As leakage cases of personal information increase, the concern of personal information protection is also increasing. As a result, most applications encrypt and store sensitive information such as personal information. Especially, in case of instant messengers, it is more difficult to find database where is not encrypted and stored. However, this kind of database encryption acts as anti-forensic from the point of view of digital forensic investigation. In this paper, we analyze database encryption process of MalangMalang Talkcafe application which is one of instant messenger. Based on our analysis, we propose a decryption method and explain the meaningful information collected in the database.

Newspaper Article Information is an important source of information on social phenomenon with historical value. The development of computer and technology of information communication enables the construction of Newspaper Article Database by CTS and service through computer communication. It made it possible for the peoples to utilize the Newspaper Article Information easily. However, it is very difficult to utilize the currently prevailing system. There are differences in classification system of Newspaper Article Database and the Data Display Format. This survey aims to review the characteristics of Newspaper Article Database and current domestic computer communication service system. By comparing the classification system of Retrieval Menu and Data Display Format, I intended to suggest the standardized way of utilization which enables the users utilize them more easily and conveniently. The results of this survey is as follows : 1. More sub-divided distinction of classification item is required. 2. Separate classification item should be established for the distinction of article form which is very difficult to classify the subject. 3. Data Display Format should be equi n.0, pped with standardized format and signal which enables the users recognize it easily.

In this paper we present database model for Intelligent Peripheral (IP) of Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN). The new model is developed through four phase. (1) An information of AIN IP is classified that would be stored in AIN IP database as specialized resources, service. schema and system information. (2) The modeling criteria are developed that would be used to model information classified. (3) Object-oriented concepts are used in modelifl8 classified information according to modeling criteria captured. (4) Methods applied to developed model are grouped, and active-based mechnisms such as trigger and constraints are developed. These selected methods and attributes are encapsulated into objects. Consequently they compose an active object-oriented AIN IP database model.

The Korean Agricultural Culture Collection (KACC) has developed a web-based system to provide an integrated database with information updates about microbial resources. This integrated database consists of 5 major functions and contains general information, which includes identification numbers, culture media composition, image information, DNA sequences, patent information, and general forms for ordering and depositing microorganisms. In 2008, KACC started providing characterization information. KACC maintains 9,801 cultures of microorganisms, including 3,296 strains of bacteria, 4,734 fungi, 784 actinomycetes, 64 yeasts, and 923 others.

Recently, many areas of application such as statistics and industrial engineering are interested in the effective education of databases. In this article we design and implement a database learning system based on learner management techniques. The system supports a personalized/ team-centered learning environment, monitoring the learning attitude of learners, and a method for the assessment.

We have developed WinBioDBs with Windows interfaces, which include importing modules and searching interfaces for 10 major public databases such as GenBank, PIR, SwissProt, Pathway, EPD, ENZYME, REBASE, Prosite, Blocks, and Pfam. User databases can be constructed with searching results of queries and their entries can be edited. The program is a stand-alone database searching program on Windows PC. Database update features are supported by importing raw database files and indexing after downloading them. Users can adjust their own searching environments and report format and construct their own projects consisting of a combination of a local databases. WinBioDBs are implemented with VC++ and its database is based on MySQL.

This paper presents about the activities of speech database standardization in ETRI. Recently, with the support of government, ETRI and SiTEC have been gathering the large speech corpus for the domestic speech related companies. First, due to the lack of sharing the knowledge of speech database specification, the distributed speech database has a different format. Hence it seems to be needed to have the same format as soon as possible. ETRI and SiTEC are trying to find the better representation format of speech database. Second, we introduce a new description method of the annotation information of speech database. As one of the structured description method, XML based description will be applied to represent the metadata of the speech database. It will be continuously revised through the speech technology standard forum during this year.
