부분의 바코드 인식 프로그램이 DB를 사용하고, 보안이 다른 프로그램들에 비해 취약하다는 점에서 SQL Injection 공격 가능성을 제시한다.

This paper presents a super-resolution reconstruction method based on sparse representation for two-dimensional bar code images. Considering the features of two-dimensional bar code images, Kirsch and LBP (local binary pattern) operators are used to extract the edge gradient and texture features. Feature extraction is constituted based on these two features and additional two second-order derivatives. By joint dictionary learning of the low-resolution and high-resolution image patch pairs, the sparse representation of corresponding patches is the same. In addition, the global constraint is exerted on the initial estimation of high-resolution image which makes the reconstructed result closer to the real one. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for two-dimensional bar code images by comparing with other reconstruction algorithms.

In this paper, we propose a serially concatenated turbo bode/turbo equalizer scheme for optical storage systems. Without modulation coding, a random data sequence is directly passed through the optical channel. In simulation, the channel includes jitter of 15% and AWGN. The densities of the channel are S=4.6 and S=7.0. The code rates of turbo code are 4/5, 8/9 and 16/17. All code rates, the bit error probability is less than 10-5 at 24dB when we and jitter of 15%.

Recently a number of multi-rate CDMA systems have been proposed for the third generation mobile communication system. Multi-Code CDMA (MC-CDMA) offers the system construction advantage of being able to use a single-rate receiver. But MC-CDMA suffers from the distortion due to the nonlinearity of the power amplifier. In this paper, we analyze the effect of the nonlinearity on the bit error rate performance of MC-CDMA systems. A polynomial model is used to represent the amplifier amplitude nonlinearities.

In this letter, a novel M-ary code-selected direct sequence (DS) ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system is presented. Our purpose is to achieve a high data rate by an M-ary code-selected direct sequence bipolar pulse amplitude modulation (MCSDS-BPAM) scheme. In this system, a particular DS code sequence is selected by the $log_2M$/2 bits from the DS gold code set. This scheme can accomplish both a high data rate without increasing the system bandwidth or changing the pulse shape and improve the BER with an increase of modulation level M even at a lower signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The receiver signal processing algorithm is given for an MCSDS-BPAM UWB system over an ideal AWGN channel and correlation receivers.

This paper investigates PN code acquistion algorithm and demodulation performance of the RAKE receiver in the DS/CDMA(direct sequence code division multiple access) sysytems under a multipath fading channel with multiusers. To speed up the acquisition process, PN matched filter is applied and postdetection integration technique comable withthe dynamic threshold set method is proposed. the Maximum-Likelihood algorithmin serial fashion is able to find PN code delay estimates for the RAKE branches using sliding window in a multipath fading channel. The correct acquistion probability and mean acquistion time are used as a performance measure of the system using the Monte Carlo method. The performance of the RAKEreceiver, afte the code acquisition is achieved is the CDMA systems, is also investigated for three major combining techniques.

In this paper, the complete weight enumerator of the Delsarte-Goethals code over Z$_4$ is obtained. This code is divided into 3 cases and the complete weight enumerator of each case is calculated. During this weight enumeration, the blown distribution of exponential sums and binary weight distribution of the sub-codes are used. By combining this result and MacWilliams identity, the complete weight enumerator of the Goethals code over Z$_4$can be easily obtained. This result is also used for finding 3-designs from the Goethals and Delsarte-Goethals codes over Z$_4$.
