The Incheon International Airport 4 years recent times was to period aircraft movements delay and cancellation due to meteorology is 52% and 30%. And then fog is 63% and 43% in meteorology factor. Therefore, the analysis against the economic loss size of an airline due to the fog is necessary. This study is indirectly estimated economic disaster scale of flight return and cancellation due to the fog in the Incheon International Airport from 5 to 6 March 2006. This is based on an aviation operational statistics data and meteorology observation data. • Purpose: The study aimed to analyze the occurrence and transfer status of emergency patients at Incheon International Airport in Korea. Methods: This study design included 810 patients for eight years, from July 1, 2014 to June 31, 2022. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS statistics version 25.0. Results: For the demographics, 531 (65.6%) were males, 151 (19.5%) were in the highest age group (in their 50s), and 289 (35.9%) were foreigners. The most common place of occurrence was in protected areas in the passenger terminal, with 341 (42.1%) of cases occurring here. The time of arrival at the site (z=-3.444, p=.001), stay duration at the site (z=-8.145, p=. 001), and transfer time (z=-3.623, p=.000) were all significantly longer. Conclusion: It is necessary to consider a rapid emergency transportation plan, such as developing a system that simplifies immigration procedures when emergency patients move from protected areas to general areas. Moreover, in order to quickly respond to foreign emergency patients, detailed characteristics will need to be identified. Lastly, considering the long transfer time, an instructing doctor should accompany an ambulance and actively perform advanced resuscitation.

  • This research has been carried out for assessing the competitiveness of the major Asian airports based on the quality of service provision. Five airports were selected for evaluation: Hong Kong, Singapore Changi, Tokyo Narita, Bangkok Don Muang, and Seoul Incheon International Airport. For evaluation of these selected airports, AHP and IPA techniques were applied. Five main factors were defined through a literature review of previous studies: concreteness, convenience, economic efficiency, respondency, and accessability. Hong Kong International Airport had the strongest airport in the Asian region, followed by Incheon International Airport. The least competitive airports were Bangkok and Tokyo Narita International Airport in regards to users' perception for the provision of services at the airport.

  • Perception of outsource workers among Incheon Int'l airport employees was reviewed about the service performances of winning the ASQ awards in 11 consecutive years. 85% of Incheon airport operating authority(Incheon International Airport Corp.) and its outsource companies employees was composed of outsource workers. Thus, their thoughts might represent the overall perception of airport operating authority employees. The perception on the service performances of winning the ASQ awards was analyzed by researchers using attribution theory model. It is useful to apply attribution modeling in order to analyze the causal relationships among variables. Attribution is the process by which individuals explain the causes of behavior and events. Attribution theory is the study of models to explain those processes. According to empirical analysis, it was found outsource workers attributed the excellent service performance of Incheon airport to such an internal factor as service competence. However it was also implied they attributed to such external factors as the positive relationship and institutional support from airport and government authorities.

  • Due to the continuous expansion of the highway, the opening of the high-speed railway(KTX), etc, the demands of domestic air transport decreasing. In the circumstances, airports and local governments are spending themselves in taking a measure to activate local airports. In this aspect, this study seeks the smooth flow of human movement through the activation of Daegu International Airport by analyzing the present condition of Daegu International Airport in relation to the appearance of the high-speed railway, deducing plans for activating airports, and presenting the roadmaps for long-, mid- and short-term roles for the development of Daegu Airport, and Presents substantial fulfilling plans to secure the competitive power of Daegu International Airport by speeding up the flow of air goods of the area for the long run. It is suggested in the study that by setting up an organization exclusively responsible for activating Daegu International Airport in the city of Daegu, supporting local travel agencies to promote consistent demands, supporting aviation companies to employ Daegu International Airport as a major air base, establishing airlines with priority for airports that open newly in local cities of Japan and establishing and expanding airlines in China areas be promoted actively. Ministry of Construction & Transportation makes it a means of main airport Policy to only support Incheon International Airport to be a hub. However not only Incheon International Airport should be an amok representing the country, but also the wide Metropolitan area should supply the demands, and airports based in the West and East Coast areas need to be developed in the future. It is suggested that since air demands of domestic local airports are based on the demands of the of gin destination in neighboring region, multiple bases need to be developed. It is suggested that by developing not 1 in mega hub (Incheon International Airport) but 1 in mega hub. 2 in regional hub (the West and East Coast) and Jeju foy the tourism hub in our developing airports system.

  • After it first opened in 2001, Incheon International Airport (IIA) has grown into a world-class airport, leaving remarkable traces, such as being the first airport to win the ASQ Airport Serivce Price for 10 consecutive years. However, ever since its birth IIA has tried to position itself as the leading hub airport of Northeast Asia. Until this day, it has not been meeting this goal, with transfer passenger numbers and transfer rates decreasing recently. This study looks at the outer environment to discover which factors affect IIA's transfer market. Through extensive research on external analysis, the study will eventually provide a counter strategy guideline for fighting back against decreasing transfer usage.
