예비특수교사의 체육교수불안 척도 개발 및 타당화 (Development and Validation of Physical Education Teaching Anxiety Scale for Preservice Special Teacher)

  • 이 연구는 특수(체육)교육 예비교사들의 체육교수불안 척도 개발 및 타당성을 검증하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이에 따른 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 연구절차는 3단계에 따라 이루어졌다. 1단계에서는 특수(체육)교육 예비교사의 체육교수불안 구성 요인을 도출하기 위해 100명의 특수(체육)교육 예비교사를 대상으로 개방형 질문지를 통한 예비문항을 설정하고, 이에 따른 응답을 통해 얻어진 결과를 바탕으로 귀납적 내용분석을 실시하였다. 다음 2단계에서는 1단계에서 도출된 체육교수불안 구성 요인을 바탕으로 100명의 특수(체육)교육 예비교사를 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석 통해 문항들의 이론구조에 적합한지 검증을 통하여 구인타당성을 확보하였다. 그리고 마지막 3단계에서는 특수(체육)교육 예비교사 300명을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 통해 척도의 구인타당성을 확보하였으며, t-test 차이검증을 실시하여 척도의 외적타당도를 확보하였다. 이를 통해 분석된 내용을 중심으로 문항을 구성하였다. 그 결과 특수(체육)교육 예비교사의 체육교수불안 척도는 수업지식(4문항), 학생이해(4문항), 수업환경(3문항), 수업관리(3)문항으로 총 14개 문항으로 구성되었다.

국제학술논문에 나타난 '문화' 에 관한 연구의 최근 경향 분석 - 환경디자인 분야를 중심으로 - (Current Trend of Studies on 'Culture' in the field of Environmental Design)

  • This study began to classify the studies on 'culture' in the field of environmental design overall. The classifying process adopted not the approach to preselect the criteria but the phenomenological inductive approach and content analysis method focusing on environmental design in order to understand which place the environmental design had taken. As a result, following aspects were reviewed: what is the area in which the studies on culture is made under the environmental design; what is the trend of using the word 'culture' in terms of logical connection; what is the level of approach to culture from the viewpoint of search, correspondence or application stage. On the whole, followings were drawn as conclusions. First, the interest of the studies on culture has been increased with time especially in the field of interior design. Second, the word 'culture' has become to be used a lot as 'cultural', and was used together with traditional, enterprise and material. Lastly, culture was studied at a starting point by and large. Although the papers, the objects of this study, are confined to five kinds of journals, the analysis of them is helpful to preestimate the trend of studies on culture because they have propensity to lead the international professional academic world.

간호사의 태움 체험에 관한 질적 연구 (Qualitative Research on Nurses Experiencing Taeoom)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this empirical research was to describe the contents what had happened to nurses experiencing taeoom. Methods: This study explored the phenomenological ways to understand lived experiences in nurses' 'Taeoom' and investigated the 'Taeoom' through the deductive content analysis. For the this study, the data was collected through individual interviews with 11 nurses who worked over 12months in 1 hospital, lived in 5 areas, working 7 nursing unit of 10 hospitals. The interviews conducted by semi structured questions about participants' lived experiences in 'Taeoom'. Results: Inductive contents analysis identified 5 categories and 15 subcategories. Main themes in this study included a failed membership, difficult of practical field adaptation, feared with nursing unit life, self-centered peer relationships and rite of passage. Conclusion: This study results have been illuminated with edged sword which has a dark side and a light side to experienced in 'Taeoom'. Newly employed nurses have suffering from 'Taeoom' as well as retained nurse. Therefore, policy and practice programs for a diminution of suffering and management for nurses 'Taeoom' should be developed and implemented.

유통 어린이 화장품 세트의 중금속 함량에 관한 분석 (Analysis of Heavy Metals Content in Distributed Children's Cosmetic Set)

  • 사용 연령이 만 4 세 이상부터 표시된 어린이 화장품세트 4 건을 온라인으로 구매하였으며 각 구성품 81 건을 대상으로 납, 카드뮴, 비소, 안티몬, 니켈, 코발트, 구리, 크롬 및 수은의 함량을 inductive coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP - MS)로 분석하였다. 어린이 화장품의 중금속 평균값은 납 0.82 ㎍/g, 카드뮴 0.03 ㎍/g, 비소 0.97 ㎍/g, 안티몬 0.52 ㎍/g, 니켈 2.32 ㎍/g, 수은 0.01 ㎍/g으로 모든 제품에서 허용 기준보다 낮았다. 국산과 수입산의 비교 결과, 국산보다는 수입산에서 납, 안티몬, 코발트, 구리의 평균값이 높게 검출되었다(p < 0.05). 화장품 유형에 따른 중금속 평균값은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였는데(p < 0.05) 아이새도에서 비소 2.47 ㎍/g, 니켈 6.36 ㎍/g, 크롬 11.06 ㎍/g으로 평균값이 가장 높게 나왔으며, 볼연지에서 납 1.20 ㎍/g, 안티몬 1.17 ㎍/g, 구리 23.60 ㎍/g으로 가장 높게 나왔다. 분석된 81 건의 어린이 화장품에 대한 코발트의 검출 수준은 불검출 ~ 5.23 ㎍/g, 구리는 불검출 ~ 379.61 ㎍/g, 크롬은 불검출 ~ 36.95 ㎍/g이었다. 브라운 색상의 화장품은 니켈과 코발트에서 평균값이 높게 검출되었으며, 퍼플 색상은 납과 크롬에서 높게 검출되었다.

말기 암 환아 부모가 경험하는 어려움 (The Difficulties for Parents of Children with Terminal Cancer)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to provide an understanding of the difficulties for facing parents of children with terminal cancer. Method: The design of this study was an inductive and descriptive study. Thirty???]one parents of children with terminal cancer participated in???]depth were interviewed s. C in depth and content analysis was used for analyzing the data. Results: The main categories in the findings were 'difficulties in coping', 'physical and psychological suffering of children', 'suffering of family', 'bereavement with children', 'economic problems', 'incurable situation', 'preparation of death', 'social isolation', 'coping after a child dies', 'spiritual problems', receiving active treatment', 'informing children of their condition', 'a sense of meaninglessness', 'emotional iunstability', and 'giving up hope'. Conclusion: The main point identified from this result in this study was that parents who have a child with terminal cancer don't never give up the hope of recovery for their child even when the child is in by the terminal stage of their children, even though and they are unwillingly to prepare for their child's death. This is a unique characteristic in the attitude of the families' attitude in child hospice care and differs from that found in adult hospice care. This result can be used as an important guide for nurses to in assessing the parents' needs in the terminal care setting.

RF 유도 열플라즈마를 이용한 유기 용매로 부터의 탄화규소 나노 분말 합성 (Synthesis of Silicon Carbide Nano-Powder from a Silicon-Organic Precursor by RF Inductive Thermal Plasma)

  • Silicon carbide (SiC) has recently drawn an enormous amount of industrial interest due to its useful mechanical properties, such as its thermal resistance, abrasion resistance and thermal conductivity at high temperatures. In this study, RF thermal plasma (PL-35 Induction Plasma, Tekna CO., Canada) was utilized for the synthesis of high-purity SiC powder from an organic precursor (hexamethyldisilazane, vinyltrimethoxysilane). It was found that the SiC powders obtained by the RF thermal plasma treatment included free carbon and amorphous silica ($SiO_2$). The SiC powders were further purified by a thermal treatment and a HF treatment, resulting in high-purity SiC nano-powder. The particle diameter of the synthesized SiC powder was less than 30 nm. Detailed properties of the microstructure, phase composition, and free carbon content were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), a thermogravimetric (TG) analysis, according to the and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area from N2 isotherms at 77 K.

정신건강간호의 실체규명을 위한 업무경험 탐색 (An Exploration of Essentials of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore the essentials of psychiatric and mental health nursing by identifying the care experience of the psychiatric nurses. Methods: Eleven psychiatric nurses were recruited across five geographical areas in the Korea. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews from two focus groups, which were analyzed with an inductive content analysis. Results: Participants constructed two categories including 'nursing tasks for the client' and 'nursing tasks for the organization'. Subcategories of nursing tasks for the client are 'staying alert on crisis prevention', 'leading them to be real with eager and persistent will', 'nursing beyond role boundaries', 'tuning the needs of clients' family', 'taking journey with clients' personal life history', and 'doing invisible but recognizable nursing'. Subcategories of nursing tasks for the organization are 'working as a responsible team member', 'integrating team competencies at the center of team', and 'balancing protection and control'. Conclusion: Psychiatric nurses played professional and holistic care roles for the clients, and managerial roles for the organizations. This study provides essential data for defining psychiatric nursing and estimating the appropriate ratio of psychiatric nursing staffing.

Public Health Center Service Experiences and Needs among Immigrant Women in South Korea

  • Purpose: To support implementation of comprehensive, person-centered healthcare, this study aimed to explore immigrant women's public health center (PHC) service experiences and needs while considering Photovoice's feasibility for this purpose. Methods: This qualitative study included 15 marriage-based immigrant women. Participants were recruited from churches and multicultural family support centers using purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected through four focus group interviews and were subjected to inductive content analysis. Results: Five categories of experiences were identified: language barriers, hectic environment, affordable and practical primary healthcare, feeling ignored and discriminated against, and feeling frustrated. In addition, five categories of needs were identified: language assistance services, ease of access, healthcare across the lifespan, expansion of affordable healthcare, and being accepted as they are. This study provides preliminary evidence that the Photovoice approach can facilitate the interview process in a qualitative inquiry involving participants with limited ability to express their perspectives in the researchers' language. Conclusion: Study findings highlight the need to implement institutional policy and procedural changes within PHCs and to provide culturally competent, personcentered care for South Korea's marriage-based immigrant women and other ethnic minority populations. The findings also provide evidence-based direction for PHC service planning.

한국 대학생의 K-MOOC 학습 경험에 대한 내용 분석 (A Content Analysis on Learning Experience of K-MOOC(Korea-Massive Open Online Course) : Focused on Korean University Students)

  • 본 연구는 한국 대학생이 K-MOOC을 활용하여 학습함에 있어 강좌 선정의 동기, 학습활동 및 기술과 관련한 학습경험 및 그에 따른 교육적 효과를 이해하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 K-MOOC 강좌를 수강하여 학습한 94명의 한국 대학생이 작성한 개인별, 그룹별 성찰일지를 귀납적 내용분석 방법에 따라 수집 및 분석하였다. 연구결과, 학생들의 특정 K-MOOC 선정 및 수강의 주된 동기는 해당 주제에 대한 평소 관심과 흥미에서 비롯되는 것으로 나타났다. 지적호기심, 전공공부 및 진로탐색, 오프라인 강좌와의 비교, 인기도 등이 그 뒤를 따랐다. K-MOOC 학습활동과 관련하여 학생들의 긍정적 경험과 부정적 경험은 주로 동영상 시청과 퀴즈 및 시험에서 야기된 것으로 드러났다. K-MOOC 기술에 대한 학생들의 경험은 대부분 긍정적이었으나 일부 학생들은 기술적 단순오류뿐 아니라 고급 학습분석 플랫폼 기술의 부재로 부정적 경험을 보고하였다. K-MOOC 학습경험을 통한 학습효과에 있어서는 지식(기억, 이해), 태도(감수), 기술 순이었다. 본 연구는 새로운 대중 온라인 학습환경인 K-MOOC 수업에서 나타나는 다양한 학습경험을 비정형화된 자유 서술식 형태의 성찰일지를 통해 실제 학습자의 인식에 근거하여 살펴보았다는 점에서 의미를 갖는다. 추후 학습경험과 학습효과의 직접적인 관계에 대해 실증적인 연구가 수행될 필요가 있다.

A Qualitative Case Study of an Exemplary Science Teacher's Earth Systems Education Experiences

  • The purposes of this case study were (1) to explore one experienced teacher's views on Earth Systems Education and (2) to describe and document the characteristics of the Earth Systems Education (ESE) curriculum provided by an exemplary middle school science teacher, Dr. J. All the essential pieces of evidence were collected from observations, interviews with the experienced teacher and his eighth grade students, informal conversations, document analysis, and field notes. The $NUD^*IST$ for MS Windows was used for an initial data reduction process and to narrow down the focus of an analysis. All transcriptions and written documents were reviewed carefully and repeatedly to find rich evidence through inductive and content analysis. The findings revealed that ESE provided a conceptual focus and theme for organizing his school curriculum. The curriculum offered opportunities for students to learn relevant local topics and to connect the classroom learning to the real world. The curriculum also played an important role in developing students' value and appreciation of Earth systems and concern for the local environment. His instructional strategies were very compatible with recommendations from a constructivist theory. His major teaching methodology and strategies were hands-on learning, authentic activities-based learning, cooperative learning, project-based learning (e.g., mini-projects), and science field trips. With respect to his views about benefits and difficulties associated with ESE, the most important benefit was that the curriculum provided authentic-based, hands-on activities and made connections between students and everyday life experiences. In addition, he believed that it was not difficult to teach using ESE. However, the lack of time devoted to field trips and a lack of suitable resource materials were obstacles to the implementation of the curriculum. Implications for science education and future research are suggested.
