인덕턴스 특성을 이용한 자기부상계의 변위 측정의 한 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Displacement Measurement Method of Magnetic Levitation System Applying the Inductance Characteristic)

  • The magnetic levitation system has great advantages, such as little friction, no lubrication, no noise and so on. But the magnetic levitation system need a stabilizing controller because it is a unstable, system in natural and it need a sensor for displacement measurement to control the system. In this paper, we proposed a sensorless method to measure the gap between the magnetic pole and the levitated object with application the inductance characteristic which vary according to gap. We made a driving circuit which supply simultaneously the control input PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal and the carrier PWM signal to estimate the gap. Because the inductance is a function of gap, and the current of the carrier signal is a function of the inductance, we could estimate the gap from the measurement of the current of the carrier signal. Finally, we investigated the validity of the proposed method through the experimental results.

  • In this paper, we proposed a method to measure the gap between the magnetic pole and the levitated object applying the inductance characteristic which vary according to gap. We made a driving circuit which supply the control input PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal and the carrier PWM signal to estimate the gap. Because the inductance is a function of gap, and the current of the carrier signal is a function of the inductance. We investigated the validity of the proposed method through the experimental results.

  • Inductance and back EMF are important parameters in characteristic analysis of brushless motor. Inductance is constant value in surface permanent magnet type brushless motor. But it is change depending on the position of the rotor in interior permanent magnet type brushless motor. So this paper is considering for change inductance in characteristic analysis of brushless motor. Characteristic analysis is executed by the method that three-phase bipolar 120 degree commutation drive type.

  • This study investigates magnetic circuit design of the Single-phase Line-start Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (LSPM) to develop the characteristics in steady state. In this paper, the saliency ratio, that is the ratio of q-axial inductance to d-axial inductance, and the inductance difference between q-axial inductance and d-axial inductance are increased. Design factor is selected permanent magnet position and rotor diameter. The analysis method of the synchronous motor on d-/q- axis coordinates is used for the positive component and the equivalent circuit of the induction motor is applied for the negative component analysis. Back-emf and d-q- axial inductance is analyzed by using 2 dimensional Finite Element Method (FEM). Characteristic analysis results with variation of design factor are reflected magnetic circuit design of LSPM. The characteristics of design model are compared with the characteristic of initial model.

고주파 유도가열용 전원장치의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Power Supply for High Frequency Induction Heating)

  • This paper proposed LC resonant current fed high frequency inverter for high frequency induction heating using leakage inductance of transformer and, its described operating principle. The analysis of circuit presented by using normalized parameter in considering leakage inductance of transformer and, discussed characteristic evaluation of inverter circuit in detail. The proposed inverter is operating ZVS to reduce turn-on and turn-off loss of switching devices so, raised an efficiency. And, the experimental apparatus was made on base characteristic evaluation of theoretical analysis to discuss possibility on high frequency source and confirmed a rightfulness theoretical analysis. A result of study, the proposed inverter is higher utilizing factor using on leakage inductance of transformer and show possibility, which is application on high frequency power system.

  • This paper presents the characteristic of rectangular and octagonal spiral inductor using PGS(Patterned Ground Shield). We investigated variation of inductance and Q-factor with changing of turn number at fixed width, spacing and inner diameter. We confirmed that characteristic of inductance and Q-factor be appled PGS in rectangular and octagonal types spiral inductor by EM simulation tool. Inductance decreased irrespective of structure but Q-factor increased. When PGS not exist, Q-factor of Inductor is analogous at classification frequency but, rectangular is a few larger then octagonal in small turn number. The other side, When PGS is inserted, we confirmed that octagonal lager then rectangular in many turn number. Q-factor is improved in case of octagonal structure and small turn number by PGS effect.

  • LC ladder형의 여파회로등에 필요한 비접지 inductance를 유도소자없이 구성하기 위하여 2개의 연산증폭기와 수동소자를 쓰는 방식을 제시하였다. Indefinite admittance matrix를 써서 이 회로강이 가등적으로 병렬로 정과 부의 저항과 직렬로 순 inductance가 있는 π형회로임을 증명하였고, 실제로 low-pass 여파회로의 구성에 응용하여 얻어진 주파수특성이 만족할만함을 보였다. 이 방법에 의한 비접지 inductance는 지금까지 발표된 방법과 비교할 때 실현된 inductance에 직렬저항성분이 없음으로 Q가 높아서 유리하다. 또한 소요된 연산증폭기의 수도 적다.

  • It is necessary to accurately predict converter losses for optimized design of a high-power DC-DC converter. The losses of switching devices and inductor among the elements of the converter take significantly greater proportion. The current ripple will be determined by the size of the inductance and this inductance value varies depending on the DC amount of inductor current. As the inductance changes according to load current, the change influences not only the inductor loss itself but also the total converter loss. In this paper, for more accurate design of a bi-directional DC-DC converter for 30kW-class energy storage system, more accurate computational model is proposed considering inductance variation according to the load current change. The inductance changes using variable magnetic cores are verified and converter efficiency is tested through simulations and experiments.

  • This paper study on the notch effect for d-q axis inductance of interior type permanent magnet (IPM) motor. The variations of d-q axis inductance are analyzed by finite element method (FEM). Applying the notch for cogging torque minimization and maximization of reluctance torque is confirmed to be improve the torque characteristics.   • This paper shows the characteristic of wave tail according to inductance values in 10/$350{\mu}s$ impulse circuit with crowbar switch. The PSpice was used to simulate the 10/$350{\mu}s$ current waveform and lightning current impulse generator was used to generate real current waveform. As a capacitor of condenser bank increases, a virtual front time increases and a time to half-value decreases. To get a perfect 10/$350{\mu}s$ current waveform, we should consider the combination of circuit values of the inductance, capacitance, time difference between trigger pulses and charged voltage of capacitor bank.
