전자파에 노출된 생체두부의 전기생리적 변화의 측정에 관한 연구 (Measurement of electro-physiological changes in the brain exposed to eletromagnetic wave radiation)

  • 전자파가 일상생활에서 생체에 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있으나 실제로 그 영향을 정성, 정량적으로 규명하는 것은 용이하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 생체의 전기적 신호를 이용하여 2.45GHz의 전자파에 노출시킨 토끼의 두부에 대한 영향을 측정하는 방법을 검토하였다. 연구결과, 두부모델의 손상정도는 뇌전위의 연속적인 FFT 신호처리에서 뇌활성도 저하를 관찰할 수 있었으며, 특정 주파수와 강도(최소허용전력과 치사전력)에 대한 기준 설정에 필요한 요소를 제시할 수 있었다.

  • This paper describes a MEMS-based micro-fluxgate magnetic sensing element using Ni$\_$0.8/Fe$\_$0.2/ film formed by electroplating. The micro-fluxgate magnetic sensor composed of a thin film magnetic core and micro-structured solenoids for the pick-up and the excitation coils, is developed by using MEMS technologies in order to take advantage of low-cost, small size and lower power consumption in the fabrication. A copper with 20um width and 3um thickness is electroplated on Cr(300${\AA}$)/Au(1500${\AA}$) films for the pick-up(42turn) and the excitation(24turn) coils. In order to improve the sensitivity of the sensing element, we designed the magnetic core into a rectangular-ring shape to reduce the magnetic flux leakage. An electroplated permalloy film with the thickness of 3 $\mu\textrm{m}$ is obtained under 2000Gauss to induce magnetic anisotropy. The magnetic core has the high DC effective permeability of ∼1,100 and coercive field of -0.1Oe. The fabricated sensing element using rectangular-ring shaped magnetic film has the sensitivity of about 150V/T at the excitation frequency of 2MHz and the excitation voltage of 4.4Vp-p. The power consumption is estimated to be 50mW.

  • High-speed flight vehicle have various cavities. The supersonic cavity flow is complicated due to vortices, flow separation and reattachment, shock and expansion waves. The general cavity flow phenomena include the formation and dissipation of vortices, which induce oscillation and noise. The oscillation and noise greatly affect flow control, chemical reaction, and heat transfer processes. The supersonic cavity' flow with high Reynolds number is characterized by the pressure oscillation due to turbulent shear layer, cavity geometry, and resonance phenomenon based on external flow conditions, The resonance phenomena can damage the structures around the cavity and negatively affect aerodynamic performance and stability. In the present study, we performed numerical analysis of cavities by applying the unsteady, compressible three dimensional Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) equations with the ${\kappa}-{\omega}$ turbulence model. The cavity model used for numerical calculation had a depth(D) of 15mm cavity aspect ratio(L/D) of 3, width to spanwise ratio(W/D) of 1.0 to 5.0. Based on the PSD(Power Spectral Density) and CSD(Cross Spectral Density) analysis of the pressure variation, the dominant frequency was analyized and compared with the results of Rossiter's Eq.

  • To expect accurately the maximum power of solar cell module under various installation conditions, it is required to know the performance characteristics like temperature dependence. Today, the PV (photovoltaic) market in Korea has been growing. Also BIPV (building integrated photovoltaic) systems are diversified and become popular. But thermal dependence of PV module is little known to customers and system installers. In IEC 61215,a regulation for testing the crystalline silicon solar cell module, the testing method is specified for modules. However there is limitation for testing the module with diverse application examples. In extreme installation method, there is no air flow between rear side of module and ambient, and it can induce temperature increase. In this paper, we studied the roof type installation of PV module on the surface of one-axis tracker system. We measured temperature on every component of PV module and compared to open-rack structure. As a result, we provide the foundation that explains temperature characteristics and NOCT (nominal operation cell temperature) difference. The detail description will be specified as the following paper.

Prediction of Change in Equivalent Circuit Parameters of Transformer Winding Due to Axial Deformation using Sweep Frequency Response Analysis

  • Power transformer is one of the major and key apparatus in electric power system. Monitoring and diagnosis of transformer fault is necessary for improving the life period of transformer. The failures caused by short circuits are one of the causes of transformer outages. The short circuit currents induce excessive forces in the transformer windings which result in winding deformation affecting the mechanical and electrical characteristics of the winding. In the present work, a transformer producing only the radial flux under short circuit is considered. The corresponding axial displacement profile of the windings is computed using Finite Element Method based transient structural analysis and thus obtained displacements are compared with the experimental result. The change in inter disc capacitance and mutual inductance of the deformed windings due to different short circuit currents are computed using Finite Element Method based field analyses and the corresponding Sweep Frequency Responses are computed using the modified electrical equivalent circuit. From the change in the first resonant frequency, the winding movement can be quantified which will be useful for estimating the mechanical withstand capability of the winding for different short circuit currents in the design stage itself.

  • This paper proposes an alternative methodology for deciding an optimum deterministic reliability level (IRR; Installed Reserve Rate) by using probabilistic reliability criterion (LOLE; Loss of Load Expectation). Additionally, case studies using the proposed method induce the characteristics of relationship between the probabilistic reliability index (LOLE) and deterministic reliability index (IRR) for 2008 year in Korea power system. The case study presents a possibility that an optimum IRR level in Korea can be assessed using the proposed method. Korea power system has been using the LOLE criterion to determine the adequacy of installed capacity (ICAP) requirement. The criterion in Korea is that the loss of load expectation shall not exceed the available capacity more than five day in ten years (=0.5[days/year]). The probabilistic reliability evaluation and production cost simulation program which is called PRASim is used in order to evaluate the relationship and optimum IRR in this paper.

  • 본 연구는 한중정기항로에서 국적선사 활성화 방안에 관한 실증연구이다. 본 연구를 위하여 한중항로의 국적정기선사, 중국적 정기선사, 3국적 정기선사 등의 종사자에 실문지 500매를 배포하여 290매 회수하였으며, 한중정기항로 국적선사 활성화 요인과 물동량 증대효과의 관련성을 검증하기 위하여 먼저, 설문문항의 신뢰성(Reliability)은 크론바하 알파(Cronbach's Alpha)에 의한 내적 일관성 검사법을 통하여 검정하였고, 독립변수의 구성타당성(Construct Validity)을 검정하기 위해서 변수들이 선형결합이라는 가정 하에 요인을 추출하는 주성분 법(Principal Components)을 이용한 요인분석(Factor Analysis)을 실시하였다. 그리고 연구가설을 검증하기 위하여 다변량 회귀분석(Multiple Regression Analysis)을 실시하였다.

Numerical Study on Coolant Flow Distribution at the Core Inlet for an Integral Pressurized Water Reactor

  • When an integral pressurized water reactor is operated under low power conditions, once-through steam generator group operation strategy is applied. However, group operation strategy will cause nonuniform coolant flow distribution at the core inlet and lower plenum. To help coolant flow mix more uniformly, a flow mixing chamber (FMC) has been designed. In this paper, computational fluid dynamics methods have been used to investigate the coolant distribution by the effect of FMC. Velocity and temperature characteristics under different low power conditions and optimized FMC configuration have been analyzed. The results illustrate that the FMC can help improve the nonuniform coolant temperature distribution at the core inlet effectively; at the same time, the FMC will induce more resistance in the downcomer and lower plenum.

Pt이 도핑된 박막 전지용 비정질 산화바나듐 박막의 구조적 변화 (Structure evolution of Pt doped amorphous $V_{2}O_{5}$ cathode film for thin film battery)

  • We have investigated the Pt doping effect on structural and electrochemical properties of amorphous vanadium oxide film, grown by radio frequency magnetron sputtering. Room temperature charge-discharge measurements based on a half-cell with a constant current clearly indicated that the Pt doping could improve the cyclibility of V$_2$O$_{5}$ cathode film. Using glancing angle x-ray diffraction (GXRD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) analysis, we found that the Pt doping with l0W r.f. power induce more random amorphous structure than undoped V$_2$O$_{5}$ film. As the r.f. power of Pt increases, large amount of Pt incorporates into amorphous V$_2$O$_{5}$ and makes PtOx microcrystalline phase in amorphous matrix. This result suggests that the semicondcuting PtOx microcrystalline phase in amorphous matrix lead to a drastically faded cyclibility of 50W Pt doped V$_2$O$_{5}$ cathode film. Possible explanations are given to describe the Pt doping effect on cyclibility of vanadium oxide cathode film.de film.
