패션잡지광고의 내용분석 (Content Analysis of Fashion Magazine Advertisement)

  • 본 연구에서는 2008년 10~12월 발간된 월간 패션잡지를 대상으로 광고의 내용분석을 시도하였다. 7가지 유형의 패션잡지를 선정하여 총 368개의 광고물을 수집하였으며, Resnik and Stern의 정보 분류체계를 적용하여 광고정보의 양, 평균 정보량, 잡지유형별, 광고 사이즈별 정보성의 차이를 분석했다. 분석결과, 정보적으로 평가되는 광고가 차지하는 비중은 36.1%로 매우 낮게 나타났다. 그 중, 구입처를 제외한 나머지 13가지 정보단서는 5% 미만으로 나타나 선행연구들과 대조되는 차이를 보였다. 잡지유형별로는 Woman Sense에 게재된 광고물이 가장 많은 정보를 포함하고 있었으며, 광고 사이즈에 따른 정보성 차이를 분석한 결과에서는 잡지 광고물의 대형화등의 특징들을 발견할 수 있었다.

다중원산지와 가격정보가 청바지 상표태도와 제품평가에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Multiple Country-of-Origin Cues and Price Information on Attitude toward the Brard and Evaluation of Jean Products)

  • As imported fashion products are increasing in the marketplace, country of origin information becomes a powerful product cue that can be used to gain competitive advantages of fashion brands. This study assessed the impact of multiple country of o.igin information(origin of brand and origin of production) on attitude toward the brand and product evaluation. Especially, the influence product price level was also examined. Jean was used as product stimuli and students were respondents for the empirical study. Results of this study affirmed the importance of country of brand origin and price information in brand attitude formation and product evaluation. Country of brand origin information and interaction effects of brand origin-price were significant for brand attitude formation. Country of brand origin and price information had significant influence on evaluation of Jean products.

지자기 센서를 이용한 양이 보청기의 방향성 이득 조절 연구 (Automatic Directional-gain Control for Binaural Hearing Aids using Geomagnetic Sensors)

  • Binaural hearing aids with a voice transmitter have been widely used to enhance sound quality in noisy environment. However, this system has a limitation on sound-source localization. In this study, we investigated automatic directional-gain control method using geomagnetic sensors to provide directional information to binaural hearing aid user. The loudness gains of two hearing aids were differently controlled based on the directional information between a speaker position and a viewing direction of hearing aids user. This relative directional information was measured by two geomagnetic sensors on hearing aids user and a speaker. The results showed that the loudness gains were accurately controlled and could provide directional information based on the cue of interaural level differences.

  • 본 논문은 방송 및 통신 환경을 이용한 멀티채널 음향 재생 환경에서 다수 객체의 음상 정위를 보다 효과적이고 효율적으로 하기 위한 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 전송되는 정보의 양을 최소화 하면서도 재생되는 음향공간에서는 다수의 음향 객체들이 충실하게 재생되어 자연스러운 음향공간이 재현할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고가 한다. 기존 방법의 경우, 전송 선로를 통해 음원을 압축하여 전송하기 위해서는 먼저 멀티채널 신호를 합한 모노신호와 채널 신호사이의 음량차이(ICLD), 시간지연 차이(ICTD), 상관도(ICC)등을 전송하는 양귀단서 신호화 기술(Binaural Cue Coding)을 이용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 멀티채널 음원을 분석하여, 음원의 가상 위치정보를 벡터적으로 표현하고, 이 위치벡터와 멀티채널 음원을 하나의 모노 음원으로 다운 믹스한 신호를 전송함으로써 전송 효율을 극대화 한 압축 재생 방법을 제시한다.

  • Color segmentation takes great attentions since a color is an effective and robust visual cue for characterizing one object from other objects. Color segmentation is, however, suffered from color variation induced from irregular illumination changes. This paper proposes a reliable color modeling approach in HSI (Hue-Saturation-Intensity) rotor space considering intensity information by adopting B-spline curve fitting to make a mathematical model for statistical characteristics of a color with respect to brightness. It is based on the fact that color distribution of a single-colored object is not invariant with respect to brightness variations even in HS (Hue-Saturation) plane. The proposed approach is applied for the segmentation of human skin areas successfully under various illumination conditions.

  • This paper presents the method for detection and tracking of multiple humans robustly in mobile platform. The perception of human is performed in real time through the processing of images acquired from a moving stereo vision system. We performed multi-cue integration such as human shape, skin color and depth information to detect and track each human in moving background scene. Human shape is measured by edge-based template matching on distance transformed image. Improving robustness for human detection, we apply the human face skin color in HSV color space.   • Virtual view synthesis is essential for 3DTV systems, which utilizes the motion parallax cue. In this paper, we propose a multi-step view synthesis algorithm to efficiently reconstruct an arbitrary view from limited number of known views of a 3D scene. We describe an efficient image rectification procedure which guarantees that an interpolation process produce valid views. This rectification method can deal with all possible camera motions. The idea consists of using a polar parameterization of the image around the epipole. Then, to generate intermediate views, we use an efficient dense disparity estimation algorithm considering features of stereo image pairs. Main concepts of the algorithm are based on the region dividing bidirectional pixel matching. The estimated disparities are used to synthesize intermediate view of stereo images. We use computer simulation to show the result of the proposed algorithm.

Cellular IP 핸드오프 성능개선 (An Enhanced Handoff Mechanism for Cellular IP)

  • 핸드오프는 무선 데이터 네트웍에서 TCP 성능을 저하시키는 가장 중요한 요인중 하나이다. 본 논문에서 패킷의 유신과, 중복이 없는 핸드오프 방법인 LPM(Last Packet Marking)을 제시한다. LPM은 Cellular IP 세미소프트 핸드오프를 개선한 방법으로 이동호스트에게 안전한 핸드오프 시점 알려준다. 새고 소개한 제어 패킷은 SPM(Semisoft reply Message) 하나이다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 실험에서 LPM 방법은 패킷의 중복이나 유신이 없어서 TCP의 성능을 상당히 향상시켰다.

  • MPEG Surround is an audio coding technology that represents multi-channel audio signal with downmixed audio signal(s) and very low bitrate side information based on Binaural Cue Coding. The side information consists of Inter-Channel Level Difference, Inter-Channel Correlation, and payloads. These two parameters are correspondent to the well-known spatial parameters in psycho-acoustics, Inter-aural Level Difference (ILD) and Inter-Aural Cross Correlation (IACC). Though ICLD is to provide perceptually equivalent ILD to the listener, however, the ILD of the original multi-channel audio signal and that of the MPEG Surround encoded signal was different. The difference between two ILD values is defined as ILD Distortion (ILDD). This paper provides how ILDD can be applied to enhance sound quality in MPEG Surround and how much ILDD is decreased.

유용한 온라인 리뷰에서 어느 것이 더 중요한가? 휴리스틱-체계적 모델 관점 (Which is More Important in Useful Online Review? Heuristic-Systematic Model Perspective)

  • Hotel consumers tend to rely on online reviews to reduce the risk to hotel products when they book hotel rooms because hotel products are high-risk products due to their intangibility. However, the development of ICT has caused information load, and it is an important issue to be perceived as useful information to consumer because a large amount of information complicates the decision making process of consumers. Drawn from Heuristic-Systematic Model(HSM), the present study explored the role of heuristic and systematic cues composing an online review influencing consumers' perception of hotel online reviews. More specifically, this study identified reviewers' identity, level of the reviewer, review star ratings, and attached hotel photo as heuristic cue, while review length, cognitive level of review and negativity in review as systematic cues. The binary logistic regression was adopted for analysis. This study found that only systematic cues of online review were found to affect the usefulness of it. Moreover, we preceded further study examining the moderating effect of seasonality in the relationships between systematic cues and usefulness.
