  • In complex industrial world, many companies make every effort to analyze their competition capability through various performance evaluation tools to cope with rapidly changing business environment. Among evaluation tools the balanced scorecard (BSC), put forward by Kaplan and Norton in 1992, is a strategic performance management tool for measuring whether the smaller-scale operational activities of a company are aligned with its larger-scale objectives in terms of vision and strategy. The BSC tool offers a comparative advantage over others to evaluate the objective achievement of a company by linking its strategic objectives with operational KPI. In this paper, we introduce a case that the BSC performance evaluation system was implemented based on product data management and applied it to the business process. Specially, we shows a implementation procedure to derive discipline-specific topics and key performance metrics.

  • Thermal deformation of Digital Television effect friction noise directly. However there was no methods to find and to solve the thermal friction noise which is huge problem in Digital Television In this study, to figure out occurrence cause of friction noise of the product, we measured thermal deformation of the product to organize a triggering device united with Laser Doppler Vibrometer(LDV) which turned occurrence moment of thermal friction noise into a possibility to measure. In conclusion, we could offer an effective information of design, and ensured ESPI(Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry) measure technique which is more detailed than the past way.

  • Recently, The economic growth has increased carbon dioxide emissions. so, It is caused by social problem to environmental damage and human health due to global warming. Accordingly, The method solution is to the amount of cement and to use industrial by-product such as Blast furnace slag, Fly Ash, and Red-mud. Thus, The purpose of this study is to analyze the physical property of concrete with red-mud. So, this study carries out the basic performance test of concrete such as, air content, slump, and compressive strength. In this work test is conducted according to sequence of materials using concrete twin mixer.

  • Now, many studies of industrial field are focusing on the whole optimization of SCM. But, the reason for making simultaneity of the whole system of SCM difficult is reduced scale of studies on ordering area in SCM reducing the complexity. It's an important issue how to allocate orders in the environment of many suppliers under special situation. Through this thesis, this research intends to expect systematic and arranged supply of distribution area which can make a decision while allocating product orders and quantity and maintaining service standard suggested by minimizing total purchase costs.

  • Objective : The present study was intended to develop a design ideation and evaluation process for the development of ecology-, ergonomics-, and economy-friendly ($E^3$-friendly) products. Background : Due to increasing social and legal requirements on global sustainability, manufacturing companies have made more efforts ever than before for the development of eco-friendly products. However, most eco-friendly products are often criticized due to lacking ergonomic and/or economic considerations. Method : An $E^3$-friendly product development process consisting of (1) survey of eco-friendly products, (2) characterization of eco-friendly products, (3) design ideation for $E^3$-friendly product, and (4) design idea evaluation for $E^3$-friendliness was established and applied to the development of a novel product which supports drinking of daily recommended amount of water. Results : Fifty-five design characteristics were identified by a survey of forty eco-friendly products and incorporated into the proposed ideation and evaluation process. New ideas and design changes were developed effectively using the proposed development process for a novel $E^3$-friendly bottle for support of water drinking. Conclusion : The proposed process was found effective for the development of eco-friendly design ideas and improvements. Application : The proposed system would be of use to develop better design ideas having market competitiveness.

Education and Training of Product Data Analytics using Product Data Management System (PDM 시스템을 활용한 Product Data Analytics 교육 훈련)

  • Product data analytics (PDA) is a data-driven analysis method that uses product data management (PDM) databases as its operational data. It aims to understand and evaluate product development processes indirectly through the analysis of product data from the PDM databases. To educate and train PDA efficiently, this study proposed an approach that employs courses for both product development and PDA in a class. The participant group for product development provides a PDM database as a result of their product development activities, and the other group for PDA analyses the PDM database and provides analysis result to the product development group who can explain causes of the result. The collaboration between the two groups can enhance the efficiency of the education and training course on PDA. This study also includes an application example of the approach to a graduate class on PDA and discussion of its result.

Assistive Product Users' Need Analysis on Job Competence of Assistive Product Specialist (복지용구 전문가 직무 역량에 대한 복지용구 이용자 요구도 분석)

  • As the elderly population grows, the use of assistive products that facilitate independent living by the elderly is increasing. Assistive product specialists are important to selecting the correct assistive products. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp the needs of assistive product users. This study was conducted to identify the key tasks that should be prioritized through analysis of the needs of assistive product users of assistive product specialist's job competence Questionnaires were administered to 84 assistive product users in person and by mail. The questionnaire was designed to investigate the importance of work and educational needs based on the job of the assistive product specialist. Based on the results, the priorities of five duties and 12 key tasks were derived. The key tasks are highly demanded by assistive product users and must be included in the performance of the job of the assistive product specialist. Based on this study, it is expected that elderly people will gain independence and improve their quality of life in their homes and communities through an individualized approach.

Therefore, Ole Industry have to reconsider about PL, and prevent undesirable results. In the Industrial environment the product activities are recorded and cope with incidents.
