Production Control System(PCS) can be used in controlling productivity effectively. The system provides the workers and managers and with the management information. The objective of PCS is to improve and optimize productivity in practice. To achieve this goal, PCS must be applied in many Industries. Information System at Point Of Production(POP) is the system that helps worker and managers to analyze the various information at production line in practice. In this paper, we propose a new developed Client/Server POP System using "Bar Code." The new system can be integrated and communicated with CIM. The developed system can be used by engineers, managers, to improve productivity in practice. practice.

The main purpose of HITES(Highly Integrated Total Energy System) is to build and develop an integrated energy system for power system operational planning and analysis which consists of load forecast, economic generation schedule, stability analysis and relational database system. The HITES can be utilized to supply a stable electric power and operate KEPCO's power system facilities economically. This system was put into operation in 1999. This paper describes the present condition for operation of HITES and proposes the plan to improve this system after installation.

A battle management system should be introduced to improve mission success capabilities and accommodate integrated combat capabilities through increasing SA(Situation Awareness), or spatiotemporal synchronization of military operation in battle field environment. Conventional Korean Main Battle Tanks(Korean MBTs), which have been operated without digital network, were developed for 1980s. Korean new MBTs, which are mounted the battle management system, will be fielded soon. Therefore, old Korean MBT is needed to improve performances for co-operation with new one. This paper is reviewed each improved MBTs of world countries and domestic maintenance facilities. And this study suggests some processing methods which might be applicable to improve information network performance of old Korean MBTs.

최근 GPS(Global Positioning System) 기술들을 활용하여 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 위성신호를 수신 받을 때 문제가 발생할 경우 정확도가 현저히 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 정확도 향상을 위해 GPS 기술과 지정된 위치에 대한 정보를 제공하는 GIS(Geographic Information System) 기술을 융합하는 시스템을 설계한다. 지정된 위치 정보와 사용자의 위치 정보를 비교하여 해당 위치에 대한 사용자의 진입여부를 판별한다. 이에 따라 GIS 기술을 활용하여 지정된 위치 정보를 사용자가 제공받으면 위성신호 수신에 방해가 있는 경우에도 위치 정보의 정확도가 향상될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the current operational status and problems of the Public Warning System (PWS) in China, and to propose feasible solutions to improve the performance and efficiency of the PWS through a comparative analysis with the Cell Broadcast Service (CBS)-based disaster SMS system adopted by other developed countries in the world. Design/methodology/approach In this study, the characteristics of PWS using SMS, applications, and CBS, respectively, are analyzed in detail, and compared and analyzed in terms of convenience, standardization, data security, speed, and location accuracy. In addition, CBS-based PWS in developed countries, such as U.S., E.U., Korea and Japan, were studied and their performance on key criteria was evaluated. Findings Based on the results of the study, the problems of China's PWS are summarized and recommendations are made to improve the PWS through the introduction of CBS technology. To this end, specific improvement measures are proposed in terms of the application of CBS technology, system construction and operation, and improvement of data security. In addition, the comparative analysis of PWSs in other developed countries is conducted to provide reference for the direction of PWS's improvement.

The domestic professional engineer qualification system has been changed after the enactment of the law in 1963. However, the domestic professional engineers have been unaccepted and unrecognized internationally. In addition, the domestic professional engineer system is operated in accordance with the individual laws of each ministry, but the official qualification examination is conducted by the Human Resource Development Service of Korea. Thus, the domestic professional engineer system has many problems in system itself and operating. In this research, we compare the domestic qualification system with the systems of other foreign countries, and propose how to improve the qualification system. This study limits the scope to the qualification examination for P·E. We suggest 3 ways to improve the qaulification examination; (1) The structure of the qualifications, (2) The testing method, and (3) The unification of the qualification system and operation.

This paper describes the possible way to improve the capacity, the efficiency and the pressure drop of $CO_2$ system. It is considered the use of an internal heat exchanger (IHX) to improve the performance of the $CO_2$ system. Experiment was performed by changing a tube shape, a tube number and a tube length of IHX to investigate the performance of IHX for $CO_2$ system. The focus of the present study is to obtain the concept on IHX optimal design. Experimental results show that design parameters are closely related with the capacity and the pressure drop of $CO_2$ system. In the transcritical $CO_2$ cycle, the system performance is very sensitive to the IHX design. System performance on operation condition and shape of IHX is also introduced.

In this study, the hydraulic breaker system was analyzed and the analysis tool using GUI was developed. The analysis on the system with the accumulator was included. from the parametric analysis, the effects of each factor were revealed. Through the simulation with varying parameters, the method to improve the performance of the hydraulic breaker system was presented. The analysis tool will help a man without special knowledge about programming analyzse the hydraulic breaker system. The result of this study will help improve the hydraulic breaker system in sight of "Blow energy" and "Blows per minute".ws per minute".uot;.

The introduction of the wholesalers system is being considered from various aspects in order to improve the problems of the listed auction system of wholesale corporations. The wholesalers system is a corporation that receives designation from the creator and purchases or consigns agricultural and fishery products to wholesale or broker sales, and has the advantage of reducing the distribution stage and distribution costs. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the wholesalers system introduced to improve the problems of the listed auction system of wholesale corporations through a case study of market wholesalers handling fishery products.

We had been developing the variety of parallel processing systems in order to improve the processing speed of visual media applications. These systems were using multi-access memory system(MAMS) as a parallel memory system, which provides the capability of the simultaneous accesses of image points in a line-segment with an arbitrary degree, which is required in many low-level image processing operations such as edge or line detection in a particular direction, and so on. But, the performance of these systems did not give a faithful speed because of asynchronous feature between MAMS and processing elements. To improve the processing speed of these systems, we have been investigated a pipelined parallel processing system using MAMS. Although the system is considered as being the single instruction multiple data(SIMD) type like the early developed systems, the performance of the system yielded about 2.5 times faster speed.
