Location for a Car Crash and The Service System (차량 충돌 사고에 대한 위치 확인 및 서비스 시스템)

  • The spread of wireless Internet technology development and applications with location information in the form of location-based services are becoming more diverse. In particular, where you recognize the location of objects such as people and things and to provide valuable services based on the ubiquitous and location-based services are emerging as an important service. The collision between the vehicle position measurement in this thesis and offers related service system. Used in the proposed system, the GPS PACKET with information about the location and time of collision for the vehicle crash, the vehicle consists of a NodeID. Cause a conflict between these data at the vehicle, the vehicle through the gateway from the server to decide whether to go on to determine that an emergency situation, Emergency Center, the location information and giving information about whether the conflict is measured. Also, for such an emergency, such as a family on the outside of the wireless terminal related to Wireless (PDA, Phone) is to let me know. The server to want to save the crash information to the database of configuration. Additionally, the proposed U-LBS system to verify the validity of the experiment was performed.

  • The advanced information and communication technology gives vehicles another role of the third digital space, merging a physical space with a virtual space in a ubiquitous society. In the ubiquitous environment, the vehicle becomes a sensor node, which has a computing and communication capability in the digital space of wired and wireless network. An intelligent vehicle information system with a remote control and diagnosis is one of the future vehicle systems that we can expect in the ubiquitous environment. However, for the intelligent vehicle system, many issues such as vehicle mobility, in-vehicle communication, service platform and network convergence should be resolved. In this paper, an in-vehicle gateway is presented for an intelligent vehicle information system to make an access to heterogeneous networks. It gives an access to the server systems on the internet via CDMA-based hierarchical module architecture. Some experiments was made to find out how long it takes to communicate between a vehicle's intelligent information system and an external server in the various environment. The results show that the average response time amounts to 776ms at fixec place, 707ms at rural area and 910ms at urban area.

  • While the conventional vehicle's Head-Units played relatively simple roles (e.g., control of heating ventilation and air conditioning, the radio reception), they have been evolving into vehicle-driver interface with the advent of the concept of Connected Car on top of a rapid development of ICT technology. The Head-Unit is now successfully extended as an IVI (In Vehicle Infotainment) that can operate various functions on multimedia, navigation, information with regards to vehicle's parts (e.g. air pressure, oil gauge, etc.). In this paper, we propose a platform architecture for IVI devices required to achieve the goal as a connected car. Connected car platform (CoCaP) consists of vehicle selective gateway (VSG) for receiving and controlling data from major components of a vehicle, application framework including native and web APIs required to request VSG functionality from outside, and service framework for driver assistance. CoCaP is implemented using Tizen IVI and Android on hardware platforms manufactured for IVI such as Nexcom's VTC1010 and Freescale's i.MX6q/dl, respectively. For more practical verification, CoCaP platform was applied to an real-world finished vehicle. And it was confirmed the vehicle's main components could be controlled using various devices. In addition, by deriving several services for driver assistance and developing them based on CoCaP, this platform is expected to be available in various ways in connected car and ITS environments.

  • In the ubiquitous computing environment, an intelligent vehicle is defined as a sensor node with a capability of intelligence and communication in a wire and wireless network space. To make it real, a lot of problems should be addressed in the aspect of vehicle mobility, in-vehicle communication, common service platform and the connection of heterogeneous networks to provide a driver with several intelligent information services beyond the time and space. In this paper, we present an intelligent information system for managing in-vehicle sensor network and a vehicle gateway for connecting the external networks. The in-vehicle sensor network connected with several sensor nodes is used to collect sensor data and control the vehicle based on CAN protocol. Each sensor node is equipped with a reusable modular node architecture, which contains a common CAN stack, a message manager and an event handler. The vehicle gateway makes vehicle control and diagnosis from a remote host possible by connecting the in-vehicle sensor network with an external network. Specifically, it gives an access to the external mobile communication network such as CDMA.   • Most vehicles are in the form of maintenance when a problem occurs by the user himself or herself. During maintenance, users are not able to operate the car while it is being serviced, and if the target vehicle is a revenue-generating vehicle, they will have to bear economic losses. Collecting vehicle information in real time, identifying problems that could arise with a vehicle based on the collected big data and providing advance service rather than after-sales service can help secure vehicle operation and reduce economic loss. Thus, in this thesis, a platform was designed to design IoT-based gateways, collect real-time vehicle information, and organize big data to provide vehicle information in real time.

  • We propose a traffic information service system for which traffic data are transmitted over vehicle ad-hoc network from neighbor vehicles, and eventually provided to the traffic information center through a few gateway vehicles which are capable of inter-working with the infrastructure network like 3G. The center broadcasts the traffic information through the FM radio. The proposed scheme allows collecting and analyzing traffic status of large areas without incorporating separated monitoring systems, e.g., probe cars and enables to provide accurate traffic information to drivers in timely manner. We also evaluate its performance by ns-3 simulation.

In particular, where you recognize the location of objects such as people and things, and to provide valuable services based on ubiquitous, location-based services (Ubiquitous Location Based Services: u-LBS) is emerging as an important service. In this paper precise location data to the car crash through the location and offers related service system. In this paper the precise location tracking proposed by the concept of the Rail, road, to extract the location Data Matching Data and the current location is obtained. System used in GPS Packet and information about the location of the vehicle collision and the collision time, the vehicle consists of NodeID is about. Using these data, a packet is to be created when the conflict between vehicles in the vehicle will be sent to Gateway. Gateway to the packets that were sent from the Server to determine whether the conflict is that in an emergency situation, Emergency Center for location information and let me know whether or not the conflict will be measured. Also, for those on the outside of an emergency such as a family related to the wireless terminal wireless (PDA, cell phone) is to let me know. Server get into the conflict that was configured to store information on the Database. Additionally, the proposed u-LBS system to verify the validity of the experiment was performed.

  • Presently, It is required to change convergence the role of hardware system and software technology that promoted trust of In-Vehicle for integrated complex system visibility evaluation. There is possibility for the period system can invoke unpredictable confusing blank state. The blank state systems have ecosystem characteristics that are supplied, maintained and operated through the complex interactions of technology and culture. Using universal middleware can support the life-cycle model and increase the visibility of complex systems and prepare for confusing situations. In this study, based on universal middleware, data and service dynamic standardized modules were evaluated to support stable system visibility platform. The system visibility module consists of Intelligent Pervasive Cloud module, Memorial Service module and Life Cycler connection module. In addition, the analysis results are supported by various network application service standards through platform independent system and architecture.

  • In the present study, A protocol gateway between agent is designed by using an optimized protocol for the exchange of ISO / IEEE 11073-20601 in order to compensate the disadvantage of the existing gateway and a international standard healthcare set-top. The gate way was designed to smooth data transmission to overcoming the geographical limits of the service and to enable data transfer on emergency vehicle and the mountain area.

  • In this paper, we propose a connected car platform architecture called Mobile Second for developing of verity convergence services. A Mobile Second platform architecture is designed to provide more powerful and diverse convergence services for vehicles and drivers by applying technologies of Connected Car and ICT Convergence in various ways. The Mobile Second platform is implemented by applying Tizen IVI and Android to hardware platforms for IVI, Nexcom's VTC1010 and Freescale's i.MX6q/dl respectively. The Mobile Second platform provides the driver with the vehicle's information via IVI devices, mobile devices and PCs, etc., and provides Vehicle Selective Gateway(VSG) and Vehicle Control Framework for the driver to control his/her vehicle, and also provides a web framework to enable the use of VSG's APIs for the monitoring and controlling the vehicle information in various mobile environments as well as IVI devices. Since the Mobile Second platform aims to create new variety of services for Connected Car, it includes service frameworks for Smart Care / Self diagonostics, Mood & Entertainment services, and Runtime, libraries and APIs needed for the development of related applications. The libraries given by the Mobile Second Platform provides both a native library for native application support and a Java Script-based library for web application support, minimizing the dependency on the platform and contributing the convenience of developers at the same time.
