4차 산업혁명 시대의 CMMI 품질성과관리 연구 (The Quality Performance Management of CMMI in the Era of Industry 4.0)

  • Purpose: CMMI is a process model used to assess or improve an organization's software development capabilities. This paper deals with the quality indicators when using CMMI and their priorities for possible improvement. Methods: The 22 process areas and 167 practices of CMMI are matched with 60 indicators of Quality Scorecard(QSC) first to analyze the balance of CMMI in terms of prevention, appraisal, and final result categories and second to isolate a set of key areas for quality focused performance measures. Results: A total of 86.2% (144 out of 167) CMMI practices were mapped to QSC. According to the CMMI level of maturity, level 2 and 3 accounted for more than 75% of the total. The practices at the maturity level of 4 and 5 were mapped to more than 52% of the final result's measurements. It has been observed that CMMI practices need further elaboration at higher levels to consider prevention, appraisal, and final results simultaneously. Conclusion: In order to improve the quality performance of the organization by applying CMMI, the final result measures should be refined in metrics, cycles, and methods, and then corrective actions could be conducted to improve the performance of CMMI practices. This strategy would help the practitioners benefit from CMMI in fostering the overall quality level of key activities for the organization's business goals.

입원환자의 낙상 실태 및 위험요인 조사연구 (Incidence of Falls and Risk Factors of Falls in Inpatients)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to report the incidence of falls in hospitals and analyze the risk factors for falls. Methods: This study used data on 1,216 patients who experienced falls from 2015 to 2017 during their hospitalization. The data was collected from the falls incident reports and patient' electronic medical record of hospital. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics using Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test and multiple Poisson regression analysis with the SAS 9.4 Results: The incidence of falls was 1.38 per 1,000 patients days (2015), 1.81 per 1,000patients days (2016) and 1.99 per 1,000patients days (2017). The incidence of injury caused by falls (level III~V) was 0.05 per 1,000patients days (2015), 0.04 per 1,000patients days (2016) and 0.06 per 1,000patients days (2017). The largest number of falls occurred during night shift (42.5%), specifically in the patients' room (70.8%), and medical unit (66.0%). Average age of fallers was 69.1 years and 61.7% of them were older than 71 years. CCI and the patient's department have statistically significant differences in injury or injury levels from falls, but the integrated nursing care services had no significant difference in injury or injury levels from falls. Conclusion: The result of this study can be used as a reference for establishing a fall prevention strategy for hospitalized patients by presenting index values such as the fall rate.

Potential Therapeutic Strategy in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Using Pioglitazone-Augmented Wharton's Jelly-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells

  • Background: A recent study reported that mesenchymal stem cells possess potential cellular therapeutic properties for treating patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which is characterized by emphysema. We examined the potential therapeutic effect of Wharton's Jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells (WJMSCs), following pretreatment with pioglitazone, in lung regeneration mouse emphysema models. Methods: We used two mouse emphysema models, an elastase-induced model and a cigarette smoke-induced model. We intravenously injected WJMSCs ($1{\times}10^4/mouse$) to mice, pretreated or not, with pioglitazone for 7 days. We measured the emphysema severity by mean linear intercepts (MLI) analysis using lung histology. Results: Pioglitazone pretreated WJMSCs (pioWJMSCs) were associated with greater lung regeneration than non-augmented WJMSCs in the two mouse emphysema models. In the elastase-induced emphysema model, the MLIs were $59.02{\pm}2.42{\mu}m$ (n=6), $72.80{\pm}2.87{\mu}m$ (n=6), for pioWJMSCs injected mice, and non-augmented WJMSCs injected mice, respectively (p<0.01). Both pioWJMSCs and non-augmented WJMSCs showed regenerative effects in the cigarette smoke emphysema model (MLIs were $41.25{\pm}0.98$ [n=6] for WJMSCs and $38.97{\pm}0.61{\mu}m$ [n=6] for pioWJMSCs) compared to smoking control mice ($51.65{\pm}1.36{\mu}m$, n=6). The mean improvement of MLI appeared numerically better in pioWJMSCs than in non-augmented WJMSCs injected mice, but the difference did not reach the level of statistical significance (p=0.071). Conclusion: PioWJMSCs may produce greater lung regeneration, compared to non-augmented WJMSCs, in a mouse emphysema model.

Effect of chemical concentrations on strength and crystal size of biocemented sand

  • Biocementation due to the microbially induced calcium carbonate precipitation (MICP) process is a potential technique that can be used for soil improvement. However, the effect of biocementation may be affected by many factors, including nutrient concentration, bacterial strains, injection strategy, temperature, pH, and soil type. This study investigates mainly the effect of chemical concentration on the formation of calcium carbonate (e.g., quantity, size, and crystalline structure) and unconfined compressive strength (UCS) using different treatment time and chemical concentration in the biotreatment. Two chemical concentrations (0.5 and 1.0 M) and three different treatment times (2, 4, and 8 cycles) were studied. The effect of chemical concentrations on the treatment was also examined by making the total amount of chemicals injected to be the same, but using different times of treatment and chemical concentrations (8 cycles for 0.50 M and 4 cycles for 1.00 M). The UCS and CCC were measured and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis was carried out. The SEM images revealed that the sizes of calcium carbonate crystals increased with an increase in chemical concentrations. The UCS values resulting from the treatments using low concentration were slightly greater than those from the treatments using high concentration, given the CCC to be more or less the same. This trend can be attributed to the size of the precipitated crystals, in which the cementation efficiency increases as the crystal size decreases, for a given CCC. Furthermore, in the high concentration treatment, two mineral types of calcium carbonate were precipitated, namely, calcite and amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC). As the crystal shape and morphology of ACC differ from those of calcite, the bonding provided by ACC can be weaker than that provided by calcite. As a result, the conditions of calcium carbonate were affected by test key factors and eventually, contributed to the UCS values.

Kiosk training strategies based on IT educational App for older adults

  • 4차 산업혁명과 코로나19 사태로 인하여, 키오스크와 같은 디지털기기 사용가능 여부는 디지털 격차를 가진 노인에게 생존과 직결되는 문제이다. 본 논문은 고령자 대상 기존 정보화교육의 문제점을 분석하여 고령자의 신체·인지 노화와 라이프 사이클에 맞춤화된 정보화교육 전략을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 고령자 맞춤형 정보화교육은 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 반복 학습을 지원하는 교육용 애플리케이션 기반 IT교육 방법으로서, 키오스크 기능을 기능성게임 형식의 교육용 애플리케이션으로 개발하고 교육 후의 효과성을 실험하였다. 연구방법은 첫째 문헌분석과 FGI를 통하여 고령자 맞춤형 교육용 애플리케이션 UI 사용성 평가 프레임을 제안하고, 둘째 제안한 평가 프레임에 의거한 교육용 애플리케이션 개발, 셋째 키오스크 교육에 교육용 애플리케이션을 활용하여 교육 효과성을 실험하였다. 실험결과, 교육용 애플리케이션 사용한 후의 미션 성공률은 80.6%로 사용 전(25.5%)과 비교하여 55.1%P의 향상과 함께 미션성공 소요시간도 단축하였다. 본 연구는 비대면 상황에서 제안한 정보화교육이 기존 교육의 한계를 극복할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

커피전문점의 문화 마케팅이 고객만족에 미치는 영향 : 제주도 카페를 중심으로 (The Effects of Cultural Marketing on Customer Satisfaction of Coffee Shops: Focused on Jeju Island Cafe)

  • Purpose - Since the number of cafés operated by using cultural marketing in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province is increasing, this study emphasizes the necessity of cultural marketing, which is a different strategy of specialty coffee shops, focusing on Jeju Island. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of positive effects of service quality and brand image on customer satisfaction through cultural marketing. Research design, data, and methodology - It emphasizes the necessity of cultural marketing of specialty coffee shops, and how the positive effects of service quality and brand image brought through cultural promotion, culture support, cultural support, cultural enterprise influence customer satisfaction. The results of this study are as follows. In order to verify the research hypothesis of this study, Jeju residents who have experience using cultural marketing conducted in coffee shops in Jeju Island are targeted. The cafe in Jeju area, which runs from April 4 to April 14, 2018. A total of 110 copies of the questionnaire were distributed, and the final 100 copies were used as final empirical analysis data. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, promotion and culture business activities have positive influence on brand image. Second, production and cultural business activities had positive effects. Third, brand image has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Fourth, service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Conclusions - The implications of this study are following as: First, if you want to grow into a cultural enterprise in the province by enhancing your brand image, you need to prioritize cultural direction and business direction for cultural companies among sub-factors of cultural marketing. Second, it is necessary to improve the customer satisfaction through the improvement of the brand image considering the composition of the stores in the city, the facilities and the atmosphere, and the consumer tendency such as product and customer age.

Mid-term (2009-2019) demographic dynamics of young beech forest in Albongbunji Basin, Ulleungdo, South Korea

  • Background: The stem exclusion stage is a stage of forest development that is important for understanding the subsequent understory reinitiation stage and maturation stage during which horizontal heterogeneity is formed. Over the past 11 years (2009-2019), we observed a deciduous broad-leaved forest in the Albongbunji Basin in Ulleungdo, South Korea in its stem exclusion stage, where Fagus engleriana (Engler's beech) is the dominant species, thereby analyzing the changes in the structure (density and size distributions), function (biomass and species richness), and demographics. Results: The mean stem density data presented a bell-shaped curve with initially increasing, peaking, and subsequently decreasing trends in stem density over time, and the mean biomass data showed a sigmoidal pattern indicating that the rate of biomass accumulation slowed over time. Changes in the density and biomass of Fagus engleriana showed a similar trend to the changes in density and biomass at the community level, which is indicative of the strong influence of this species on the changing patterns of forest structure and function. Around 2015, a shift between recruitment and mortality rates was observed. Deterministic processes were the predominant cause of tree mortality in our study; however, soil deposition that began in 2017 in some of the quadrats resulted in an increase in the contribution of stochastic processes (15% in 2019) to tree mortality. The development of horizontal heterogeneity was observed in forest gaps. Conclusions: Our observations showed a dramatic shift between the recruitment and mortality rates in the stem exclusion stage, and that disturbance increases the uncertainty in forest development increases. The minor changes in species composition are likely linked to regional species pool and the limited role of the life-history strategy of species such as shade tolerance and habitat affinity. Our midterm records of ecological succession exhibited detailed demographic dynamics and contributed to the improvement of an ecological perspective in the stem exclusion stage.

Customer Satisfaction Management and Service Quality According to the DISC Behavior Type

  • Purpose: This study aims to explore the service improvement and marketing strategy to measure the effect of the DISC (dominance, influence, steadiness, conscientiousness) behavior type of hair salon workers on service quality and marketing. Research design, data and methodology: 236 responses were analyzed by distributing questionnaires to hair salon workers through SNS. Factor analysis and reliability analysis were applied and the influence of job factors on work satisfaction and turnover intention, and the statistical significance of the DISC behavioral type adjustment effect verified. Results: First, among the general characteristics of the survey subjects, the most common respondents were women and interns in their twenties, with less than four years of experience and less than three years of work experience on site. Second, the working environment, employee relations and compensation policies caused by work-related factors have shown a major influence on work satisfaction. Third, the working environment and human relationships among the job factors have an impact on turnover intention. Conclusions: The working environment, human relations, and compensation system derived as job factors had a crucial effect in service quality and marketing on job satisfaction, and among job factors, working environment and human relations had a significant influence on turnover intention.

적외선 영상, 라이다 데이터 및 특성정보 융합 기반의 합성곱 인공신경망을 이용한 건물탐지 (Building Detection by Convolutional Neural Network with Infrared Image, LiDAR Data and Characteristic Information Fusion)

  • 딥러닝(DL)을 이용한 객체인식, 탐지 및 분할하는 연구는 여러 분야에서 활용되고 있으며, 주로 영상을 DL 모델의 학습 데이터로 사용하고 있지만, 본 논문은 영상뿐 아니라 공간정보 특성을 포함하는 다양한 학습 데이터(multimodal training data)를 향상된 영역기반 합성곱 신경망(R-CNN)인 Detectron2 모델 학습에 사용하여 객체를 분할하고 건물을 탐지하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 적외선 항공영상과 라이다 데이터의 내재된 객체의 윤곽 및 통계적 질감정보인 Haralick feature와 같은 여러 특성을 추출하였다. DL 모델의 학습 성능은 데이터의 수량과 특성뿐 아니라 융합방법에 의해 좌우된다. 초기융합(early fusion)과 후기융합(late fusion)의 혼용방식인 하이브리드 융합(hybrid fusion)을 적용한 결과 33%의 건물을 추가적으로 탐지 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 실험 결과는 서로 다른 특성 데이터의 복합적 학습과 융합에 의한 상호보완적 효과를 입증하였다고 판단된다.

교양 컴퓨팅 사고력 과목의 학습자 학습동기 향상을 위한 ARCS 모델의 적용 및 효과 분석 (Application and Effect Analysis of ARCS Model to Improve Learner's Learning Motivation in Liberal Computational Thinking Subjects)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 ARCS 모형을 적용한 컴퓨팅 사고력 수업에 대한 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 컴퓨팅 사고력 교육과 ARCS 모델에 대한 선행연구를 통해 ARCS의 각 동기요소(주의집중(A), 관련성(R), 자신감(C), 만족감(S))에 따른 세부 수업 전략을 설계하였다. 그리고 ARCS 모델을 적용한 실험반과 일반적인 수업을 실시한 비교반의 학습동기 검사결과를 비교하였다. 그 결과, 실험반의 학생들이 컴퓨팅 사고력 수업에 대한 학습동기가 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 특히 컴퓨터 전공 관련 학생들의 학습 동기는 비교반에 비해 현저히 높게 나타났으며 전공 학생들은 관련성(R) 영역이, 비전공 학생들은 만족감(S) 영역이 높게 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 결과를 토대로 향후 효과적인 교양 교육에서의 컴퓨팅 사고력 수업에 대한 개선을 제안하였다.
