This research was conducted to develop an assessment measure of attitude toward engineering. Based upon related document research and case studies, we came up with operational definition and category of attitude toward engineering as well as questionnaires to assess. After consulting with specialists and studying on relevant documents, we changed some of the 60 questions developed in the first phase or added new ones. One hundred and nine students who major in engineering were questioned by the 40 questions selected in the second phase. Using SPSS 14.0K statistics program, various techniques were used including factor analysis, validity analysis and correlation analysis. And the level of significance of statistical verification was 0.05. The result is as follows: Based on fundamental aspect of the attitude, this research focused on 3 different variables: cognitive variable such as 'attitude toward engineering value', affective available such as 'general attitude toward engineering and attitude toward engineering study', Behavior available such as 'participation in engineering activity'. Therefore, as a subcategory, attitude toward engineering value is classified into value as study and job, social value and personal value, general attitude toward engineering and attitude toward engineering study are divided into self-concept, self-efficacy, awareness, interest and cooperation. Also, participation in engineering activity is classified into attitude toward engineering study. After applying this measurement to the field, we integrated self-concept into self-efficacy, omitting one independent factor in the question. Finally, through Verimax, we developed 'Instrument of Assessment the Attitude toward Engineering(IAAE)' which consists of 3 variables, 9 subcategories and 39 questions.

In this study, the catalytic activity of Mn-Phthalocyanine (Mn-PC) for VOCs (acetadehyde, propionaldehyde and toluene) combustion was determined. The reaction was carried out in a fixed bed reactor at the temperature range of $200{\sim}380^{\circ}C$. We investigated the physicochemical properties of Mn-PC before and after the pretreatment (air, $450^{\circ}C$, 1 hr, 60 cc/min) by TGA (Thermogravimetric Analyzer), BET (Brunauer Emmett Teller), EA (Elemental Analyzer), XRD (X-ray Diffractometer) and SEM (Scanning Electronic Microscope). By TGA analysis, 88 wt.% mass loss of Mn-PC was found at $419^{\circ}C$. The BET surface area of Mn-PC increased after the pretreatment. The decomposition and combustion of organic components in Mn-PC were observed by EA analysis. We also confirmed that Mn-PC had transformed into a new manganese oxide phase ($Mn_3O_4$) after the pretreatment by XRD analysis. By SEM analysis, many of the micropores generated during the pretreatment were found. The catalytic activity of Mn-PC with the pretreatment for propionaldehyde combustion was higher than that of $Mn_3O_4$ and fresh Mn-PC. It showed the catalytic activity of Mn-PC with the pretreatment for VOCs combustion by the order of toluene < acetadehyde < propionaldehyde.

Chambers in a continuous furnace were designed. A chamber consists of inlets and outlets of nitrogen gas which is used to discharge burned gas and heating pipes (HP) which are used to keep temperature of fired materials at $1,300^{\circ}C$. Design variables were numbers of inlets and outlets, distance between floor and lower HP ($h_1$), distance between lower HP and fired materials ($h_2$), distance between fired materials and upper HP ($h_3$), temperature of HP, numbers of HP and distance between HP. The numbers of inlets and outlets were determined so that nitrogen gas formed a laminar flow for efficient discharge. All other design variables were determined so that temperature of fired materials is as uniform as possible near $1,300^{\circ}C$. Chambers were produced and temperature was measured at 21 points using thermocouples. The largest deviation from $1,300^{\circ}C$ was less than ${\pm}2.2^{\circ}C$.

As semiconductor chips are on a small scale, large content and high integratation, it is essential to develop the device of pick and place at the system of the semiconductor test handler to ensure its high precision and durability. In this study, inspection equipment frame model of a semiconductor test handler picker was investigated by vibration analysis with the property of the natural frequency and harmonic response. As 3 kinds of analysis case models, the device of pick and place was located at the left side (Case 1), the center (Case 2) and the right side (Case 3) of the upper guideline. The range of natural frequencies until the 6th order on this frame model ranges from 80Hz to 500Hz. As the analysis of the harmonic response when the frame is resonant, Case 2 showed the maximum equivalent stress of 52.802 MPa more than Cases 1 or 3. Case 2 was the most intensive among the three cases. Using the analysis result of this study, the design of the frame model, which can be applied to the safe working environment of the system is believed to be possible.

The Purpose of this Study is to Identify the Learning Modules of the National Competency Standard (NCS) Related to the Information Systems Development Curriculum of 4-year Colleges, to Explore the Possibility of Applying NCS to the Curriculum, and to Examine Implications. The Importance of 26 Competency Units in the Applied SW Engineering of NCS was Compared by Area Experts Composed of 14 Information Systems Developers and Professors of 7 Universities who Teach Software Engineering Subjects Through the Hierarchical Analysis Process (AHP). The Results of the Study as Follows. First, the Relative Importance of the Competency Elements was in order of 'Confirming the Requirements', 'Checking the UI Requirements', 'Designing the Physical Data Repository', 'Testing Developer Integration', and 'Fixing Developer Defects'. Second, while the Entry and Intermediate Level Developer Group Determined that the Competency Elements Related to the IS Development Implementation Stage is more Important, the Advanced IS Developer Groups Consider the Competency Elements Related to the Theory-oriented Design Stage as Important Competency. In Addition, the Group of College Professors was Found to Choose all the Practical and Theoretical Competency Elements that Two Developers Groups Considered Important. Implications of the Study Suggested that the Job Performance Competence and Quality of Education Related to IS Development can be Enhanced.

This study obtained basic data for developing human resources with creativity convergence competency by surveying and analyzing the level of creativity convergence competency of university students. The study was conducted from October 1, 2019 to November 10, 2019 on university students attending the departments of computer science, pharmaceutical engineering, physical therapy and dental hygiene. The data from 296 students was finally used for this study, and IBM SPSS/Win statics 23.0 programs were used to analyze the data. Students who graduated from Seoul/Gyeonggi High School or those students with high undergraduate satisfaction were found to have high creativity convergence ability, and these results were statistically significant. Further, the group of students who had experience with Campus/Suburban competition, Global Competency training/ International exchange programs or the Capstone Design/Team Based Project showed high creativity convergence competency, and these results were statistically significant. Thus, this study identified the necessity of developing and operating various extra-curricular programs at education institutes in order to enhance students' creativity convergence capability.

Objectives: The aim of the present study was undertaken to investigate the association between communication for chemical hazard information and characteristics of occupational safety and health managers. Subjects and Methods: We surveyed 78 occupational safety and health managers(64 male and 14 female) in 78 chemical manufacturing plants. Data were obtained using a self-reported questionnaire about size and type of company, products, communication system for chemicals and work-related characteristics of occupational safety and health managers. All analyses in this study were performed using SPSS program 12.0. Results: 64.1% of the study participants were occupational health managers aged 39.3 years on average and were graduated from college and university around 90%. 30.0% and of them were majoring in chemistry (engineering chemistry), 18.0% occupational health, 16% nursing and 30.0% others. Occupational safety managers were aged 39.4 years on average, 42.9% of them were majoring in chemistry (engineering chemistry), 21.4% environmental engineering, 10.7% occupational safety and 25% others. 86% of occupational health managers and 71.4% of occupational safety managers were classified as office job. Over 94% of the hazards information for chemicals were delivered by occupational safety and health managers, but about 28.2% workers preferred outside experts who have a profound knowledge about occupational safety and health and understandable. Occupational safety and health managers and workers had difficulties in understanding toxicological information, hazards identification, stability/reactivity, composition/information on ingredients, physical/chemical properties and ecological information. On multiple logistic regression analysis for the 16 heading of material safety data sheet, content of material safety data sheet was significantly associated with education level (odds ratio=0.286, 95% confidence interval=0.105-0.780). The hazard identification (odds ratio=3.947, 95% confidence interval=1.092-14.271) and toxicological information (odds ratio=0.841, 95% confidence interval=0.705-0.998) were significantly associated with type of occupation. Conclusions: This finding implies that the education level, type of occupation and speciality of occupational safety and health managers may affects hazards information delivery.

The purpose of this study is to come up with a plan enhancing the effectiveness of vocational competency development projects based on Edutech, which was accelerated by the era of COVID-19 and the expansion of the Internet industry which was established by the fourth industrial revolution. For this purpose, we conducted literature review on existing remote training and carried out a survey to analyze the pros and cons, effectiveness, necessary functions, and improvements of diginal twin training equipment on employees of large and small enterprises as well as unemployed people including students. Through this, it is confirmed that digital twin training equipment has limitations in replacing real equipment at the current level, but if it is improved in the future, it can be used for various purposes as training equipment. In addition, through consultation with human resources personnel and educational expert, we suggested utilization plans on mixed training, national/private technical qualification, training for foreign workers, and military personnel social adaptation training as plans to exploiting digital twin training equipment in the field of vocational ability development.
The purpose of this study was to analyze engineering basic competencies about the time completed a course and educational needs of engineering college graduates. Survey method using questionnaire was the major research method of this study. A survey of 807 engineering college graduates was carried out. Questionnaire were made of the level of engineering basic competencies of engineering college graduates, its priorities of actual vocation and level of engineering basic competencies of major. Major results of the study, some recommendations for future researches were made as follows: The level of engineering basic competencies of engineering college graduates was 3.3 average(5 full marks). Engineering basic competencies that educational needs were high respectively, were an ability to communicate effectively, an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs, an ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams, an ability to understand global culture and cooperate internationally, an ability to design and conduct experiment as well as to analyze and interpret data, and an ability to engage in life-long learning.
The quality of school education is a key element for national education development. An important factor that determines the quality of school education is qualities of teachers who are in responsible for school education in the field. Therefore, it is necessary to hire competent teachers in the teacher appointment exam for the secondary school. This necessity is evident especially for vocational high schools and Meister high schools with the introduction of 2015-revised curriculum based on NCS that separates each three subjects, "Electrical, Electronics Communication" resulting in the change of question mechanism, which requires new designing of assessment and content area. So, this study analyzes curriculum in college of education for "Electrical", "Electronics", "Communication", 2015-revised curriculum based on NCS and the development of standards for teacher qualifications and assessment area and evaluation of teaching ability in the subjects of the teacher appointment exam, "Electrical, Electronics Communication" Engineering" in 2009. The assessment area and content elements of "Electrical", "Electronics", "Communication are extracted from the analyzed results and they are verified by experts' consultation and presented as follows; First, the assessment area and content elements of the "Electrical" subject were designed to evaluate the NCS - based 2015 revised curriculum by presenting the NCS learning module to the evaluation area and content element in the basic subject "Electrical and Electronics Practice". Second, the section of "Electronics" presented the assessment area and content elements applying the Electronic Circuit, basic subject of the NCS and it also added "Electromagnetics", which is the basic part of Electronics in the Application of Electromagnetic waves that could be applied to the assessment. Third, the assessment area and content elements of "Communication" consist of the communication-related practice that is based on "Electrical" and "Electronic", considering the characteristics of "Communication Engineering". In particular, "Electrical and Electronics practice" which adds network construction practice and communication-related practice makes it to be able to evaluate the communication-related practical education.
