Objectives: This study evaluated the influence of chlorhexidine (CHX) on the microtensile bonds strength (${\mu}TBS$) of resin core with two adhesive systems to dentin in endodontic cavities. Materials and Methods: Flat dentinal surfaces in 40 molar endodontic cavities were treated with self-etch adhesive system, Contax (DMG) and total-etch adhesive system, Adper Single Bond 2 (3M ESPE) after the following surface treatments: (1) Priming only (Contax), (2) CHX for 15 sec + rinsing + priming (Contax), (3) Etching with priming (Adper Single Bond 2), (4) Etching + CHX for 15 sec + rinsing + priming (Adper Single Bond 2). Resin composite build-ups were made with LuxaCore (DMG) using a bulk method and polymerized for 40 sec. For each condition, half of specimens were submitted to ${\mu}TBS$ after 24 hr storage and half of them were submitted to thermocycling of 10,000 cycles between $5^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$ before testing. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and independent t-test at a significance level of 95%. Results: CHX pre-treatment did not affect the bond strength of specimens tested at the immediate testing period, regardless of dentin surface treatments. However, after 10,000 thermocycling, all groups showed reduced bond strength. The amount of reduction was greater in groups without CHX treatments than groups with CHX treatment. These characteristics were the same in both self-etch adhesive system and total-etch adhesive system. Conclusions: 2% CHX application for 15 sec proved to alleviate the decrease of bond strength of dentin bonding systems. No significant difference was shown in ${\mu}TBS$ between total-etching system and self-etching system.
Nature/Landscape is surrounding space in which we make living. It is considerably comprehensive tenn. but on the other hand, the site can be existence, experience, and certain circumstance with boundaries. Based on these places, through contemporary art criticism, this study is to contemplate how art since 1960s, especially, site-specific art in three-dimensional space intervene in the environment. Artists of today put more value on the process and act of art making founded on the external, and they tend to create the characteristic of site or to indicate linguistic documentation. Moreover, a large-scale tendency of contemporary sculpture and 'occupation of specific site' seems to accede spatial conception from architecture. The core that recognizes these artworks is with body, that is to say, the space in which Self becomes the subject by changing the structure of the work while moving around it. In particular, 'Site-specific Art (in situ)' sometimes determines the form inward or outward It also relates directly on viewer's five senses by looking, hearing, and feeling, touching, and interacting. For example, in Richard Serra's , the viewer who moves around the work has the role to manipulate the movement of the work by perception. Works of In situ and works that planned for specific site suggest 'occupation of site' as of the function of the work These sites are ideal and special as well as being independent. Ultimately, it seems that the creative process of contemporary artists is to carry those intended form on the structure of perception. Furthermore, law of nature such as entropy, and acceptance of contingency helped organic structure of artwork become more abundant. For Robert Smithson, entropy suggests of reaching to a state of equilibriumin which everything is the same. This means that any core is justifiable and any rank is possible. Because the world without a core is a labyrinth of boundless exploration.

K1A1 tank commander's primary thermal sight is a device that enables tank commanders to detect, identify, aim and track the target by observing targets in all directions during day, night and in situations of smokescreen and fog through $360^{\circ}$ rotation independent from the gunner's primary thermal sight and stabilizing the line of sight even under the vibrations occurring when the tank is standstill and moving. The main function of this device is to detect and process visible and thermal images and deliver the final images to the tank commander. One of the core parts to that end is the observation window (daytime/thermal image window). This core part is mounted at the entrance of the optical path for observing the target and plays the role of making visible light during the daytime and infrared light during the night pass through the target and transmitting the resultant images to the internal optical system of the tank commander's primary thermal sight. Such core parts have been selected as depot maintenance items so that they are replaced by new parts instead of being recycled when they are subjected to maintenance in most cases. That is, the military budget is wasted because such parts are replaced by new parts despite that they can be recycled for maintenance. Therefore, this study proposed a mounting tool for polishing and coating observation windows (daytime and thermal image window) using planar polishing equipment and DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating equipment. In addition, this study presented an amendment (proposal) of the Depot Maintenance Work Request (DMWR) already published to verify the performance of recycled products including the establishment of inspection standards for recycling processes.
Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the emotional characteristics of adults who complained of fatigue using the Core Seven Emotion Inventory-Short Form (CSEI-s) followed by correlation analysis with the Chalder fatigue scale (CFQ) and Psychosocial Well-being Index-Short form (PWI-SF). Methods: In this study, the medical records of 45 participants who complained of fatigue and completed the CSEI-s, CFQ, and PWI-SF were evaluated. Records of a total of 45 adults were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, Version 25.0). Frequency Analysis, Descriptive Analysis, Independent t-test, One Way ANOVA, and Correlation analysis were used for data analysis. Results: 1. According to the educational status of the participants, Thought (思) was identified to be significantly higher in below college graduate than in graduate school and above. 2. As the period of complaining of fatigue increased, a significant difference was observed in Depression (憂) and Fright (驚). 3. According to the degree of fatigue, there was a significant difference in Depression (憂) and Fright (驚), and especially Depression (憂) was higher in the middle fatigue group than in the low fatigue group. 4. PWI-SF, Anger (怒), Depression (憂), and Sorrow (悲) showed a positive correlation with CFQ scores. Conclusions: The results suggest that CSEI-s can be used to measure the psychological symptoms of a patient with fatigue.

A digital focus index (DFI) is a value used to determine image focus in scientific apparatus and smart devices. Automatic focus (AF) is an iterative and time-consuming procedure; however, its processing time can be reduced using a general processing unit (GPU) and a multi-core processor (MCP). In this study, parallel architectures of a minimax search algorithm (MSA) are applied to two DFIs: range algorithm (RA) and image contrast (CT). The DFIs are based on a histogram; however, the parallel computation of the histogram is conventionally inefficient because of the bank conflict in shared memory. The parallel architectures of RA and CT are constructed using parallel reduction for MSA, which is performed through parallel relative rating of the image pixel pairs and halved the rating in every step. The array size is then decreased to one, and the minimax is determined at the final reduction. Kernels for the architectures are constructed using open source software to make it relatively platform independent. The kernels are tested in a hexa-core PC and an embedded device using Lenna images of various sizes based on the resolutions of industrial cameras. The performance of the kernels for the DFIs was investigated in terms of processing speed and computational acceleration; the maximum acceleration was 32.6× in the best case and the MCP exhibited a higher performance.

Objectives: To perform correlation analysis between the Core Seven Emotions Inventory-Short Form (CSEI-s), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), upper gastrointestinal symptoms, and gastroscopic findings and to compare emotional characteristics with upper gastrointestinal endoscopic findings. Methods: In this study, medical records of 38 participants who visited the hospital for examination purposes or complained upper gastrointestinal symptoms and completed the CSEI-s, BAI, BDI, and Questionnaire for upper gastrointestinal symptoms were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 25.0. Frequency Analysis, Descriptive Analysis, Independent t-test, Mann-Whitney's U-test, and Correlation analysis were performed. Results: The upper gastrointestinal symptom group showed higher levels of anger, sorrow, depression, and anxiety than the asymptomatic group. On gastroscopy, the normal group had higher levels of Joy than the abnormal group. The reflux esophagitis group showed higher levels of thought, depression, sorrow, and anxiety than the non-reflux esophagitis group. Joy showed a negative correlation with BDI score. However, anger, depression, sorrow, BAI, and BDI score showed positive correlations. Conclusions: Results of this study suggest that CSEI-s can be used to treat patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms and reflux esophagitis.
The purpose of this paper is to take a look the effect of the physical security level of companies possessing national core technology on security performance and work efficiency. To this end, a survey was set out for about 200 security officers for a month. In the survey, the independent variable was physical security level, the parameter was security performance, and the dependent variable was work efficiency. Reliability analysis, validity analysis, discriminant validity analysis, etc. were analyzed for causality through SPSS. As a result, "Physical Security Level ⇒ Security Performance, Security Performance ⇒ Work Efficiency" was adopted, but "Physical Security Level ⇒ Work Efficiency" was rejected. Therefore, it was found that the physical security level affects work efficiency through security performance, which is a parameter. However, it was found that the physical security level did not directly affect work efficiency. In order to improve work efficiency in the future, improving security performance should be a priority.

Objective: Recent studies demonstrated that core needle biopsy (CNB) can effectively reduce the possibility of inconclusive results and prevent unnecessary diagnostic surgery. However, the effectiveness of CNB in patients with suspicious thyroid nodules has not been fully evaluated. This prospective study aimed to determine the potential of CNB to assess thyroid nodules with suspicious ultrasound (US) features. Materials and Methods: Patients undergoing CNB for thyroid nodules with suspicious features on US were enrolled between May and August 2016. Diagnostic performance and the incidence of non-diagnostic results, inconclusive results, conclusive results, malignancy, unnecessary surgery, and complications were analyzed. Subgroup analysis according to nodule size was performed. The risk factors associated with inconclusive results were evaluated using multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results: A total of 93 patients (102 thyroid nodules) were evaluated. All samples obtained from CNB were adequate for diagnosis. Inconclusive results were seen in 12.7% of cases. The diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value for diagnosis of malignancy were 93.8%, 100%, 100%, 78.9%, and 95%, respectively. None of the patients underwent unnecessary surgery. The diagnostic performance was not significantly different according to nodule size. On multivariate logistic regression analysis, larger nodule size and shorter needle length were independent risk factors associated with inconclusive results. Conclusion: Samples obtained by CNB were sufficient for diagnosis in all cases and resulted in high diagnostic values and conclusive results in the evaluation of suspicious thyroid nodules. These findings indicated that CNB is a promising diagnostic tool for suspicious thyroid nodules.
In this study, we propose the core factors and application of asymmetric virtual reality(VR) content in which head-mounted display(HMD) user and Non-HMD users can work together in a co-located space that can lead to various experiences and high presence. The core of the proposed asymmetric VR content is that all users are immersed in VR and participate in new experiences by reflecting widely a range of users' participation and environments, regardless of whether or not users wear the HMD. For this purpose, this study defines the role relationships between HMD user and Non-HMD users, the viewpoints provided to users, and the speech communication structure available among users. Based on this, we verified the core factors through the process of producing assistive asymmetric VR content and cooperative asymmetric VR content directly. Finally, we conducted a survey to examine the users' presence and their experience of the proposed asymmetric VR content and to analyze the application method. As a result, it was confirmed that if the purpose of asymmetric VR content and core factors between the two types of users are clearly distinguished and defined, the independent experience presented by the VR content together with perceived presence can provide a satisfactory experience to all users.

The purpose of this study is to explore the multi-faceted understanding and issues of science subject matter competencies from the trends of competency-based curriculum discourse, and to examine the relationship between general core competencies and science subject matter competencies. First, we examined the theoretical background of competency-based curriculum focusing on behaviorism, humanism, and its comprehensive synthesis. After that, we reviewed OECD's competency-related projects (DeSeCo; OECD Education 2030), US Next-Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Korea's 2015 Revised National Curriculum from the viewpoint of competency-based curriculum. After that, we summarized and systematically analyzed a list of competencies, 105 general core competencies and 45 science subject matter competencies proposed by 15 important documents from home and abroad. The results of this study are as follows: First, the issues of the proper number, appropriate dimension, and how individual competencies should be unique and independent were pointed, in terms of defining and categorizing competencies. Second, it was suggested that the competency items are presented in various dimensions such as personal-micro dimension, community meso-dimension, and social-macro dimension. Meso-dimension was placed on both general core competencies and subject matter competencies. Third, in the relationship between general core competencies and subject matter competencies, the former emphasizes macro-dimension, and the latter emphasizes micro-dimension, revealing an existing gap, and where the two can meet each other is the meso-dimension. These discussions are thought to provide insight into the understanding of competencies in the national curriculum, including the 2015 Revised National Curriculum.
