경기도 농촌형 초등학교 어린이 대상 건강교육 프로그램의 효과 평가 (Effects of a Health Education Program for Elementary School Children in Gyeonggi-do Rural Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to implement and evaluate the health education program for elementary school children. The program consisted of nutritional education and physical exercise. The subjects composed of 89 school children, first through sixth grade (n = 100), who had completed ten weeks of health education program from April through July 2010. Pre-post intervention design was used to evaluate the program effectiveness. After completing health education program, the number of overweight subjects decreased (boys 13 to 11 and girls 11 to 9) and the number of obese subjects decreased from 5 to 4 for boys and 4 to 2 for girls The number of sit-ups significantly increased in both 1-2 grade girls and 3-4 grade girls. Backward trunk extension of 1-2 grade girls also significantly increased (p < 0.05). The level of serum total cholesterol decreased from 171.8 mg/dL to 153.5 mg/dL (p < 0.001). Hypercholesterolemia (above 239 mg/dL), hyperLDLcholesterolemia (above 175 mg/dL) and low level hemoglobin subjects changed to normal levels. Total score of nutrition knowledge increased from 5.9 to 6.1 (p < 0.05), percentage of perception answers increased significantly in 5 out of 10 items and percentage of correct answers increased significantly in 6 out of 10 items (p < 0.05). Three food habits improved, including, "having breakfast", "having diverse foods" and "having vegetables per meal" (p < 0.05). Two self-efficacy items improved significantly, including, "having meals slowly", "having exercise instead of watching TV or computer" (p < 0.05). These results suggest that health education program for elementary school children including nutritional education and physical exercise may be effective to improve their anthropometric characteristics, physical fitness, hyperlipidemia, nutrition knowledge, food habits and self-efficacy.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 문제해결전략을 기반으로 하는 스마트러닝시스템을 설계 및 구현하는 것이다. 제안된 시스템은 학습장애아동의 일반능력과 문제해결능력을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 시스템의 특성은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문제해결전략을 기반으로 일반능력과 문제해결능력을 향상을 위해 개발하였다. 둘째, 스마트 어플리케이션과 SNS를 동시에 활용하는 학습형태로 개발하였다. 셋째, 학업적 자기효능감을 향상을 위한 단계적인 학습을 지향하였다. 본 시스템을 학습장애아동들에게 적용한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습장애아동의 일반적인 학습능력이 향상되었다. 둘째, 학습장애아동의 문제해결능력이 증진되었다. 셋째, 학습장애아동의 자기효능감과 성취감, 학습에 대한 자신감이 높아졌으며, 정보 활용능력과 정보기기활용능력 또한 향상되었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 감각적 영성 활동이 유아가 지각한 유아의 자기 효능감에 미치는 효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 U시에 소재한 C 보육시설과 H 보육시설에 다니는 만 4, 5세 유아 36명이었다. 실험을 하기에 앞서 전인옥(1996)이 번안하고 본 연구자가 재수정한 자기 효능감 검사를 실험집단과 비교집단 유아에게 실시하였다. 감각적 영성 활동은 통제 집단 유아를 대상으로 2009년 1월 19일에서 2월 16일까지 이루어졌고, 비교집단에는 일반적인 보육과정을 실시했다. 실험이 끝나고 나서 실험집단과 비교집단에 사후검사를 하였다. 연구 결과 감각적 영성 활동은 자기 효능감에 유의한 효과가 있었다. 하위영역인 신체적 영역, 사회정서적 영역, 인지적 영역에서 모두 효과가 있었다.

고콜레스테롤 식이 랫드에서 천마혼합액의 혈액개선 효과 (Effect of Mixture of Gastrodiae rhizoma on Blood Amelioration in High Cholesterol-diet Rats)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effect of mixture of Gastrodiae rhizoma (GM) on blood amelioration in high cholesterol-diet rats. Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly assigned to one normal diet and three high cholesterol-diet groups which contained 1 % (w/w) cholesterol diet. The groups of high cholesterol-diet were classified to control (high cholesterol-diet only), GM-1 (high cholesterol-diet and GM) and ST-1 (high cholesterol-diet and Statin drug). The body and organs weight were not significantly changed among the tested groups. Contents of serum total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol were significantly increased in cholesterol-diet groups compared with normal diet group but significantly decreased in the group of GM-1. Morphology of red blood cell in GM-1 group was similar to normal diet group but the control group had many crystals of cholesterol. Hepatic xanthine oxidase activity in the rats of high cholesterol-diet was decreased up to the levels of normal diet group according to oral administration of GM. The results of the present study demonstrate that the orally injection of GM can ameliorate the status of total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol, and repress xanthine oxidase in liver in high cholesterol-diet rats. These finding suggest that GM is expected to be an effective tea for the blood amelioration in high cholesterol-diet rats.

상호교환식 메트로놈 훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 족저압과 낙상효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Interactive Metronome Training on the Plantar Pressure and Fall Efficacy in Chronic Stroke Patients)

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the effects of Interactive Metronome training on the plantar pressure and fall efficacy in chronic stroke patients. METHODS: Twenty-two hemiplegic patients were allocated randomly to an experimental group and control group. The experimental group received conventional physical therapy and emphasized weight-bearing interactive metronome training, whereas the control group received conventional physical therapy. The training was performed three times per week, 40 minutes per each session, for a total of seven weeks. The plantar pressure was assessed using the contact area and contact pressure, whereas the fall efficacy was assessed using the FES (Fall Efficacy Scale), ABC (Activities-specific Balance Confidence scale) and FOFQ (Fear of Falling Questionnaire). RESULTS: After training, a significant increase was observed in the paretic side of the contact area and the paretic and non-paretic side of contact pressure in both groups (p<.05). The between-group differences in the changes before and after training were statistically significant in the paretic side of the contact pressure (p<.05). After training, both the FES of the between-group and ABC of the experimental group were increased significantly (p<.05), but the between-group differences in the changes before and after training were not statistically significant in the FES, ABC, and FOFQ (p>.05). CONCLUSION: Interactive Metronome training is considered an effective treatment for improving the contact pressure of the paretic side in chronic stroke patients.

진로교육 프로그램이 간호대학생의 진로자기효능감, 진로적응성 및 진로스트레스에 미치는 효과 (The effects of Career Education Program on Career Self-efficacy, Career Adaptability and Career Stress for Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 진로자기효능감, 진로적응성 및 진로스트레스에 대한 진로교육 프로그램의 효과를 확인하기 위하여 시도되었다. 실험 전 후 차이를 비교하는 단일군 전후 실험 설계로 95명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 실시되었다. 진로교육 프로그램은 4개 영역들(1) 진로 탐색, (2) 자기 이해, (3) 진로 계획 수립 (4) 진로 계획 실천으로 구성되었으며 상담, 전문가 특강, 모의면접 및 면접결과 분석으로 진행되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 program을 사용하여 평균과 표준편차, paired t-test와 ANCOVA로 분석하였다. 진로교육 중재 후 간호학생들의 진로 자기효능감 점수(t=4.48, p<.011)와 진로응성 점수(t=3.02, p=.003)는 유의하게 증가하였고 진로스트레스 점수(t=-2.45, p=.015)는 유의하게 감소하였다. 본 연구는 간호대학생에게 진로교육 프로그램이 진로자기효능감과 진로적응성 증가시키고 진로스트레스를 개선시키는 역할을 실증적으로 확인하였다는 점과 진로스트레스 관리를 위한 진로교육 프로그램의 개발에 기초 자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

복합운동프로그램과 전화상담이 중년 비만여성의 생리적 기능, 자기효능감, 우울에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Combined Exercise Program and Telephone Counseling on Physiological Functions, Self-efficacy and Depression in Obese Middle-aged Women)

  • Purpose: This study was to determine the effects of a combined exercise program and telephone counseling in obese middle-aged women. The study also attempted to measure the effects of the program on physiological functions, self-efficacy and depression. Method: This research employed a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The experimental group consisted of 29 obese middle-aged women, and the control group of 30 women. The subjects in the experimental group participated in a combined exercises program and telephone counseling for 12 weeks. Results: After performing the program for 12 weeks, BMI (p=.000), percent body fat (p<.007), TC (p=.026), TG (p=.035) and depression (p=.012) in the experimental group decreased significantly compared with the control group. Self-efficacy (p=.000) in the experimental group increased significantly compared with the control group after the program. Conclusion: From these findings, it was confirmed that a combined exercises program and telephone counseling for obese middle-aged women can increase self-efficacy and decrease BMI, percent body fat, total cholesterol, triglyceride and depression. Therefore, this program can be utilized for various population groups including women, and further researches are required on programs for men.

프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램이 예비 교사의 자아효능감에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Programming-based TPACK Educational Program on Self-efficacy of Pre-service Teachers)

  • 테크놀로지의 중요성이 증가함에 따라 교육에 테크놀로지를 통합하기 위하여 예비 교사를 위한 지식인 TPACK의 필요성이 증가하였다. 이에 따라 예비 교사의 TPACK 향상을 위하여 프로그래밍 기반 TPACK 교육 프로그램이 개발하였지만, 개발된 프로그램은 예비 교사의 자아효능감 발달에 한계가 존재하였다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 개선된 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램을 예비 교사에게 적용하여 자아효능감 변화를 검증하였다. 검증을 위하여, 두 집단의 예비 교사에게 기존과 개선된 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램을 적용하였다. 적용 결과, 개선된 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램은 예비 교사의 자아효능감 발달에 효과적이었다. 세부 영역에서는 예비 교사의 자신감, 과제난이도선호가 기존 프로그램보다 유의한 향상이 진행된 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통하여 개선된 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램은 기존의 교육 프로그램보다 예비 교사가 수업에 테크놀로지를 통합을 촉진한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

남자 대학생을 위한 금연프로그램의 효과 - 니코틴 의존도와 자기효능감을 중심으로 - (Effects of Smoking Cessation Program for Male University Students: Perceived Nicotine Dependency and Self-efficacy)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of 8 weeks smoking cessation program(SCP) developed by researchers. Method: One group pretest-posttest design was used in this study. The subjects were 88 male university students who consented to participate in the 8 weeks SCP. The SCP in this study consisted of a stop-smoking class, e-mail, SMS(short message service), cellular phone, internet cafe, displayed panel, and patch or acupuncture for quitting smoking. Korean version of questionnaire for nicotine dependency by Ahn et al.(2002), the smoking self-efficacy scale translated by Choi(1999) and subjects' opinion about the SCP were measured. The data were analyzed by using frequency, Chi-Square test, paired t-test and repeated measures ANOVA with SPSS WIN 10.1 Program. Results: 1) The rate of quitting smoking was 31.8% after 8 weeks SCP. 2) There was no significant decrease in the nicotine dependency score among smoking subjects after SCP. 3) There was a significant increase in self-efficacy after SCP. The mean score of self -efficacy in the quitting smoking group increased significantly, but did not significantly change in the smoking group. 4) The stop-smoking class was the most helpful among contents of the SCP. Contents of the SCP except for internet cafe were useful for quitting smoking in this study. Conclusion: The above results indicated that the 8 weeks SCP would be a helpful intervention to quit smoking for male university students.

통합적 교육프로그램이 진단 직후 유방암 환자의 지식, 자기효능감 및 대응방식에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Comprehensive Education Program on Knowledge, Self-Efficacy, and Coping Style among Newly Diagnosed Patients with Breast Cancer)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of a comprehensive education program on knowledge, self-efficacy for self-management, and coping style among newly diagnosed patients with breast cancer. Methods: This study used a one group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected from April to September, 2010 at a cancer-specific hospital in Goyang, Korea. One hundred forty three women received a comprehensive education program consisting of 3 sessions composed of 8 themes was conducted by several experts (nurses, doctors, dietitians and clinical psychologists) for 3.5 hours a day for 3 days (1 day before and 2 days after the operation). Results: This study showed that knowledge and self-efficacy for self-management significantly increased after education (p<.001). In terms of coping style, however, only the subscale, 'anxious preoccupation', significantly improved (p=.001) among 5 sub-scales of coping style after education. Conclusion: A comprehensive education program for newly diagnosed patients with breast cancer was effective for increasing the knowledge and self-efficacy for self-management of breast cancer, in addition to decreasing the coping style of 'anxious preoccupation'. However, it did not improve other coping style. Therefore, other strategies for improving coping style are needed.
