  • 본 내용은 2010년 3월 14일부터 3월 20일까지 세계 3대 식품클러스터인 네덜란드 와게닝겐 대학 연구센터(Wageningen UR)와 Food Valley를 방문하여 선진농업 가공기술 현황을 조사하고, 관련분야 연구자 그룹과 인프라 구성을 추진한 것이다. 또한 유럽의 독일과 네덜란드 지역의 식문화 동향 조사와 유형별 쌀 가공식품 수집 등을 통하여 향후 수출상품화 제품개발에 접목하고자 한다.

Exploring the Triple Helix Innovation System in the Dutch Food Cluster(Food Valley) (네덜란드 라흐닝언 식품산업 클리스터(푸드밸리)의 트리플 힐릭스 혁신체계)

  • This paper explores the triple helix innovation system in Food Valley in the Netherlands which is considered one of the most innovative food clusters in the world. The triple helix approach has been so far little tackled in the literature on innovation system and cluster. However, tills approach can be a useful tool for understanding the dynamic characters and knowledge transfer mechanism of industrial cluster. On the basis of an in-depth case study, we argue that Food Valley has evolved through four circles of growth in the triple helix innovation system. From the mid-2000s onward, it is seen that Food Valley has been on the stabilized circle in the triple helix system of innovation. Centered upon Wageningen UR, local universities and research centers play a pivotal role in building the triple helix innovation system. To cope with radical changes in markets and technology since the late 1980s, local firms have made a great deal of effort to reinforce the university-industry partnership. On the other hand, government agencies have played a critical role for establishing institutional milieu that facilitate university-industry partnerships and local knowledge transfer and spillover.

  • Lately, the importance of the marin industry is growing as current status and future trend. This change is being prompted for the development of the maritime industry such as resource depletion, climate change, the Arctic opens. The demand of new marine industry with IT and convergence is gradually increasing. A new understanding of the importance of the marine industry is needed. Therefore, the systematic classification system for the marin industry building for the marin industry is to assess the marine industry activity levels at the national level.

  • Spanish missionaries started to grow vine grapes and make wines in California 230 years ago. Earlier pioneers of the land started to do the same works for commercial purposes 130 years ago. Now California became one of the most important wine making places of the world. The quality of California wines in fact have been acknowledged as the best in the world by being ranked on the top in international wine tasting competition, such as Paris Tasting. A large wine cluster, consisted of grape growing, wine making, wine tours, and research and education, has been created in the area centered by Napa and Sonoma, California. In this context, this paper examines the process of formulating the cluster, factors contributing the success, articulates core actors, and draws policy and theoretical implications. It concludes that innovative actors, such as winery founders, local universities, and business organizations, have played key roles in establishing the California wine cluster.

  • Recently, the fresh logistics recognizes to be created the high value-added part for logistics companies. Because the fresh logistics, which provides the system of temperature control and sanitary management, is able to be created more better high value-added products than the existed logistics system. In this research, we suggest the fresh logistics cluster for the proposal of activation in the field of food industry, which apply good activity for fresh logistics, and show the present condition and matters domestic fresh logistics market. This study did analyze the status & volume of perishable cargo which come from the imported Chinese fresh products representatively, at Incheon port and assume to build the fresh logistics cluster complex at Songdo FEZ, which is available developing and located near by Incheon port. The actual intensive study should be progressed for Korean logistics companies in order to optimize to the suitable fresh logistics system, need to set up the policy and management of statistical data concerning fresh logistics system.

  • Regional innovation cluster is closely related to promoting innovations through activities for knowledge sharing and exchanges among organizations in an adjacent regional context. However, performance of activities for knowledge sharing and exchanges are basically influenced by cultural characteristics of the industries or regions where the organization belongs to. Therefore, knowledge management strategies in a unit of a regional cluster need to consider the cultural characteristics of an industry or region and in turn different activities need to be adopted according to cultural characteristics. This study explores the relationship between cultural differences and the performance of the activities to promote knowledge exchanges in a regional innovation cluster. For this study, factors reflecting cultural characteristics of diverse industries and regions were extracted and the relationships with the performance of the activities promoting inter-organizational knowledge exchanges were analyzed through statistical method.

An analysis of the Factors of Moving in and Activation Strategies for Incheon Cold-Chain Cluster using LNG cold energy (LNG 냉열을 활용한 인천항 냉동·냉장 클러스터 입주요인 분석 및 활성화 방안 연구)

  • The construction of a "cold-chain cluster," which is a complex of cold-storage warehouses is emerging as an issue in the logistics industry. The Incheon Port Authority, in partnership with Korea Gas Corporation, is carrying out a project to build a cold-storage cluster using cold energy generated in the Songdo LNG receiving terminal. This study proposes a method of activating the cold-storage cluster using the CFPR methodology. An analysis of major factors showed that the most important factor was stability and profitability, which scored 0.281. For sub-factors, sustainable trade volume was the highest in importance, followed by rent level, the sustainability of LNG cold energy utilization technology, competition with general cold-storage warehouses, and exclusion of duplicate investments in facilities. For the future study, the evaluation of complex of cold-storage warehouses using major factors drawn out from this study is needed.

Evolutionary Computation-based Hybird Clustring Technique for Manufacuring Time Series Data (제조 시계열 데이터를 위한 진화 연산 기반의 하이브리드 클러스터링 기법)

  • Although the manufacturing time series data clustering technique is an important grouping solution in the field of detecting and improving manufacturing large data-based equipment and process defects, it has a disadvantage of low accuracy when applying the existing static data target clustering technique to time series data. In this paper, an evolutionary computation-based time series cluster analysis approach is presented to improve the coherence of existing clustering techniques. To this end, first, the image shape resulting from the manufacturing process is converted into one-dimensional time series data using linear scanning, and the optimal sub-clusters for hierarchical cluster analysis and split cluster analysis are derived based on the Pearson distance metric as the target of the transformation data. Finally, by using a genetic algorithm, an optimal cluster combination with minimal similarity is derived for the two cluster analysis results. And the performance superiority of the proposed clustering is verified by comparing the performance with the existing clustering technique for the actual manufacturing process image.

  • Corporate business clusters create a borderless business network through value chains and value creation activities. Clusters in the IT sector are crossing regional boundaries because of their rapid technological development and short product life cycle. To investigate this phenomenon, we examined the value activities of IT companies. As a result, the global expansion of the case companies was limited, but they had business clusters that exceeded the regional boundaries. However, because the order of business clusters is not advanced, value activities are focused on productivity rather than innovation. Given the rapidly evolving nature of IT, it is necessary to evolve into a business cluster that can create new value. Companies must design and implement value-creating processes to develop new technologies or enter new markets, which can lead to cluster growth.   • Industrial integration is the innovative embodiment of regional economic theory. The promotion of industrial integration is conducive to improving the scale effect and spillover effect of the industry. Also, it has the power to radiate, drive, and lead the innovation and development of the whole industrial cluster. The purpose of this paper was to identify the most suitable development pattern of the ice-snow sports tourism industry in Zhangjiakou, one of the host cities of the 2022 Winter Olympics. This study combs the characteristics of the development of the ice-snow sports industry, and analyzes the current situation of the industry in Zhangjiakou based on the SWOT-AHP method. This paper argues that the integrated industry is the most suitable development pattern for the promotion of the ice-snow culture industry in Zhangjiakou. The following content will present effective countermeasures to accelerate the development of the ice-snow culture industry integration in Zhangjiakou from three aspects: industrial resource integration, industrial chain layout, and scientific and technological innovation. The IT live simulation technique facilitates identifying some vital elements during the data collection.
