Life and death often depend upon the efficiency of the hospital operations. By applying the inventory models to the Intravenous fluids subsystem, the Intravenous finds inventory operation can be systemized and made to run with less management effort and with far greater precision. And most important of all, this more precise form of control can help assure a greater degree of availability of critically needed items of the Intravenous fluids.

Estimation of warranty costs is an important application area of reliability engineering. On the manufacturer's point of view, exact estimation of warranty costs helps decisions on budgeting, product pricing, and A/S capacity planning, etc. We reviewed the state-of-the-art of existing models on warranty policies and suggested some future research directions.

A hybrid warranty policy for a repairable item is considered. Assuming that minimal repairs ar e performed for failures during warranty period, present worth of warranty cost is derived from a supplier's viewpoint. An optimal preventive periodic replacement policy for the case is also derived from a user's viewpoint Numerical examples are presented in order to explain the results.

In this study, the application of fuzzy hierarchical analysis for modeling the inspection tasks with respect to the the improtances of the cognitive factors is considered and it's validity in cognitive researches is confirmed. The results of the relative importance of various cognitive factors can be served as a selection criteria for efficient inspection performance and the information of skilled learning for a inspection training program.

This study examined the intention to use a nursing process application on a smart phone by nursing students who undertake clinical practices, and evaluated the application effect of this program. As research subjects, the study assessed juniors in the college of nursing in Daegu, who had undertaken field training in adult nursing in surgical wards from September 2012 to September 2013. The results showed that the intention to use nursing process application has a significant relationship with effort expectancy, social influence, and self-efficacy. In addition, the nursing process application applied to the research subjects has the largest list of diagnoses, interventions and outcomes regarding acute pain. In addition, the satisfaction with the use of the program was 4.35 points. Through this study, the application of the nursing process presents more opportunities for its use and training in the clinical practice field, and measures that can be applied easily regarding its utilization should be provided.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce Naming application model for sensor networks. Currently, sensor networks comprised of sensor nodes have provided an application range which could not function before. However, unlike general network, current sensor networks are designed to cooperate with major wireless-capable sensor devices with limited resources. Thus, exporting/importing between individual sensor and current sensor networks is very inefficient and unstable. Attribute, schema and DIT(Directory Information Tree) must be designed for sensor network using SN LDAP application model in order to maintain transparency and provide constant service in a situation of data defect. With the system explained as above, Naming application model is made to manage SN Fuzzy Query. It shall be more efficient and stable structure as long as Naming application using a virtual equation in a certain environment with information collected from sensor node is provided. In this paper, I would like to introduce SN Fuzzy LDAP model for sensor network by quick Naming method. Also, naming application which is possible for fuzzy query in a certain environment based on the system will be proved.

It is important to the periodic collection and analysis of the maintenance and management information of bridges for a more safe and efficient management of the bridges. To enhance the reliability and ease of acquisition of the bridge inspection information that is the basis for a strategy for safe and economic management using the bridge management system (BMS), this study develops a smart phone application for bridge inspection and ensures the actual applicability of the application. The developed application that is linked with the BMS for life-cycle management of bridges is possible to real-time query, modify and transmit of the maintenance-related information, and the application is able to greatly relieve the time and cost for the bridge inspection through the automatic creation of site inspection reports. The proposed method using the application is directly or indirectly expected to be very high effects of value improvement, such as ease of use, improved accuracy, sustainability of information, and future utilization, compared to conventional inspection method.
