3D CAD technology has been extended to a medical area including dental clinic beyond industrial design. The 2D images obtained by CT(Computerized Tomography) and MRI(Magnetic Resonance Imaging) are not intuitive, and thus the volume rendering technique, which transforms 2D data into 3D anatomic information, has been in practical use. This paper has focused on a method and its implementation for forming 3D geometric surface model from laminated CT images of the pubis. The implemented system could support a dental clinic to observe and examine the status of a patient's pubis before implant surgery. The supplement of 3D implant model would help dental surgeons settle operation plans more safely and confidently. It also would be utilized with teaching materials for a practice and training.

This study presents technical description of the operating program development that operates the test bench for functional test of EECU. The test bench is capable of testing, simulation and adjustment of the EECU software using the operating program. The test bench is for the Development Project of the EECU platform for FADEC system. The operating program is consists of 3 modules which are the test bench operating module, cockpit simulator module and SILS module. The operating module mainly carries out the EECU test with manual operation and operating scenarios. Also that record and process the test data. The cockpit simulator module is capable of implementation of virtual cockpit control input and engine status display. The SILS module can simulate engine and EECU operation in software environment.

A complete study of the nutritive value of foods in Korea is required as essential basic data in the planning of food supply and demand, the implementation of national nutritive survey and the development of dietary improvement, nutritional education and various nutritional administration projects. The kinds, numbers and nutritive value of foods we consume in our everyday life vary markedly according to the weather, soils, and the economic system of the region. A study of the current status of Korea in terms of the nutritional value of foods consumed is urgently required. For this reason, a study was conducted of 29 kinds of foods including 5 kinds of mushrooms, 19 kinds of vegetables and 5 kinds of seafoods. The foods examined were randomly collected from major markets in Seoul. The results are summarized in the accompanying tables.

This study developed a new model for evaluating activities related to PL(Product Liability), with which our domestic enterprises can more easily assess the actual status of the management of PL than as they could do before. In addition, this model was designed to make the evaluation can be done focusing on the Product safety management cycle, unlike the other PL evaluation models. This model consists of 3 evaluation domains such as evaluations of planning, implementation, and assessment and taking action regarding product safety management. In order to verify that this evaluation model meets its objectives, the researcher directly conducted evaluations of activities related to PL in 3 companies specializing in electric home appliances through visiting them.

Purpose： The purpose of this study was to investigate the expectations toward a tele-health surveillance system by residents of an information network village. Method： A descriptive study was conducted using interviews with a questionnaire. Of the households in the village, 24 were selected for inclusion in a pilot study. All of the residents from these households, for a total of 67, participated in the survey. Result： Expectations for promotion of health by a tele-health surveillance system were higher in residents with higher level of education. Expectations for effectiveness of disease management and promotion of health status by a tele-health surveillance system were higher in residents with family history or experience with emergencies. The higher scores for health knowledge and health concerns were associated with higher expectations for effectiveness of disease management and promotion of health by a tele-health surveillance system Conclusion： Analysis of the characteristic of the residents should precede implementation of a tele-health surveillance system in any location as expectations for tele-health surveillance system differ according to the characteristics.

In this paper, we investigate the various opportunities of women informatization, which we believe to be major contributors for the high quality of life for women. We first justify various efforts for women informatization, which needs to be based on the analysis of the problems and the status quo. We have also examined the related government policies and programs as well as the programs of non-profit organizations for woman, and identified key problems areas. Integrating the results from this analysis, we have developed the vision and the framework for women informatization. We also give a list of strategic alternatives for improving quality of life through informatization, and promoting full-time housewives to become aggressive information users, information producers and information specialists. We use the expert Delphi method and fish-bone chart analysis to generate the priorities of specific tasks and target-based strategies for successful implementation of women informatization. We conclude this paper with various recommendations for empowering women to enjoy high-quality living through the process of informatization.

This paper proposes an ontology-based context-aware home healthcare platform employing environmental factors obtained from home. The proposed platform manages the health of home residents, and notifies relatives or a medical team of critical condition through context-awareness based on home ontology by using information sensed from various sensors. The ontology definition of context-awareness from the sensed information provides technically more precise decision for us. Therefore the platform can be aware of the health state of residents and environment by reasoning exactly from data gathered from various sensors and heterogeneous devices. The platform also can individually provide the customized service for users by setting priority for critical status that can be occurred in the health state of residents.

There are many problems with the fire detection devices being used in currently, because it is difficult to find location of the source of fire and determine where devices are working or not. In this paper, we proposed fire detection and rescue system using wireless sensor network that can be real-time monitoring and determine safe exit. Fire detection and rescue system based on ubiquitous sensor network can know exactly source of fire and help determine rescue tactics using sensing data from wireless sensor nodes. Transmitted wirelessly in real-time thermal sensor and gas sensor information to analyze the GUI to monitor the status information output to the screen by use of a system implemented in everyday life, looked at the possibility.

In the light of the strategic utilization of the national R & D projects, this paper is to induce the spin-off strategies to improve the national R & D effectiveness through analyzing the spin-off characteristics of nuclear technologies, the spin-off status of the advanced countries and the case study of Korean nuclear spin-offs. Spin-off process is viewed as a three-stage operation, such as preparation stage, implementation stage and maintenance stage. In order to find the correlation between the influencing factors and spin-off effectiveness, the Spearman's correlation coefficient was employed as a specific statistical technique. By integrating this correlation, spin-off process and spin-off strategies, this paper presents an efficient framework to improve the spin-off effectiveness.
