Recently, network infra grows rapidly and the digital image compression technique have made remarkable progress, and therefore the demand of the real-time image surveillance system which uses a network camera server is increasing. Network Camera Server has emerged as an attractive alternative to the CCTV for the real-time image surveillance. From this reason, the demand regarding the development of the real-time image surveillance system which uses a network camera server is increasing as well. In this paper, we will provide a model for JPEG Streamer which is used in real-time image surveillance system. And we will design and implement this model. For the stability and efficiency of the JPEG Streamer, we'll use the thread pool and shared memory. We will also introduce the concept of double buffering for increasing the quality of real-time image, Using the JPEG Streamer, a raising of the productivity, reliability and stability will be able to secure to development of real-time image surveillance system.

Satellite and aerial images are effectively used to monitor ecological and environmental situation. More and more officials in the Ministry of Environment thus need to utilize these image data for various administrative affairs. However, it is difficult not only to deliver to the officials these image data mostly of large capacity through network but also for them to actively use the delivered data without specialized knowledge in remote sensing and image processing. Therefore, we established a large rapacity image data service system employing image compressive transmission and web-based image processing techniques. This system allows the officials to rapidly access all the associated image data and conveniently utilize the data using various functions implemented for remote sensing, image processing, GIS operations. Consequently, this system have been actively utilized for the decision making processes of the officials and hence accomplished a great reduction in the resources required for the data analysis for various administrative affairs.

The purpose of this study was to develop a strategy for the promotion of the image of nursing. The study questions were; Do nurses have a proper self image\ulcorner What image of nursing do the public have\ulcorner It is thought that the prejudices that the public have about nursing personnel have to be eliminated in order to provide for better health care. Even though the public have misconceptions of prejudices, nurses have not paid much attention to them, nor sought ways to change them. This study was designated to make out a model project to improve the image of nursing held by the public. This study was a strategy building descriptive study. This study was oriented to a model project to improve the image of nursing. The subjects for the study were 650 nurses who were staff nurses. The study procedures were as follow ; First step ; a special action committe for nursmg image making was established of nine members who were divided into five subgroups. 2nd step ; a 1st workshop was held to improve self concept of nurses and to recognize them the necessity of nursing image development, a 2nd workshop was held to develop a conceptual framewrk for the action plan and for budget planning. 3rd step ; a master plan for a nursing image was developed and evaluated through discussion and presentation. 4th step ; lecture and role playing were used to further the development of a caring attitude in the nurse. 5th step ; a situation oriented video film was made and previewed the film is done for nurses and doctors, and lastly ; an academic symposium was held to redefine and reinforce the nursing image under the title of future directed nursing for Yonsei University, at this time three nurses were given awards for demonstrating a caring attitude in order to motivate nurses to develop a care oriented attitude.

The purpose of this study is to establish a reference for image acquisition for completion of a standard brain for diverse Korean population, and to develop a management system that saves and manage database of the acquired brain image and personal information of those who were tested. 3D MP-RAGE technique, which has excellent SNR and CNR and reduces the times for image acquisition, was selected for anatomical Image acquisition, and parameter values were obtained for the optimal image acquisition. The database management system was devised to obtain not only anatomical image data but also subjects' basic demographic factors, medical history, handedness inventory state-trait anxiety inventory, A-type personality inventory, self-assessment depression inventory questionnaires of Sasang Constitution Mini-Mental State Examination, intelligence test, and personality test via a survey questionnaire and to save and manage the results of the tests. In addition, this system was designed to have functions of saving, inserting, deleting, searching, and Printing of image da a and personal information of subjects, and to have accessibility to them as well as automatic connection setup with ODBC. This newly developed system may have major contribution to the completion of a standard brain of diverse Korean population in that it can save and manage their image date and personal information.

This study was to consider the development strategy of Jeju Marine leisure equipment industry for facilitating marine leisure tourism industry. For achieving this goal, the case studies related to domestic & foreign marine leisure equipment industry, interviews of marine leisure equipment company, the contents of specialist consultation meeting were used in this study. The strategies for promoting were suggested in progress that step 1 was the expansion of maintenance infrastructure as of a port of call, step 2 was the establishing of marie leisure tourism image, step 3 was the integration of marine leisure equipment industry. More specific suggestions were followed. As an aspect of infrastructure, the expansion of management of marine leisure equipment such as yacht, development of marina having similar image of Jeju were suggested. As an aspect of law/institution, the development of financial support system on the marine leisure equipment, promotion of establishment of professional education institutions were suggested. As an aspect of contents/programs, the hosting the exhibition of marine leisure used equipment of international trade, the development of environmental-friendly program associated with cruise were suggested, Finally, as an aspect of promotion/marketing, the promotions linked with drama & movie industry, the strategy of improvement of negative image to the yacht industry were suggested.

Due to the increasing demand for more rapid, precise and accurate geolocation of the targets on video frames from UAVs, an efficient and timely method for correcting sensor models of motion imagery is required. In this paper, we propose a method to adjust or correct sensor models of motion imagery frames using space resection via image matching with reference data. The proposed method adopts image matching between the motion imagery frames and the reference frames which are synthesized from reference data. Ground or reference control points are generated or selected through the matching process in near real time, and are used for space resection to get adjusted sensor models. Finally, more precise and accurate geolocation of the targets can possibly be done on the fly, and we have got the promising result on performance analysis in terms of the geolocation quality.

SAR signal processing technique has been considered a crucial technical part in order to generate an image from radar signal data and ADD (Agency for Defense Development) has focused on this area for years to develope our own SAR Processor for various SAR systems (Radarsat, ERS, KOMSAR). In this paper, we investigated major techniques related to generation of SAR images and developed ASPR (ADD SAR Processor for Radarsat) practically using the commercial Radarsat-1 radar signal data (RAW). We demonstrated the performance of the ASPR in comparison with the image generated by MDA and Vexcel's SAR Processor (FOCUS).

The Study to verify the relations between the store choice behavior and the interior environmental image. the point of view is that the image of store affects the behavior of customers when they choose the store for shopping. The method used for this study is library survey for constructing the store choice model and the field survey for veryfying the model. The store choice behavior of customers occurs according to the procedure : environment exposure-development of cognitive structure-image developing by the emotional response-attitude decision- purchasing. The image of a store is one of the very important elements in marketing stragy. The group which showed the affirmative response to the emvironmental design aspects also showed the high affirmative response to the store image. The group which showed consistent response to the image of store and the image of him/herself showed more affirmative response to the environmental design aspects. Good image to a store affects affirmative attitude of customers and it consequently the store choice behavior

Satellite and aerial images are very useful means to monitor ecological and environmental situation. Nowadays more and more officials at Ministry of Environment in Korea need to access and use these image data through networks like internet or intranet. However it is very hard to manage and service these image data through internet or intranet, because of its size problem. In this paper very large image data service system for Ministry of Environment is constructed on web environment using image compression and web based image processing technology. Through this system, not only can officials in Ministry of Environment access and use all the image data but also can achieve several image processing effects on web environment. Moreover officials can retrieve attribute information from vector GIS data that are also integrated with the system.

A 1-chip high quality binarizing VLSI image processor (which has 8 bit ADC. 6 bit flash ADC, 15K standard cell, and 1K word ROM) based on 10 MIPS 16 bit DSP is implemented for FAX. This image processor(IP) performs image pre-processing. image quality improvement in copying and sending mode, and mixed image processing based on the fuzzy theory. And smoothing in sub-scan direction is applied for normal receiving mode data so the received data is enhanced like fine mode data. Each algorithm is processed with the same type of image processing window and 2-D image processing is implemented with a 1-D line buffer. The fabricated chip is applied to a FAX machine and image quality improvement is verified.
