A Study on Development of Guidelines for Transferring Electronic Records (전자 기록물 이관 절차 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The study aims at providing a practical, rather then conceptual, guideline for transferring electronic records for the purpose of applicable to the archives in Korea. To achieve this purpose the study analyzed ISO, AHDS, and CCSDS transfer guidelines, examined requirements for transferring records in one Korean government agency as a testbed, and finally developed a proposed guideline for e-records transfer that is suitable for Korea settings. The study is deemed significant in that the proposed guideline is derived from a case study and analysis of major transfer guidelines available.

  • For the object-oriented development methods authorized by OMG a number of official methodologies such as Booch, Coad/Yourdon methods are used in the development of the object-oriented soft ware and each methodology represents its process of analysis and design using different symbols. Between those notation methodologies there exist some differences as a matter of development, information for transfer, accordingly they act on the transfer of the information in the object-oriented development as obstacle and give rise to they natural outcome of error. The aim of this study is in the presentation of ideas that decrease the probability of errors by means of verify8ing the transferring ability of information which the existing diagrammatic notation methodologies have had on the basis of cognitive science, minimizing the cognitive load from the object-oriented development through enhancing symbols in each obstacles to transferring information and removing them.

  • Tracking technologies which provide real-time and customized information through various information collecting and processing for pedestrians who use traffic connective and transferring center have been being examined. However some problems are caused due to the wide-range positioning error for some services as device installation and service place. It is also difficult to be applied to traffic linkage and transfer services because many situations can be barren. In the testbed, Gwangmyoung Station, we got some results in bad conditions such as a lot of steel construction and another communication device. Practically, conditions of the place which will be built can be worse than Gwangmyoung station. Therefore, we researched suitable Location correction algorithm as a method for accuracy to traffic connective and transferring system. And its algorithm is designed through grid coordinates, map-matching, modeling coordinates and Kalman filtering and is being implemented continuously. Also preparing for optimization of various transferring center model, we designed for simulator type algorithm what is available for deciding algorithm factor.

  • In this study, a translator for transferring structural analysis data among commercial structural analysis programs was developed. The translator adopted the neutral format type based on ISO standard STEP AP 209 not only for the international standardization and robustness but also for the efficient management of structural analysis data Additional load entity is developed and added to AP 209 for the prevention of loss of information in retrieving exact loading condition. A modulization which is needed for efficient management and extension of the translator was made for the encapsulation of file format of each commercial code. Pilot tests peformed with 3-D frame analysis data of Sung-su bridge show that the developed translator guarantees the integrated management of analysis information as well as the exact transferring and retrieving of analysis data and related information.

  • Hardware implemented ring buffer systems and methods are presented for the effective management of the ring buffer in TCP/IP communication. The layer interface of the ring buffer systems transfer free buffer and used buffer size information to the TCP/IP stack upper or low layer. The pointer updation interface calculates a temporary pointer from the data size which is needed by the present pointer of the ring buffer and upper or lowyer layer. The pointer manager of the ring buffer systems is responsible for saving the present pointer of the ring buffer, updating the ring buffer pointer to the new pointer, calculating the free buffer size and used buffer size of the ring buffer, and transferring the information to the upper layer. The ring buffer systems help the TCP/IP layer and TCP/IP upper or lower layer to decide the sending or receiving data size effectively. The delay of transferring data can be lowered by the ring buffer system.

  • Acoustic Emission(AE) is widely used for early detection of faults for rotating machinery in these days because of its high sensitivity. AE signal has to need for transferring to low frequency range for the spectrum analysis included the fault mechanism. In transferring process, we lose a lot of fault information caused by unusable signal processing method. Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT) is a method of signal processing for AE signatures, but the pattern of its mother function is not optimized with AE signals. So, we can lose the fault information when we want to use the DWT for AE signal. Therefore, in this paper, we will propose a novel pattern for DWT mother function, which is optimized with AE signals. And it will be applied to compare the results of DWT by daubechie and novel pattern.

A Medium Access Control Protocol for rt- VBR Traffic in Wireless ATM Networks

  • This paper proposes a MAC protocol for real-time VBR (rt-VBR) services in wireless ATM networks. The proposed protocol is characterized by a contention-based mechanism of the reservation request, a contention-free polling scheme for transferring the dynamic parameters, and a priority scheme of the slot allocation. The design objective of the proposed protocol is to guarantee the real-time constraint of rt-VBR traffic. The scheduling algorithm uses a priority scheme based on the maximum cell transfer delay parameter. The wireless terminal establishes an rt-VBR connection to the base station with a contention-based scheme. The base station scheduler allocates a dynamic parameter minislot to the wireless terminal for transferring the residual lifetime and the number of requesting slots as the dynamic parameters. Based on the received dynamic parameters, the scheduler allocates the uplink slots to the wireless terminal with the most stringent delay requirement. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol can guarantee the delay constraint of rt-VBR services along with its cell loss rate significantly reduced.

  • In this paper, we investigate a charging mechanism for the system interworking between Wireless Local Area Networks(LANs) and Cellular Networks. Because the charging mechanisms of the two networks are different, a unified charging mechanism is required to correlate the charging informations of the two networks in the system interworking. Therefore, we propose a unified charging mechanism to collect charging information with a combined identifier. Also, we propose a decision method to control the interval of transferring accounting information according to the charging types of users (pre-paid, off-paid, and fixed-rate) and show that the proposed decision method improves the granularity and the communication efficiency of charging informations.

  • Development of the digital technology made possible the Integrated media that is combined computer with information network technology. Integrated media is the data transferring method through the multimedia, and has been developed by the similar form with the human's information transferring system. For that reason, interface has been developed as the important theme, Human Computer Interaction, according to the formal development. Using interface is not activated yet for the lack of connection with various divisions and the system of the product development although interfaces formatic development is re-arranged and re-established in design. This is the try to construct new model of the interface by re-arrange of the factors for the information transferring form development on the ground of the mp3 service vending machine development. Interface is divided into logical I formatic and hardware I software for he systematic classification and also arranged so that anybody can understand. Consequently, presenting of the new integrated interface paradigm can make possible to suggest the fundamental framework that is the new direction of the design re-arranged by the integrated media.
