온실 난방부하 산정방법의 검증 및 틈새환기와 지중전열의 영향 분석 (Validation of Load Calculation Method for Greenhouse Heating Design and Analysis of the Influence of Infiltration Loss and Ground Heat Exchange)

  • 원예시설의 환경설계 중 난방부하 산정방법에 대한 검증을 위하여, 대규모 플라스틱 온실에서 총난방부하와 틈새환기율, 지중전열량을 계측하여 계산결과와 비교 분석하였고, 지중전열 및 틈새환기가 온실의 난방부하에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 실험기간 동안 실내기온은 $13.3{\pm}1.2^{\circ}C$, 실외 기온은 $-9.4{\sim}+7.2^{\circ}C$의 범위를 보였으며, 우리나라의 난방 설계 외기온 범위에서 유효한 것으로 확인하였다. 가스트레이서법으로 측정한 틈새환기율은 평균 $0.245h^{-1}$로 나타났다. 온실의 피복면적에 일정한 환기전열계수값을 사용하는 방법은 온실의 규모에 따라서 문제가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 환기전열부하는 온실의 체적과 틈새환기율을 이용하는 방법이 합리적인 것으로 판단된다. 온실 중앙에서 측정한 지중열류는 실내외 기온차에 따라 음으로 약간 증가하는 경향을 보이고, 온실 측면에서 측정한 지중열류는 실내외 기온차에 따라 양으로 크게 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 계측 결과를 바탕으로 온실의 외주부를 통한 열손실 개념을 도입한 새로운 지중전열부하 산정 방법을 개발하였으며, 검증결과 잘 일치하는 것으로 나타났다. 관류열부하는 대체로 실내외 기온차에 비례하는 것으로 나타났으나, 열관류율은 작아지는 경향을 보였다. 따라서 관류열부하 산정시 설계조건에 따라 열관류율의 선택에 주의를 기울여야 할 것으로 판단된다. 실험온실의 열관류율은 평균 $2.73W{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}C^{-1}$로 단일피복의 플라스틱 온실 대비 60%의 열절감율을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 전체 난방부하 중에서 관류열부하가 84.7~95.4%, 환기전열부하가 4.4~9.5%, 지중전열부하가 -0.2~+6.3%를 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 관류열부하는 실내외 기온차가 낮은 그룹에서 더 큰 비율을 차지하고, 환기전열 부하는 실내외 기온차가 높은 그룹에서 더 큰 비율을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 지중전열부하의 경우 실내외 기온차가 낮은 그룹에서는 부하를 경감시키는 방향으로 작용하고, 실내외 기온차에 따라 부하를 증가시키거나 경감시키는 방향으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났으므로 이 기준 온도차의 선택이 중요한 것으로 판단된다. 지중전열부하에 비하여는 환기전열부하가 더 큰 비중을 차지하므로 에너지 절감을 위해서는 틈새환기율을 줄일 수 있는 대책이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

  • Low pressure casting process for unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced aluminum (UD-CF/Al) composites which is an infiltration route of molten Al into porous UD-CF preform has been a cost-effective way to obtain metal matrix composites (MMCs) but, easy to cause non-uniform fiber distribution as CF clustering. Such clustered CFs have been a problem to decrease the density and thermal conductivity (TC) of composites, due to the existence of pores in the clustered area. To obtain high thermal performance composites for heat-sink application, the relationship between fiber distribution and porosity has to be clearly investigated. In this study, the CF distribution was evaluated with quantification approach by using two-dimensional spatial distribution method as local number 2-dimension (LN2D) analysis. Note that the CFs distribution in composites sensitively changed by sizes of Cu bridging particles between the CFs added in the UD-CF preform fabrication stage, and influenced on only $LN2D_{var}$ values.

In vivo Monitoring of the Incorporation of Chemicals into Cucumber end Rice Leaves by Chlorophyll Fluorescence Imaging

  • Chlorophyll (Chl) fluorescence imaging was used to investigate the effectiveness of in vivo incorporation methods for two chemicals, 3-(3',4'-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea (DCMU) and methyl viologen (MV) in rice, a monocot, and cucumber, a dicot, leaves. four different methods (vacuum infiltration, floating, transpiration-aided incorporation through petiole and spraying) were compared, and $F_i$ and $F_v$/$F_m$ were chosen for the imaging of the DCMU- and MV-treated leaves, respectively. The effects of the chemicals in plants were generally heterogeneous over the whole leaf area. Moreover, the effectiveness of the treatment of a chemical in plant leaves was dependent on chemical species, plant species, concentration of the chemical, the treatment method, the duration of the treatment, the existence of light and detergent, etc. In conclusion, we suggest that to achieve the proposed effects of chemicals in plants for an actual experiment, these factors must be considered before the chemical treatment, and the best method for the treatment of the chemicals tested was floating and vacuum infiltration in the dicot and the monocot leaves, respectively, as drawn from Chl fluorescence imaging analysis.

  • SiC whisker and $Al_2O_3-SiO_2$ short fiber reinforced AC8A, AC8B and AC8B(J) marix composites were fabricated by squeeze casting method. Preform deformation, change of reinforcement volumefraction and formation of macro-segregation in two composites were investigated by using micro Vickers hardness test, analysis of macro and micro structures with OM, SEM and EDAX. $Al_2O_3-SiO_2$ short fiber preform manufactured with 5% $SiO_2$ binder in this study was considerably deformed and cracked, nevertheless, the short fibers were distributed homogeneously in the composites. In SiC whisker reinforced composites, on the other hand, preform deforming and cracking were not occurred, however, macro segregation zone formed along the infiltration routes by interface reaction during infiltration of molten metal into the preform was observed at center-low area in the composites. The decrease of hardness in the macro segregation zone resulted from the depletion of Si and Mg atoms.

도시유역의 물순환 및 수질 개선을 위한 저영향개발 시설의 비용 효율 분석 (Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Low-Impact Development Facilities to Improve Hydrologic Cycle and Water Quality in Urban Watershed)

  • As urbanization and impermeable areas have increased, stormwater and non-point pollutants entering the stream have increased. Additionally, in the case of the old town comprising a combined sewer pipe system, there is a problem of stream water pollution caused by the combined sewer overflow. To resolve this problem, many cities globally are pursuing an environmentally friendly low impact development strategy that can infiltrate, evaporate, and store rainwater. This study analyzed the expected effects and efficiency when the LID facility was installed as a measure to improve hydrologic cycle and water quality in the Oncheon stream in Busan. The EPA-SWMM, previously calibrated for hydrological and water quality parameters, was used, and standard parameters of the LID facilities supported by the EPA-SWMM were set. Benchmarking the green infrastructure plan in New York City, USA, has created various installation scenarios for the LID facilities in the Oncheon stream drainage area. The installation and maintenance cost of the LID facility for scenarios were estimated, and the effect of each LID facility was analyzed through a long-term EPA-SWMM simulation. Among the applied LID facilities, the infiltration trench showed the best effect, and the bio-retention cell and permeable pavement system followed. Conversely, in terms of cost-efficiency, the permeable pavement systems showed the best efficiency, followed by the infiltration trenches and bio-retention cells.

외기 중 미세먼지의 공동주택 실내 유입에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Infiltration of Outdoor Particulate Matter into Apartment Buildings)

  • Recently, concentration of fine and ultra-fine particulate matter(PM) has been increased in KOREA. The increase of PM in KOREA is due to increase of domestic industries and yellow dust from china. PM is known to cause diseases such as dyspnoea, asthma, arrhythmia. Since PM is harmful to human, KOREA Ministry of Environment(ME) warns people to stay indoors when the outdoor PM concentration is high. However, prior studies has shown that indoor PM concentration can be relatively high when outdoor PM concentration is high due to infiltration of PM into buildings though leakage areas. In this study, airtightness, indoor and outdoor pressure difference and PM 2.5 & 10 concentration were measured in an apartment complex to observe PM infiltrating into building. Field measurement was conducted in newly-built apartment buildings to avoid the influence of indoor PM which can be generated by residents. The airtightness test was conducted to identify the leakage areas of the apartment, such as electric outlets and supply/exhaust diffusers. The airtightness test result showed that the air leakage area of the building was dominant in buildings envelop. According to indoor and outdoor pressure difference measurement result and PM concentration measurement result, it can be concluded that outdoor PM can infiltrate into indoor by leakage areas when wind is blown toward the apartment. As a result, pressure difference formed by the external weather condition and architectural characteristics such as the airtightness in building can influence PM to infiltrate into buildings. In further studies, I/O ratio, stack-effect, infiltration and penetration factor will be considered.

  • 도시유역 하수처리장의 효율을 저감시키는 가장 큰 요인은 하수관내에 발생하는 불명수(Inflow /Infiltration, Ⅰ/Ⅰ)이다. 불명수 저감방안 수립을 위해서는 관로 개개 시설에 대한 조사를 통해 불명수 유입량을 산정해야 한다 그러나, 국내의 경우 재정적, 시간적 한계로 인해 표본조사 결과를 과업대상 전지역에 확대 적용하여 불명수 저감방안을 수 립하고 있다. 이러한 국내의 불명수 산정 방법은 사업대상 전지역의 불명수 총량에 따른 고려만 이루어질 뿐, 관로개개 시설에 대한 불명수 발생량의 고려가 이루어지지 않는 문제점을 나타낸다. 본 연구에서는 도시유역의 유출시스템에서의 불명수량 산정모형을 개발하여 관로 개개 시설에서의 불명수 발생량을 추정하여 불명수 저감방안 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다. 전체 대상지역에 대한 관측 불명수량은 CCTV 및 육안조사를 통해 조사된 관거별 결함 상태에 따라 관거별로 분배된다. 이때, 결함 항목별 가중치는 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 기법을 통해 산정 하였으며, 발생 오차를 고려하기 위하여 MCS(Monte Carlo Simulation) 방법을 사용하여 불확실성 분석을 수행하였다.

심외막 지방의 정량분석 (Quantitative Analysis of Epicardial fat)

  • Subepicardial space is one of the regions in which fat in moderate amount is normally deposited. When excess deposits of epicardial fat occur, penetration or infiltration of fat into the connective tissues between muscle bundles is observed. In some cases with very extensive involvement of epicardial fat,myocardial insufficiency and conduction system defect such as heart block have been implicated. More fat is deposited over the right ventricle than over left and the anterior surface contains more fat than dose the posterior surface. We studied 40 patients who underwent open heart surgery under the cardiopulmonary bypass. This study was designed to evaluate the percentage of the area of epicardial fat of the right ventricular anterior surface, which is more accessible area during the operative procedure. Other variables included thickness of subcutanous tissue of anterior chest wall, the ratio of waist to hip circumference, body weight and age. In conclusion, the amount of the epicardial fat correlates with thickness of the subcutaneous fat of the anterior chest wall and simple linear regression analysis indicates good correlation with body weight. Increased age results in large amount of epicardial fat.

XP-SWMM을 이용한 도시화 유역에서의 유출 관리 방안 연구 (Management Scheme of Urbanization Runoff Using XP-SWMM)

  • 최근 급격한 인구증가와 산업화, 도시화로 포장지역의 증가에 따른 불투수지역의 증가로 유역의 유출 특성의 변화를 유발시키고 있다. 도시화 유역의 효율적인 관리를 위해서는 유역에 내할 정확할 지형인자 및 수문 관련 인자들을 추출해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 GIS와 XP-SWMM을 이용하여 안양천유역의 유출분석을 수행하였다. 안양천 유역을 GIS를 이용하여 13개의 소유역으로 분할하고 입력자료를 구축하였다. GIS를 이용하여 지형도로부터 각각의 소유역에 대하여 면적, 경사도, 폭과 하천 각 구간의 길이, 경사도를 얻었고, 토지이용도와 토양도로부터 불투수비, 토지이용상태, 침투능에 내한 정보를 얻었다. 여기서 얻은 결과를 토대로, 안양천 유역에 도시유출 모형인 XP-SWMM을 적용하여 도시화유역의 관리방안을 제시하였다.

  • Seals in universal joint bearing are a important component reinforcing lubrication performance by holding a lubricant and preventing infiltration of dust, moisture, etc. There is a great difference in seal performance according to seal shape and bonding position. Therefore, in this study, as for the lib type seal and O-ring type seal, FEM analysis are conducted using Mooney-Rivlin Model. The results are indicate that O-ring having higher contact stress and larger contact area than lib type is more profitable.
