This paper describes a design methodology of wireless networked Public View Monitor (PVM) based on Bluetooth network. We present the S/W design methodology of wireless networked PVM and experimental analysis using the implemented system. The developed system can be applied to industrial and market area by easy maintenance and flexibility.

유체의 파속과 파형을 이용한 많은 누수탐지 기술들이 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 파속을 계산하기 위해 천이류 방법을 이용하였고 누수지점의 탐지를 위해 주파수 분석방법을 개발하였다. 가압관망의 자료획득 시스템을 개발하였으며, 이를 통해 고주파 수압자료를 획득하였다. 이들 방법론은 측정과 모의 과정에서 발생되는 오차로 인한 불화실성을 적절히 처리할 수 있으며, 수압자료의 측정간을 근거로 누수의 예측지점을 추정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 방법은 수압자료로부터 확보되는 정보를 기반으로, 누수가 동반된 천이현상에서 누수예측능력을 보여주고 있다.

An efficient measurement methodology is proposed to construct the scattering parameters of a multi-port device using a four-port vector network analyzer (VNA) without the external un-terminated ports. By using the four-port VNA, the reflected waves from the un-terminated ports could be minimized. The proposed method significantly enhances the accuracy of the S-parameters with less number of measurements compared to the results of classical renormalization technique which uses two-port VNA. The proposed method is validated from the measured data with the coupled 8-port micro-strip lines.

본 고에서는 이동망 착신접속료 규제 필요성과 다양한 착신 접속료 산정 대안을 살펴보고 소매시장 경쟁측면, 접속시장 효율성 측면, 접속제공자 수지보전 측면, 그리고 접속원가 배분측면 등의 회계적인 측면에서 가장 합리적인 이동망 착신접속료 산정방안을 살펴보고자 한다.

Experimental software datasets describing software projects in terms of their complexity and development time have been the subject of intensive modeling. A number of various modeling methodologies and modeling designs have been proposed including such approaches as neural networks, fuzzy, and fuzzy neural network models. In this study, we introduce the concept of the Rule-based fuzzy polynomial neural networks (RFPNN) as a hybrid modeling architecture and discuss its comprehensive design methodology. The development of the RFPNN dwells on the technologies of Computational Intelligence (CI), namely fuzzy sets, neural networks, and genetic algorithms. The architecture of the RFPNN results from a synergistic usage of RFNN and PNN. RFNN contribute to the formation of the premise part of the rule-based structure of the RFPNN. The consequence part of the RFPNN is designed using PNN. We discuss two kinds of RFPNN architectures and propose a comprehensive learning algorithm. In particular, it is shown that this network exhibits a dynamic structure. The experimental results include well-known software data such as the NASA dataset concerning software cost estimation and the one describing software modules of the Medical Imaging System (MIS).

Severe earthquakes can cause damage to society both socially and economically. An appropriate initial response can alleviate damage from severe earthquakes. In order to formulate an appropriate initial response, it is necessary to identify damage situations in societies; however, it is difficult to grasp this information immediately after an earthquake event. In this study, an earthquake damage assessment methodology for buildings is proposed for estimating damage situations immediately after severe earthquakes. A response spectrum database is constructed to provide response spectra at arbitrary locations from earthquake measurements immediately after the event. The fragility curves are used to estimate the damage of the buildings. Earthquake damage assessment is performed from the response spectrum database at the building scale to provide enhanced damage condition information. Earthquake damage assessment for Gyeongju city and Pohang city were conducted using the proposed methodology, when an earthquake occurred on September 12, 2016, and November 15, 2017. Results confirm that the proposed earthquake damage assessment effectively represented the earthquake damage situation in the city to decide on an appropriate initial response by providing detailed information at the building scale.

A microstrip dual-wideband bandpass filter using a multimode resonator (MMR) is proposed in this letter. The proposed MMR loaded with a T-shaped open-ended stub and a short-ended stub exhibits triple mode characteristics, and a synthesis method is developed to illustrate the wide passband with independently controllable center frequencies and bandwidths. To verify this design methodology, a dual-wideband filter with fractional bandwidths of 19.1% and 27.9% is designed and fabricated. The measured results agree with the simulations.

Compact multi-band bandpass filters using quad-mode stub-loaded resonators are proposed in this letter. Firstly, a novel approach about the mode-splitting characteristics of the quadruple-mode resonator is investigated, which can provide dual-band behavior. Secondly, a quad-band filter is proposed and designed by cascading two quadruple-mode resonators; the upper one operates at 1.8/2.4 GHz (GSM- and WiMax-band) and the lower one at 1.57/2.1 GHz (GPS- and WCDMA-band). Finally, the proposed filters have been fabricated. Respectable agreement between simulation and measurement verifies the validity of this design methodology.

본 연구에서는 혼합형 온톨로지 구축방법론을 이용하여 ATCIS 체계에 활용 가능한 국방온톨로지의 구축 과정을 보여주고자 한다. 이를 위해, 실제 ATCIS의 데이터베이스 정보들을 활용하였고 해당 방법론이 ATCIS 체계에 적용될 때 추가적으로 고려해야 할 사항들을 함께 분석하였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 향후 보다 실용적인 국방온톨로지 구축을 위한 기반 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
