본 연구의 목적은 수작업으로 하는 수서업무의 문제해결을 위해 전산화시스템을 설계하여 수행하므로서, 도서관에서 좀 더 향상된 서비스 제공을 하기 위함이고, 아울러 도서관 전산화를 계획하고 있는 도서관 경영자 및 실무자에게 도움을 주고자 하는 것이다. 전산화시스템에서는 온라인 처리를 전제로 데이터 파일 및 서브시스템을 설계하였으며, 동 전산화시스템으로 부터 얻은 결과가 제시되었다.

This paper describes the design of a real time traffic data acquisition system using loop detector and piezzo sensor. Loop detector is the cheapest method to measure the speed and piezzo is used to detect the vehicle axle information. A ISA slot based I/O board is designed for data acquisition and PC process the raw traffic data and transfer the data to the host system. Simulation kit is designed with toy car kits. simulated loop detector and piezzo sensor. The data acquisition system collects up to 10 lane highway traffic data such as vehicle count. speed. length axle count. distance between the axles. The data is processed to generate traffic count, vehicle classification, which are to be used for ITS. The system architecture and simulation data is included and the system will be tested for field operation.

In this paper, we propose a data envelopment analysis (DEA) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) integrated model to improve the selection process in the acquisition of a weapon system which is the key component to the success of the project. In particular, we applied DEA in the first stage to choose a frontier group among the candidates in the selection process of the next-generation fighter system (the 3rd FX) in Korea. Then, by using the Delphi technique, we surveyed military experts and applied AHP to determine the best choice among the candidates. The results of the study match the actual decision made by the Korean government in the weapon system acquisition. The results of the proposed DEA-AHP integrated method in the selection of the next-generation fighter systems in Korea demonstrate the usefulness of the method. In this paper, we also discuss the future implications of the proposed model.

In this paper, the acquisition performance of a receiver that utilizes a non-coherent digital correlator is analyzed. In order to analyze the acquisition performance, the probability density function of a receiver output random variable has been derived approximately. Using this function, the acquisition performance of the coarse acquisition code receiver in a global positioning system is analyzed.

In this paper, a fast pseudo-noise (PN) code acquisition with novel adaptive architecture is presented in direct-sequence spread- spectrum (DS-SS) systems. Since an existing acquisition system has a fixed correlation tap size and threshold value, this system cannot adapt to various mobile communication environments and results in a low detection probability or a high false alarm rate and long acquisition time. Therefore, if a correlation tap size and a threshold value can be controlled adaptively according to received signals, problems of ail existing system will be solved. The system parameter varies adaptively by using constant false alarm rate (CFAR) algorithm well known in a field of detection and proposed signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) measurement system. By deriving formulas of the proposed system, the performance is analyzed.

본 논문에서는 direct sequence(DS) 방식을 이용한 spread spectrum system에 사용할 수 있는 빠른 초기 동기 방법을 제안하였다. 수식적인 모델을 세우고 해석을 한 후 computer simulation을 거쳐 제안된 system의 성능을 분석하여 sliding correlator에 비해 우수함을 입증하였다. 입력 신호의 signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)가 -18dB에서 초기 동기 시간이 45ms 소요되었다. 이 방법의 hardsware 구현과 실험 결과도 설명하였다.

대양을 운항하는 선박에 해양환경정보를 제공하기 위한 MEIS(Marine Environmental Information System)의 개념설계를 수행하였다. MEIS는 해양환경 원시정보의 원격 취득시스템과 이를 가공하여 선박운항에 유용한 정보를 추출하는 처리시스템으로 구성되며, 정보의 전송을 위해 위성통신을 이용한다. 취득시스템 효율성은 활용하는 원격 해양정보의 양과 시간적 신속성에 좌우되며, 처리시스템의 효율성은 환경정보 해석기술의 다양성과 우수성에 의해 결정된다.

In this paper, an adaptive packet acquisition performance of a CDMA/TDD packet radio system is analyzed and simulated in a frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel. The frequency-selective fading process is assumed to be WSSUS model which is typical for a satellite and a mobile radio communications. The performance is evaluated in terms of packet error probability. In this adaptive packet acquisition scheme, an auxiliary training sequence is placed within data packet to estimate time-varying channel state. From the simulation results, it is confirmed that the proposed acquisition scheme significantly improves packet error performance compared to the conventional fixed acquisition scheme, especially, for the case of low Doppler frequency. The analysis in this paper can be applied to the design of a CDMA/TDD packet radio system.

본 연구는 도서관에서의 비도서자료의 활용과 비도서자료에 대한 사서들의 인식 및 의견을 조사하였다. 설문지를 사용하여 129개의 데이터를 한국사회과학정보자료기관협의회의 31개 회원도서관과 98명의 사서로부터 수집하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 도서관에서의 비도서자료의 활용은 매우 중요하다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 따라서 비도서자료의 활용은 좀더 활성화하기 위한 서지통정을 제안하였다.
