진동원으로부터 지지구조물에 전달되는 진동 파워의 추정방법 (Study on the Estimation of Vibrational Power Supplied From Source to Supporting Structure)

  • This paper proposes a method for estimating the vibrational power supplied by a machine that generates excitation force to its supporting structure via the coupling points. The basis of the method is that the vibrational power can be calculated using the mechanical impedance and the velocity at the coupling points on the supporting structure. First, a method is described to estimate the mobilities at the coupling points when the machine is not separable from the supporting structure, then the vibrational power is calculated using the estimated mobilities and measured velocities at the coupling points. The mobilities are estimated from the result of impulsive testing of the coupled structure. The method is investigated using an experimental model. The estimated and measured values of the mobilities and the vibrational power are compared. It is shown that the estimated values agree well with the measured values.

실내 충격소음 측정시스템 구현에 관한 연구 (A study of the measurement systems implementation for the interior impulse noise)

  • 본 연구의 목적은170dB 이상의 고충격 소음원에서 실내 충격소음을 측정 평가 할 수 있는 측정시스템 구축 방법을 제안하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 실내충격소음 측정시스템용 시험장을 설계 및 구현하고, 충격소음 측정용 마이크로폰, Head & Torso Simulator, Ear Simulator를 구성하였다. 충격소음 측정 시 정확한 측정을 위하여 3가지 측정방법을 동시에 측정할 수 있도록 구현하였으며, 정확성과 신뢰성을 위하여 3가지의 실내충격소음 측정값을 상호 비교하였다. 3가지 측정방법에 따른 최대 음압레벨과 옥타브 밴드 결과를 비교 분석함으로써 실내 충격소음의 주파수 특성에 따른 차이점을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 반사파의 영향에 의한 것으로 판단된다. 이에, 시험장의 크기를 변형하면서 측정할 수 있도록 실내 충격소음 측정시스템을 구현하였다. 본 시스템 구현을 통하여, 충격 소음원의 특징분석과 해당 주파수별 스펙트럼의 반사파 영향들을 파악할 수 있을 것이며, 향후, 실내 충격소음에 대한 데이터 획득 및 분석을 위하여 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

폭발파 모델을 이용한 실내 음장 해석에 관한 연구 (Study on the Indoor Acoustic Field Analysis using the Blast Wave Model)

  • A portable recoilless guided missile generates a strong back blast and impulsive noise at the nozzle when it launches. In the case of indoor operations, the hazard of the blast noise from a recoilless weapon increases due to limited indoor spaces. Also, the noise levels determine the operational feasibility of a weapon; therefore, it is important to predict the blast noise levels distribution in the indoor space in advance. In addition, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method generally used for fluid related simulations, requires high computing cost and time to simulate the whole domains. The domain includes both blast wave region and large and various indoor space region. Therefore, an efficient method for predicting the far-field noise level within a short time should be developed. This paper describes an analysis model for predicting the indoor noise distributions by considering the shape effect of the building within a short time. A new developed blast wave model was implemented using the noise source. Additionally, noise reflections at the closed surfaces such as walls and noise transmissions at the opened surfaces such as windows and doors were considered in calculating the noise levels. The predicted noise levels were compared with the experimental data obtained from the indoor launch test to validate the reliability of program.

어류에 미치는 인위적인 수중소음 영향과 피해기준에 대한 고찰 (Overview of anthropogenic underwater sound effects and sound exposure criteria on fishes)

  • A scientific and objective sound exposure criterion for underwater sound damage on fish has been required since there has been many disputes between an underwater sound maker and a fish damage receiver. The existing criteria are still incomplete scientifically owing to a degree of variability of underwater sounds, diversity of fish hearing sensitivity and damage types, etc. This study reviews existing studies on a hearing mechanism of fish species, manmade underwater sound characteristics and sound exposure assessment parameters, and recent sound exposure criteria. A governing equation for damage coverage estimation and damage coverage dependency on sound source level, ambient noise and transmission loss are also reviewed and interpreted based on sound exposure environments. The foreign and Korean (National Environmental Dispute Medication Commission) criteria are reviewed and compared based on scientific aspects. In addition, the deficit and limit of Korean criteria are presented. The objective of this study is to give a direction for related researches and legislation of sound exposure criteria on fish.

의복구매시 소비자의 의사결정과정에서 디스플레이의 역할 (A Study of the Impact of Display on Decision Making Process of Consumers in Apparel Buying Situation)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the display as an information source use, and to find out the reaction of adult women to dis-play and perceived risk and influence of it in apparel buying. 511 college students, housewives and work-ing women living in Masan, Jinju and Sam-chunpo were selected as samples for this re-search. The result of this research can be sum-marized as follows : 1. Display was in the second place as infor-mation sources use exercising influence on ap-parel buying. The most important imformation sources use was the apparels of other persons. The other's apparels provide valuable aid as an imformation sources use for housewives, and display are important for college students and working women. 2. The ways of response were different ac-cording to the sample. Working women said that looking at the display gives pleasure to them, and they were attracted to sight of dis-play and housewives usually walk into the dis-play room. The point of interest in display were also different according to the samples. 3. All respondent said they perceived some kinds of risks in display. Howsewives reco-gnized social and psycological risk and working women recognized the economic risk and fashionability loss. 4. In apparel buying, college students showed impulsive purchase, but housewives and working women made comparision with other shopping place before they buy it.

電磁誘導形 水中音原의 제작과 특성 해석 (An Electromagnetic Induction Underwater Acoustic Transducer Design And Its Characteristics)

  • 電磁誘導形 音源裝置는 짧은 펄스의 음파를 수중에 放射시킬 수 있어, 높은 距離分解能이 요구되는 해저 탐사용 음원 또는 수중 음파전달 특성시험용 음원등으로 널리 이용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Eisenmenger가 제안한 형태의 電磁誘導形 音源裝置를 설계 제작하여, 放射되는 음파의 파형을 관찰하고, 그 주파수 특성을 분석하였다. 제작된 음원으로부터는 약 한 주기의 짧은 충격 펄스의 초음파가 얻어졌으며, 그 음압은 진동판의 두께가 얇은 경우에 크며, 콘덴서의 용량에 비례하여 증가하였다. 발생된 초음파의 중심 주파수는 振動板의 두께가 두꺼운 경우에 높으며, 콘덴서 용량이 증가할수록 낮아지고, 대역폭도 좁아졌다.

  • 공대공 탄성파 자료를 3개 단면에서 획득하였다. 이 단면들은 한 터널을 가로지르는데 단면상의 터널의 상태는 공동, 모래로 충전, 그리고 버럭으로 충전된 상태이다. 이 세 개 단면 기록으로부터 P와 S파의 초동을 발췌하여 P와 S속도 토모그램을 작성하였다. 6개의 토모그램 중 단지 1개의 토모그램만이 터널의 영상으로 해석할 수 있는 국부적인 저속도 구간을 표출하였다. 이 토모그램은 공동상태의 터널을 지나는 단면의 P파 속도영상이다. 이 사실은 본 주시토모그래피의 공간 분해능을 산출한 수치해석결과와 일치하였다.

라디오시티법을 이용한 실내 음향장 해석 연구 (A Study on Room Acoustic Field Analysis using Radiosity Method)

  • Various numerical methods have been adopted for indoor noise assessments of ship plant. Acoustical radiosity method is one of the high frequency approaches for acoustic field analysis, which assumes diffuse reflections by boundaries so that it could be efficiently applied to the acoustically diffused indoor space noise analysis. In this study, an acoustic field analysis program has been developed based on radiosity method, which could apply for acoustically large enclosures such as ship's indoor space. For this purpose, the procedure of the acoustical radiosity method has been summarized and implemented to an acoustic field analysis program using MATLAB. Numerical example for a rectangular indoor space has investigated validity of the implemented program. Steady state sound pressure levels calculated for a continuous acoustic source signal have shown good agreement with those by other solutions such as an analytic solution and a ray tracing method. Instantaneous sound pressure levels calculated for an impulsive acoustic signal have provided the clues of direct/reflected acoustic field and reverberation time.

이동 프레임 음향 홀로그래피를 이용한 주행 중인 차량의 베어링 결함 위치 추정 (Bearing Faults Localization of a Moving Vehicle by Using a Moving Frame Acoustic Holography)

  • This paper deals with a bearing faults localization technique based on holographic approach by visualizing sound radiated from the faults. The main idea stems from the phenomenon that bearing faults in a moving vehicle generate impulsive sound. To visualize fault signal from the moving vehicle, we can use the moving frame acoustic holography [Kwon, H.-S. and Kim, Y.-H., 1998, "Moving Frame Technique for Planar Acoustic Holography," J. Acoust. Soc. Am. Vol. 103, No. 4, pp. 1734${\sim}$1741]. However, it is not easy to localize faults only by applying the method. This is because the microphone array measures noise(for example, noise from other parts of the vehicle and the wind noise) as well as the fault signal while the vehicle passes by the array. To reduce the effect of noise, we propose two ideas which utilize the characteristics of fault signal. The first one is to average holograms for several frequencies to reduce the random noise. The second one is to apply the partial field decomposition algorithm [Nam, K.-U., Kim, Y.-H., 2004, "A Partial Field Decomposition Algorithm and Its Examples for Near-field Acoustic Holography," J. of Acoust. Soc. Am. Vol. 116, No. 1, pp. 172${\sim}$185] to the moving source, which can separate the fault signal and noise. Basic theory of those methods is introduced and how they can be applied to localize bearing faults is demonstrated. Experimental results via a miniature vehicle showed how well the proposed method finds out the location of source in practice.

차량 윈도우 리프트 음질 고급감 향상을 위한 음질 지수 제작 및 개선에의 응용 (The Development and Application of Sound Quality Index for the Improving Luxury Sound Quality of Road Vehicle Power Window System)

  • With the increasing the importance of emotional quality of vehicle, the sound quality of systems with electric motor components has become increasingly important. Electric motors are used for windows, seats, sun roof, mirrors, steering columns, windshield wiper and climate control blowers, etc. In this paper, a study was conducted to identify sound quality factors that contribute to customer's satisfaction and preference of the window lift system. Jury test for subjective evaluation was carried out and sound quality index was developed. Averaged sound pressure level and sharpness were significant factors when glass moves down. Also, maximum loudness at stop section and averaged loudness were significant factor when glass moves up. Next, noise source identification was carried out using beam forming method during glass transferred section and impulsive noise at stop section. Several improvement methods were applied using the source identification result. And finally, the degree of sound quality improvement was judged using sound quality index.
