  • We propose appropriate criteria for obtaining fish species data and number of learning data, as well as for selecting the most appropriate convolutional neural network (CNN) to efficiently classify exotic invasive fish species for their extermination. The acquisition of large amounts of fish species data for CNN learning is subject to several constraints. To solve these problems, we acquired a large number of fish images for various fish species in a laboratory environment, rather than a natural environment. We then converted the obtained fish images into fish images acquired in different natural environments through simple image synthesis to obtain the image data of the fish species. We used the images of largemouth bass and bluegill captured at a pond as test data to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method. In addition, to classify the exotic invasive fish species accurately, we evaluated the trained CNNs in terms of classification performance, processing time, and the number of data; consequently, we proposed a method to select the most effective CNN.

  • Currently, it is usually a 3D scanner processing method as a laser method. However, the laser method has a disadvantage of slow scanning speed and poor precision. Although optical scanners are used as a method to compensate for these shortcomings, optical scanners are closely related to the distance and precision of the object, and have the disadvantage of being expensive. In this paper, 3D scanner using variable focus lens-based structured light module with improved measurement precision was designed to be high performance, low price, and usable in industrial fields. To this end, designed a telecentric optical system based on a variable focus lens and connected to the telecentric mechanism of the step motor and lens to adjust the focus of the variable lens. Designed a connection structure with optimized scalability of hardware circuits that configures a stepper motor to form a system with a built-in processor. In addition, by applying an algorithm that can simultaneously acquire high-resolution texture image and depth information and apply image synthesis technology and GPU-based high-speed structured light processing technology, it is also stable for changes to external light. We will designed and implemented for further improving high measurement precision.

  • In this paper, we developed on internet based assembly information display system for the blind. The system is consist of hardware and software. The hardware is consist of a voice synthesis device and a tactile display for character information, and the software is consist of internet web browser for the blind and braille program. The tactile-device system consists of a control unit, pin array, pin generator, serial port, and a power supply. The pin exerted by a electromagnetic method, solenoid. The internet web browser separates the character and image from internet web page, and character information in the web page is converted to braille and fed to sound system. Also the image in the web page can be printed developed tactile display. As the results of experiment, the blind could access the internet web site by using this system and understand various internet information.

  • In this study, we presented a newly synthesized pyrene-naphthalene diimide(NDI)-pyrene triad. The optical and structural properties were examined using various characterization techniques. A donor-acceptor-donor triad molecule exhibited a strong charge transfer, though there existed neither intramolecular nor intermolecular hydrogen bonding sites, due to the formation of preferential complementary complex between pyrene and NDI. Powder XRD measurement revealed a sharp and distinctive X-ray patterns, indicating the presence of microcrystalline-like structure. POM images showed anisotropic fingerprint texture similar to that of cholesteric phase, and SEM images showed numerous columnar structures with length of 1 to $10{\mu}m$. Above observation clearly demonstrated that ${\pi}$-complementary NDI-pyrene interactions in the traid was strong enough to form columnar aggregates in the long range.

  • We present the results of an H I aperture synthesis mosaic of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), made by combining data from 1344 separate pointing centers using the Australia Telescope Compact' Array (ATCA) and the Parkes multibeam receiver. The resolution of the mosaiced images is 50" (<15 pc, using a distance to the LMC of 55kpc). This mosaic, with a spatial resolution .15 times higher than that which had been previously obtained, emphasises the turbulent and fractal structure of the ISM on the small scale, resulting from the dynamical feedback of the star formation processes with the ISM. We also have done a widefield panoramic survey of H$\alpha$ emission from the Magellanic Clouds with an imager mounted on the 16-inch telescope at Siding Spring Observatory. This survey produced H$\alpha$ images which are equal to the ATCA survey in area coverage and resolution. This survey allows us to produce a continuum-subtracted image of the entire LMC. In contrast with its appearance in the H$\alpha$ image, the LMC is remarkably symmetric in H I on the largest scales, with the bulk of the H I residing in a disk of diameter 8. $^{\circ}4$ (7.3 kpc) and a spiral structure is clearly seen. The structure of the neutral atomic ISM in the LMC is dominated by H I filaments combined with numerous shells and holes.

  • For the high quality 3-D broadcasting, depth maps are important data. Although commercially available depth cameras capture high-accuracy depth maps in real time, their resolutions are much smaller than those of the corresponding color images due to technical limitations. In this paper, we propose the depth map up-sampling method using a high-resolution color image and a low-resolution depth map. We define a random walk probability model in an operation unit which has nearest seed pixels. The proposed method is appropriate to match boundaries between the color image and the depth map. Experimental results show that our method enhances the depth map resolution successfully.

  • This paper is for investigation and analysis of how a visual studio is widely used by domestic broadcasting companies and broadcasting companies' production environment. The history of a visual studio goes back to start of computer graphic. A visual studio is a way to produce a program using graphic sets created by a computer rather than actual setting, and it allows to express beyond limitations of actual studio settings and various imagery visual effects can be created by a computer. A visual studio can create 3-dimensional graphic and these graphics can be inter-locked with actual camera images to make visual spaces for various programs. These flows are aiming to achieve very natural image which is hard to distinguish it is artificially created rather than just to produce programs with simple image synthesis, and this paper analyzes the producing changes of domestic broadcasting visual studios as well as its usage and suggests the idealist direction for developing the production.

  • This thesis is the analysis of programing cases by which each broadcasting station generates visual studio. When the broadcasting stations make programs, they overcome the visual limitation of expression by using visual studio other than the real set. This trend is the progress toward more realistic and delicate image by almost perfect image expression, not just broadcasting production by mere synthesis operation. It suggests the development direction toward visual studio production by analyzing production cases using domestic visual studio.

  • In this paper, we develop a beamforming front end platform with pipeline circuit configuration method that can apply various clinical diagnostic applications of ultrasound image technology. Hardware design targets compression applications as well as scalable applications where power, integration levels and replication possibilities are important. Firmware design was implemented to achieve optimal FPGA parallel processing level by constructing new IP and system-oriented design environment to accelerate design productivity with maximum productivity improvement using Vivado HLS tool, which is a next generation high level synthesis tool. Former supports the high-speed management function of scan data that can create an image area arbitrarily and can be appropriately corrected and supplemented when reconfiguring or changing system specifications in the future.

  • There is growing interest in ultra-high-resolution content that gives a more realistic sense of presence than existing broadcast content. However, in order to provide ultra-high-resolution contents in existing broadcast services, there are limitations in view angle and resolution of the image acquisition device. In order to solve this problem, many researches on stitching, which is an image synthesis method using a plurality of input devices, have been conducted. In this paper, we propose method of dynamic object based video stitching using minimal error seam in order to overcome the temporal invariance degradation of moving objects in the stitching process of horizontally oriented videos.
