A Study on the RAMS Analysis of Urban Maglev Train Control System (도시형자기부상열차 열차제어시스템 RAMS 분석에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, Urban maglev is applied to inductive-loop speed and position detection system for the top-level classification system for the entire system, and performed functional analysis On-board signal equipment, Wayside-signal equipment divided by the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety through analysis of the proposed formula. RDB and by applying a system service for each device was calculated to availability, safety analysis. The PHA, FMEA, HAZOP over the Top Event of the FTA is performed by presenting the results. This also shows approach methods and relative activities for project to accomplish and ensure the system requirements.

  • To deal with the major challenges of embedded sensor networks, we consider the use of magnetic fields as a means of reliably transferring both information and power to embedded sensors. We focus on a power allocation strategy for an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing system to maximize the transferred power under the required information capacity and total available power constraints. First, we consider the case of a co-receiver, where information and power can be extracted from the same signal. In this case, we find an optimal power allocation (OPA) and provide the upper bound of achievable transferred power and capacity pairs. However, the exact calculation of the OPA is computationally complex. Thus, we propose a low-complexity power reallocation algorithm. For practical consideration, we consider the case of a separated receiver (where information and power are transferred separately through different resources) and propose two heuristic power allocation algorithms. Through simulations using the Agilent Advanced Design System and Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator, we validate the magnetic-inductive channel characteristic. In addition, we show the performances of the proposed algorithms by providing achievable ${\eta}$-C regions.

  • 본 연구에서는 RLS(Rescursive Least Square) 추정 알고리즘을 이용하여 정전용량형 센서를 사용한 원격 RF 센서 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. IC 칩 형태의 원격 RF 센서 시스템이 가지는 구성의 복잡성 그리고 전력소모 문제를 해결하기 위해 보다 간단한 유도결합모델이 제안된다. 원격 RF 시스템은 페이저법을 이용하여 수학적으로 모델링되며, 모델기반의 RLS 알고리즘을 적용하기위해 시스템의 파라메타를 재배열한다. 오차 제곱합의 수렴특성을 가진 RLS 알고리즘을 이용하여 정전용량 파라메타를 추정한다. 실제 위상차를 측정하기 위해 Exclusive OR를 이용한 위상차 감지 장치를 제안한다. 센서로는 각종 환경 측정-습도, 압력 등-에 실제 활용되고 있는 정전용량형 센서를 채택한다. 잡음을 내포한 측정 데이터에 대한 추정 성능을 확인함으로써 그 유효성을 검증하고자 한다.

  • While the rules for an expert system are obtained through the interviewing with domain experts or by designer's own experience, these are not adequate for fuzzy controllers dealing quantitative control values. In this paper, by considering a state of the controlled system as a pattern, we propose a method to obtain the control rules by a statistical method. Namely, we propose a method to obtain the control rules by a statistical method. Namely, we propose an rule acquisition method that is objective, mechanical, and inductive inference using a cluster-seeking algorithm, or K-means clustering algorithm. To validate this study, we show an example of an IRIS control in a CAMCODER and analyse the rules acquired from 98 sample patterns consisting of 45 features.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선전력전송 시스템의 수신패드 측 전력변환회로 구성 방식에 따른 손실을 분석한다. 수신패드 측 전력변환회로를 DC-DC 컨버터로 구성한 구조와 bridgeless active rectifier (BAR)로 구성한 구조에 대해서 손실을 비교 분석한다. 수동소자에서의 손실은 수식적으로 계산하고, 전력용 반도체에서의 손실은 PSIM thermal module을 이용하여 분석한다.

  • A Voltage Bus Conditioner (VBC) is used to mitigate the voltage transients on a common power distribution bus. The VBC described here utilises inductive storage and unlike its counter part with capacitive storage, it can employ the entire stored energy towards transients' mitigation. The performances of adaptive duty ratio control and sliding mode control have been compared. The simulation results (with the package SABER) indicate that the sliding mode control results in the shortest and the smallest bus voltage excursions.

  • The Rough Set theory suggested by Pawlak in 1982 has been useful in AI, machine learning, knowledge acquisition, knowledge discovery from databases, expert system, inductive reasoning. etc. The main advantages of rough set are that it does not need any preliminary or additional information about data and reduce the superfluous informations. but it is a significant disadvantage in the real application that the inference result form is not the real control value but the divided disjoint interval attribute. In order to overcome this difficulty, we will propose approach in which Rough set theory and Neuro-fuzzy fusion are combined to obtain the optimal rule base from lots of input/output datum. These results are applied to the rule construction for infering the temperatures of refrigerator's specified points.

  • Recently the wind turbine generating systems are increasing world widely. This type of systems will change the nation's energy environment which largely depends on the fossil fuels. It will also bring new problems to the power industry and the customers. The expected problem is the voltage and frequency stability of the power distribution network, when a wind turbine generating system is connected to the line. It becomes necessary and important to evaluate their impact on the electrical network stability. This paper shows the electrical data measurement and analysis of a inductive wind turbine generator affecting the power quality problem of the distribution line.

Adaptive Scheduling in Flexible Manufacturing Systems

  • This paper develops an adaptive scheduling policy for flexible manufacturing systems. The inductive learning methodology used for constructing this state-dependent scheduling policy provides and understanding of the relative importance of the various system parameters in determining the appropriate scheduling rule. Experimental studies indicated the superiority of the suggested approach over the alternative approach involving the repeated application of a single scheduling rule for randomly generated test problems as well as a real system, and under both stationary and nonstationary conditions. In particular, its relative performance improves further when there are frequent disruptions, and when disruptions are caused by the introduction of tiiight due date jobs, one of the most common surces of disruptions in most manufacturing systems.

  • More and All-Electric Aircraft (AEA) carry many loads with varied functions. In particular, there may be large pulsed loads with short duty ratio, which can affect the normal operation of other loads. In this paper, a bi-directional converter with inductive storage is used as a voltage bus conditioner (VBC) to mitigate voltage transients on the bus. In addition, the constant frequency hysteresis control technique for a VBC is presented. A simple and fast prediction of the hysteresis band-width is implemented by the phase-lock loop control, keeping constant switching frequency. This technique offers the excellent dynamic response in load or parameter variation. The control performance is illustrated by simulated results with the SABER package, The proposed hysteresis control results in the shortest and the smallest excursions.
