In the past, design has been recognized as a means to determine colors, shapes, and functions Recently, however, it has been accepted in a wider sense, namely designing the entire service, including product and user experience design. In this way, in addition to creativity and expressive power that designers have as their main competence, according to the expansion of this design object, designers are required to have comprehensive abilities in related fields and accompanying technical professional abilities. If designing as a technology application as a direction toward this situation, design education can be carried out by approaching technology as a method of expression or design subject. It can also be an effective alternative towards improving the understanding of technology. Meanwhile, many small microcontroller board products with advanced functions and multi-functional specialized programming integrated development environments (IDEs) are becoming widespread due to their open source, low cost, and scalable features. However, students in the design department who lack the basic knowledge of science and engineering have difficulties learning, which requires considerable time and is required for practical use. From this point of view, we have made advancements in the technical understanding of design education by conducting fundamental research to the effectiveness of microcontroller-based prototyping tools as means of expression. We also conducted basic education of microcontroller boards for a certain period of time on students who majored in design in conjunction with the basic survey and investigated the obstacle factors using a questionnaire. Through these surveys, we have confirmed the necessity of designing microcontroller boards of low difficulty, which simplify the coding process that can act as a barrier in difficulty for design students to apply smoothly in design education. In addition, we intend to carry out a basic study on the guideline of microcontroller design for design education and composition of education programs.
This study is to investigate the perceptions of high school teachers on the evaluation criteria of the college admission officer interview system and to suggest approaches to improve the interview system. The survey results of teachers' perceptions are the following. First, for 'potential' criteria, teachers consider challenging spirit and students' initiatives are important evaluation criteria. For 'personality' criteria, they contemplate that responsibility, community spirit and flexibility to resolve conflicts are important values. Further, views of life and creativity also need to be seriously considered in the screening process. Second, their satisfaction with the college admission officer system was relatively high (9.34 points). Last, in order to improve the interview screening system, teachers assert that the process to secure fairness is required. Based on the results, suggestions were made for ensuring expertise of college admission officer and improving the alternative policy of the admission officer interview system.
Laboratory work is so much important in the engineering education. But laboratory work program at most domestic engineering education institutes is still poor and could not have been actively improved and reinforced due to the difficulty in preparing the necessary fund, facilities, professional personnel and so on. The school of mechanical engineering in Pusan National University, sponsored by the national special engineering education project, has poured intensive and strong efforts into improving and strengthening laboratory work program in the courses of education. In this paper, the brief content of the improved laboratory work program and the established system for putting through the program effectively are introduced around the topics such as the integrating laboratory work of mechanical/electronic/computer engineerings, systematic managing and progressive deepening of the laboratory level through the classification of the laboratory works, education system for putting through efficiently the program for a large mass of students and program for encouraging the creativity.

None of us need to be reminded that these are exceedingly times. The evidence in all about us. Between rising costs and lowering prices, many businesses find profits being depressed almost to the vanishing point. The eating out food business is in just such a profit squeeze. Our ability to compete depends not only on our ability to control the price-cost picture, but to improve its kitchen product system. A kitchen product system is incomplete without a series of built-in improvement procedures. They must be a key part of the system. "improvement" means the continual betterment of all aspects of the operation-its personnel, products, sales, and its costs. These improvements create profits. This study is devoted to a discussion of the application of research methods and techniques to develop of modern kitchen system through the job standardization. Their use in executing other responsibilities related to the process of kitchen system improvement will also be seen. The steps of setting objectives, gathering data, analyzing and interpreting data, and arriving at solutions, conclusions, and/or recommendations are briefly out lined. The material presented emphasizes the need for an improved and systematic approach to the study of problems. It is also implied, of not stated, that the process should not become so mechanical that the principles of creativity are violated. The foregoing steps suggest a systematic approach to kitchen system improvement, finding solutions to problems, improving work methods, instituting changes, followting up on work related to the change. This study has been limited to the truly important points related to each step in the process, it will undoubtedly call to mind other factors for consideration, however, believe that the principles and approach suggested in this study will bring about better methods and improve kitchen operating results.g results.
The purpose of this study was to provide basic information for establishment of a desirable design promotion policy drive by research and analysis of recognition to design by consumers (including students) and designers and their level, merchandise evaluation evaluation and obstructing factors in revitalization of designs. To implement such purpose as referred to hereinabove, research was made by introduction of questionaires which were distributed to 500 persons of consumers group and 350 individuals of registered designers in Seoul, and for analysis of the data, density and percentage (%) were obtained by use of SAS Package and the dispersed analysis and correlationship were added for necessary parts. The result of study is summarized as follows; (l)The consumers remind the design as costume (21%) and molding (20%), and the designers remind it as creativity (27%) & molding (14%) respectively and the reminding of design by the two groups was indicated very simi lar. (p < 0.001) (2)As per the recogni tion of roles by the designers the research has highly indicated as contribution to improving living standards or development of economy & industry, and also indicated that it creates excessive consumption with sti$$\mu$ative manner. (3)The design reacts as an important parameter in selecting cri teria of merchandises and deciding factors for purchasing and also, in enhancement of competitive power of merchandise impact of design (2.36) was regarded very high. (4)The Korean-made home appliances in image is assessed as vulnerable than that of Japanese products, and the product designing level is also shown difference from advanced countries (1.36), but has indicated as somewhat better than those competitive nations (0.51) (5)The satisfaction to design policy of the Gov't is very low (1.69) and they recommended for new establishment of Policy undertaking department within the Gov't and indicated reasearch & development of design as the major issue. In regard to the above I'd like to emphasize the design industry $$\mu$t be dealt with the national level as a whole in order to promote thereof.
A change of social environment based on digital information technology has decreased the disparity of regional cultures by exchanging & consuming contemporary information & culture freely. After 1995, when local autonomous entity system was established, the local autonomous bodies competed with one another in developing the regional society with its' own resources, human powers & cultures, independently of the central government. In the competitive system, a local government is getting itself distinguished from each other in the cultural & regional properties, and brands the region with its unique events, public relations(PR) & development strategies. The environment for advertisement has changed rapidly under the spontaneous system of regional brand and competition, which means the changes of creative standard in the field of advertisement. An in-depth advertising creativity with induced impression & trust is one of the most important aspects of the advertisement to become persuasive to the public effectively. This demand has had public advertisements changed rapidly and the change of regional system's advertisements has started already. This study focuses on analyzing the status of Local Government's commercials on TV, and presenting an effective method for improving it.
The purpose of this study was to examine the learning outcome of problem-based learning as an efficient teaching method to improve the competencies of great talents for future society. A general education course of a university that was one of teaching profession courses titled "prevention of school violence and countermeasures" was provided in the form of PBL, and data were gathered, which were reflective journals, evaluation sheet and observational journals. As a result, PBL produced learning effects such as understanding and applying learning contents, fostering cooperativeness, problem-solving skills and a sense of responsibility, extended thinking and good understanding of PBL. Also, that provided a great opportunity for the students to build up their character by learning caring and by improving cooperativeness, a sense of responsibility and communicative competency, which preservice teachers should have. The findings of the study suggest that the expansion of PBL is necessary to bolster problem- solving skills, self-directed learning, cooperativeness and creativity that are competencies required in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Algorithm education that become at the base of thinking is emphasized from primary school. However, It is difficult to understand algorithm in elementary school students level. In this research, it considered curriculum that can teach universally to elementary school students by solution plan of problem. So we chose Scratch program with education data, because it is verified the effect in education of algorithm, and easy to control among EPL (Education Programming Language). It was composed curriculum so that interaction is accomplished through group activities to coincide in various level of students, and approached to the problem-solving center to emphasize important thinking process in algorithm education, and got educational value in relevant level of each student. According to validation of expert groups and surveys, we concluded the curriculum that is appropriate. The curriculum proposed in this paper can help to enhance the problem solving ability and the creativity.

Our study is composed of Arduino robot assembly, board connecting and collaborative programming learning, and it is to evaluate their effect on improving secondary mathematics-science gifted students' convergence capability. Research results show that interpersonal skills, information-scientific creativity and integrative thinking disposition are improved. Further, by analyzing the relationship between the sub-elements of each thinking element, persistence and imagination for solving problems, interest of scientific information, openness, sense of adventure, a logical attitude, communication, productive skepticism and so on are extracted as important factors in convergence learning. Thus, as the result of our study, we know that gifted students conducted various thinking activities in their learning process to solve the problem, and it can be seen that convergence competencies are also improved significantly.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of educational programming language(EPL) using the meta-analysis method. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, t-test and F-test were performed for the effect size differences between the variables. The results of the study were as follows: First, EPL turned out to be highly effective in improving learning effects. The total mean of effect size was as big as 1.01 and the value of $U_3$ was 84.38%. EPL increased the learning effect by 34.38% compared with the control group. Second, the moderator variables such as subject, publication type, and learner's school age there was no statistically significant differences. By designing the experiment nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design showed statistically significant effect size compared with single group pretest-posttest design. Third, the mean effect sizes of the dependent variables were as follows: Creativity 1.90, problem solving ability 1.25, logical thinking ability 1.18, learning motivation 0.81, and achievement 0.59. EPL showed positive effect than traditional teaching and learning method comprehensively.
