업셋 단조의 좌굴 및 소성 불안정 유동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Buckling and Plastic Instable Flow in Upset Forging)

  • The plastic instable flow phenomenon happens in practical forming process, I. e. upsetting, backward extrusion, piercing, indentation. And also, it is difficult to control precisely the shape and dimensions of forming process. It is found that instabilities of the process are mainly connected with imperfections in the lubrication, billet eccentricity, inclined punch alignment. In view of the direct relationship between instable material flow and quality defects of the products and for better control of forming operation, we should necessarily find out their phenomena. In this study, we introduced the friction disturbance due to inclined punch angle. Analysis of upset forging is carried out using the rigid plastic FEM and slab method with eccentricity. Also, we considered the buckling parameters of billet with the large aspect ratio in upset forging.

돌기성형공정에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Investigation on the Serration Process)

  • In this paper, experimental investigation has been performed to analyze the forming process of toothed or serrated sheets, which is used as strap engaging surface of the seal to secure together overlapping portions of steel or plastic strapping ligature. Serration formed on the strap engaging surface of the seal prevent from relative slipping between overlapping ligatures after closing the seal. The geometry of tooth on the strap engaging surface is directly related to the quality of securing overlapping ligatures together. Inclined indentation followed by scratching operation has been proposed and applied to the experiments. Punch entry and face angles are selected as process variables to see the influence of these variables on the tooth geometry. Five different punch entry angles have been applied to experiments and three different punch face angles have been selected for each case of punch entry angle. Clay is selected as model material for experiments. Experimental results are summarized in terms of tooth height, tooth width, and aspect ratio such as tooth height to width ratio, respectively.

  • In wide angle diffuser, the increasement of cross-sectional area so rapidly cause possibly separate from the diffuser wall and forming areas of backflow. The flow characteristics of wide angle diffuser with guide damper was investigated for three kind of inclined angle($\alpha=7_{\circ},\;10.5_{\circ}\;and\;14_{\circ}$)of guide damper. Judging from the results, guide damper can be used as an effective means of improvement for diffuser performance and inclined angle of $\alpha=10.5^{\circ}$ was through to be the best among three cases.

  • Light Guide Plate (LGP) of LCD-BLU(Back Light Unit) is manufactured by forming optical pattern with $5\~100um$ in diameter on the LGP by means of sand blasting or etching method. However, in order to improve the luminance of LCD-LGP, the design of optical pattern has introduced UV inclined-exposure process in this study. This micro-optical pattern, which has asymmetric elliptical column shaped pattern, can change low viewing-angle to high viewing-angle, as well as it contribute to diffusion of light. As a result, this type of micro-optical pattern can introduce the highly luminance. The PR structure obtained in the stage of lithography has asymmetric elliptical column shape and it is processed into a micro-optical pattern. Optical design with this kind of micro-optical pattern, mold fabrication by electroplating and LGP molding with injection molding are under way.

  • Powder metallurgy process has many advantages such as hight efficientyof material, mass productivity and complex shape production with good mechanical properties. Among the powder forming processes, incremental forging allows the consolidation to be achieved with amaller force then those required by conventional forging. In particular the proces known as rotary forging is an unique and prodominant process known as rotary forging is an unique and prodominant process in which the working constraints approximate to those in normal closed die forging. This study is concerned with the powder compaction by rotary forging process. An experimental rotary forging press with 500kN load capacity has been developed, which is equippe dwith the rotational conicla die inclined to the central axis of the press at arbitrary angle. It is found that the highly densified P/M parts can be obtained by rotary forging process and the material properties are superior to those of the conventrional sintered parts. The detailedcomparision of the mechanical properties by rotary forging process with those by conventional process are given.

  • The structure of spiral thickenings, particulary the appearance, arrangement and orientation of thickenings in compression wood of Torreya nucifera, were studied in detail by light and polarizing microscope, scanning and transmission electron microscope. The results obtained are as follows: (1) Using the inclined sections at an angle of 45 degrees to the fiber axis, it seems that we can not only observe the more accurate transverse view of the thickenings but also investigate the formation of their thickenings. (2) Generally 2-4 pieces of thickenings are projected to the cell lumen as nipple-like appearance in transverse section and are as frequent, well developed, forming pair and have the rope-like appearance in radial surface. (3) The secondary wall of early wood is composed of 3 layers (S1, S2, S3) and orientation of thickening appears S helix but that of late wood is of 2 layers (S1, S2) and that orientation shows Z helix. Above two regions are demaracted at several tracheid cells from the growth ring boundary. (4) Orientation of thickening seems to be a element showing the characteristics of compression wood in Torreya nucifera. (5) It believes that the thickenings of compression wood are integral part of the S3 in early wood tracheids and of the S2 in late wood and have the same orientations as the inner-most microfibrils in these layers. (6) Thickening and cavities seem to be not formed together in a secondary cell wall of same tracheids.

  • 회전성형법은 프레스 축 중심에 대하여 일정한 각도로 경사진 요동축과 원추형상의 상부 금형을 축 중심에 대하여 회전시키고 소재를 상승 가압하면 상부금형과 소재가 점진적으로 접촉하면서 제품을 성형하는 공정이다. 본 연구팀에서 개발된 회전 분말단조 프레스(500kN)를 이용해서 산업용 고밀도 베벨기어의 성형성 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과로 회전 분말단조 공정과 회전 분말성형 공정에서의 성형하중, 성형밀도, 경도, 미세조직 등의 변화를 조사하여 제품의 기계적 성질을 규명하고 실제로 산업 전반에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시한다.

미원-보은지역에서 옥천변성대의 지질구조 (Geological Structure of Okcheon Metamorphic Zone in the Miwon-Boeun area, Korea)

  • 옥천변성대의 중북부에 위치하는 미원-보은지역은 주로 규암(미동산층), 변성 탄산염질암(대향산층 화전리층), 변성사질암(운교리층). 변성이질암(문주리층), 변성역질암(황강리층) 등으로 구성된 옥천누층군과 이를 관입하는 중생대 청주 및 보은 화강암류로 구성되어 있다. 이들 옥천누층군은 북동 방향의 대상 분포를 보이고 이들의 방향성은 남북 내지 북서 방향의 고각 단층 주변부에서 국부적으로 남북 내지 동서 방향으로 변화한다. 미원-보은지역 옥천누층군에 대한 변형단계별 암석구조를 연구한 결과, 이 지역에 분포하는 옥천누층군의 지질구조는 적어도 네 번의 변형단계를 걸쳐 형성되었음을 알게 되었다. (1) 첫 번째 변형은 상부-남동-이동의 연성 전단변형작용 하에서 발생하여 칼집습곡 내지 A형 습곡, 비대칭 등사습곡, 북서-남동 방향의 신장선구조를 형성시켰다. (2) 두 번째 변형은 북서-남동 방향의 압축작용 하에서 발생하여 그 전기 단계에는 준 수평적인 습곡축을 갖는 북동 방향의 밀착된 직저습곡을 형성시켰고, 그 후기 단계에는 상부-남동-이동의 반취성 충상단층(구룡산 충상단층)과 이에 수반된 뱀-머리 습곡을 형성시켰다 (3) 세 번째 변형은 지각두께의 팽창화와 중력적 불안정에 기인하는 중력적 내지 신장성 붕괴작용에 의해 발생하여 준 수평적인 습곡축을 갖는 횡와 개방습곡을 형성시켰다. (4) 네 번째 변형은 고각 단층운동과 관련하여 중침강, 급경사의 킹크습곡을 형성시켰으며, 고각 단층의 주변부에서 북동 방향의 광역 엽리가 국부적으로 남북 내지 동서 방향으로 변화함은 네 번째 변형과 밀접한 관련성이 있다. 지질, 변성진화과정, 광물화학 그리고 지구조적 환경은 백동-홍성 지역이 산둥반도 수루 충돌대의 연장선일 가능성이 높음을 지시한다. 하지만 백동지역의 변성염기성암으로부터 얻어진 전암-석류석 Sm-Nd 연령인 268.7~297.9 Ma는 중국의 다비-수루 충돌대에서 인지되는 초고압변성작용 시기인 208~245 Ma보다 오래되었다. 이는 Sino-Korea 판과 Yangtz 판의 충돌이 중국보다 한반도에서 먼저 일어났을 가능성을 지시한다. $\mu\textrm{m}$가 얇게 나타났는데, 이와 같은 결과는 호분층의 두께는 현미의 크기에 일부 영향을 받는 것으로 여겨진다. 두꺼운 호분층.작은립 F$_2$ 개체에 현미의 표현형은 TAL 214과 같은 작은립의 표현형을 보인 것으로 여겨진다. 4. 지질함량의 경우는 3.85 %로 각각의 교배모본 TAL 214 2.92 %, LO 1050 3.01 %에 비하여 0.93 %, 0.84 %가 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는LO 1050의 호분층에 의한 영향으로 여겨지며, 현미의 배의 크기는 LO 1050 만큼 크지는 않아도 두꺼운 호분층의 유전자 집적의 효과가 있는 것으로 판단된다. 지질함량이 상승시키는데도 이와 같은 유전자 집적의 효과가 유효할 것으로 여겨진다. 5. 지방산 조성은 있어서는 품종인 Kinmaze와 각각의 교배모본의 계통과 이 들 F$_2$ 개체에는 그 차이가 유의성을 보일 정도는 아니였다. 그러나, oleic acid의 일부 증가와 linoleic acid의 미미한 감소되는 경향을
