사용자 선호에 기반한 효율적 최대 휘소 가시화 알고리즘의 선택 방법 (Algorithm Selection Method for Efficient Maximum Intensity Projection Based on User Preference)

  • Maximum intensity projection (MIP) is a common visualization technique in medical imaging system. A typical method to improve the performance of MIP is empty space leaping, which skips unnecessary area. This research proposes a new method to improve the existing empty space leaping. In order to skip more regions, we introduce a variety of acceleration strategies that use some tolerance given by the user to take part in image quality loss. Each proposed method shows various image quality and speed, and this study compares them to select the best one. Experimental results show that it is most efficient to add a constant tolerance function when the image quality required by the user is low. Conversely, when the user required image quality is high, a function with a low tolerance of volume center is most effective. Applying the proposed method to general MIP visualization can generate a relatively high quality image in a short time.

QR Barcode Readability Technique of the JPEG Image Based on Digital Watermarking

  • This paper proposes a quick response (QR) barcode watermarking algorithm in order to improve readability of the QR barcode in a JPEG image. The proposed algorithm embeds a watermark in a wavelet based-low frequency band for watermark robustness, and visually extracts a QR barcode after embedding the QR barcode image with confidential information into the original image via imperceptible watermarking technology. The visually extracted QR barcode watermark uses an approach to authenticate the ownership more easily through a common hardware and software-based mobile barcode reader app. Therefore, the QR barcode watermark may improve the ability to easily detect watermarks efficiently as well as imperceptibility and robustness, which is the main watermark requirement by embedding the QR barcode with watermark text information in a digital image and when compare to conventional watermarks.

  • 웹 서비스 신청 단계에서 신청자가 실제 인간 사용자임을 확인하기 위해 사용되는 텍스트 기반 캡차(text-based CAPTCHA)의 변형된 문자를 광학문자인식 기술로 파악하는 것이 가능하기에 캡차의 신뢰성이 떨어지는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 제안되었던 기존의 이미지 기반 캡차(image-based CAPTCHA)에서도 여러 문제점이 존재한다. 인공지능 프로그램을 사용하여 시스템이 보유하고 있는 제한된 수의 이미지 내용을 파악함으로써 신뢰도가 떨어지는 문제가 발생할 수 있으며, 제공된 이미지에 대해 사용자가 다른 유사한 단어를 입력하는 경우에는 오답으로 판정되어 반복적으로 캡차를 시도해야 하는 불편함이 발생 할 수 있으며 또한, 사용자에게 캡차 문제를 제공하기 위해 여러 이미지 파일을 전송해야 하기에 전송 비용의 비효율성 문제가 존재한다. 이러한 기존 이미지 기반 캡차의 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 이미지와 관련 키워드 일부를 융합하여 제공하는 이미지-텍스트 융합 캡차를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 이미지-텍스트 융합 캡차에서는 이미지와 관련된 단어의 일부분을 힌트로 활용하여 쉽게 정답을 입력할 수 있도록 사용자 편리성을 제공하며 이미지와 텍스트를 한 이미지 파일 내에 융합시켰기 때문에 전송 비용을 절약하여 효율성을 증진할 수 있다. 또한, 캡차 시스템의 신뢰성 증진을 위해 인터넷 검색으로 캡차용 이미지를 대량으로 수집하도록 하였으며 수집되는 캡차 이미지의 정확성을 유지하기 위해 필터링 과정을 거치도록 하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 실제 실험을 통해 제안된 이미지-텍스트 융합 캡차가 기존 이미지 기반 캡차보다 사용자에게 편리하고 신뢰성이 증진될 수 있음을 입증하였다.

Research on Camouflaged Encryption Scheme Based on Hadamard Matrix and Ghost Imaging Algorithm

  • A camouflaged encryption scheme based on Hadamard matrix and ghost imaging is proposed. In the process of the encryption, an orthogonal matrix is used as the projection pattern of ghost imaging to improve the definition of the reconstructed images. The ciphertext of the secret image is constrained to the camouflaged image. The key of the camouflaged image is obtained by the method of sparse decomposition by principal component orthogonal basis and the constrained ciphertext. The information of the secret image is hidden into the information of the camouflaged image which can improve the security of the system. In the decryption process, the authorized user needs to extract the key of the secret image according to the obtained random sequences. The real encrypted information can be obtained. Otherwise, the obtained image is the camouflaged image. In order to verify the feasibility, security and robustness of the encryption system, binary images and gray-scale images are selected for simulation and experiment. The results show that the proposed encryption system simplifies the calculation process, and also improves the definition of the reconstructed images and the security of the encryption system.

GAN기반의 Semi Supervised Learning을 활용한 이미지 생성 및 분류 (Image generation and classification using GAN-based Semi Supervised Learning)

  • 본 연구는 GAN(Generative Adversarial Network)을 기반으로 한 Semi Supervised Learning을 활용하여 이미지 생성과 ResNet50을 이용한 이미지 분류를 결합하는 방법에 대해 다루고 있다. 이를 통해 새로운 접근법을 제시하여 이미지 생성과 분류를 통합함으로써 더 정확하고 다양한 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다. 생성자와 판별자를 학습시켜 생성된 이미지와 실제 이미지를 구별하고, ResNet50을 활용하여 이미지 분류를 수행한다. 실험 결과에서는 생성된 이미지의 품질이 epoch에 따라 변화함을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 산업재해 예측 정확성을 향상하고자 한다. 또한, GAN과 ResNet50의 결합을 통해 이미지 생성의 품질을 향상시키고 이미지 분류의 정확도를 높이는 효율적인 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • In this paper we propose algorithms for high resolution image sequence interpolation. Image sequences, in general, are assumed to have greater amount of information than a still image. By this reason, image sequences can be used to improve the resolution of interpolated image sequences. Therefore the proposed algorithms can be the theoretical basis for interpolating dynamic image sequences. In order to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithms, experimental results using both synthetic and real test images are presented.

An image enhancement Method for extracting multi-license plate region

  • In this paper, we propose an image enhancement algorithm to improve license plate extraction rate in various environments (Day Street, Night Street, Underground parking lot, etc.). The proposed algorithm is composed of image enhancement algorithm and license plate extraction algorithm. The image enhancement method can improve an image quality of the degraded image, which utilizes a histogram information and overall gray level distribution of an image. The proposed algorithm employs an interpolated probability distribution value (PDV) in order to control a sudden change in image brightness. Probability distribution value can be calculated using cumulative distribution function (CDF) and probability density function (PDF) of the captured image, whose values are achieved by brightness distribution of the captured image. Also, by adjusting the image enhancement factor of each part region based on image pixel information, it provides a function that can adjust the gradation of the image in more details. This processed gray image is converted into a binary image, which fuses narrow breaks and long thin gulfs, eliminates small holes, and fills gaps in the contour by using morphology operations. Then license plate region is detected based on aspect ratio and license plate size of the bound box drawn on connected license plate areas. The images have been captured by using a video camera or a personal image recorder installed in front of the cars. The captured images have included several license plates on multilane roads. Simulation has been executed using OpenCV and MATLAB. The results show that the extraction success rate is more improved than the conventional algorithms.

Effects of Traditional Firms' Agility Obtained by Adopting Internet Business on Corporate Image and Customer Satisfaction

  • Agility is vital to real-time enterprises in comtemporary dynamic business environment. This study aims to investigate the relationships between traditional shipping and port logistics firms' customer agility obtained by adopting Internet business, and their corporate image and customer satisfaction. Using questionnaire data, factor analyses were used to figure out five major agility factors, corporate image factor, and customer satisfaction factor. The agility factors were then used to investigate how they improve the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction. The results of the regression analyses show that agility factors significantly influence the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction factors.

  • Recently, CMOS image sensor is rapidly used as an image capture device such as mobile phone or notebook PC. Because of poor quality of image by CMOS image sensor, ISP is essential step to improve image quality. In this paper, we implemented and simulated ISP algorithm for real time moving picture of CMOS image sensor. Especial Iy, we concentrated on color interpolation, which extracts three color component from uncompleted color information. Several algorithms for color interpolation are implemented and analyzed to acquire a good quality of picture. Finally, we proposed an improved algorithm and confirmed the effectiveness by experimental simulation results.

  • We present a new scheme to increase the performance of edge-preserving image smoothing from the parameter tuning of a Markov random field (MRF) function. The method is based on automatic control of the image smoothing-strength in MRF model ing in which an introduced parameter function is based on control of enforcing power of a discontinuity-adaptive Markov function and edge magnitude resulted from discontinuities of image intensity. Without any binary decision for the edge magnitude, adaptive control of the enforcing power with the full edge magnitude could improve the performance of discontinuity-preserving image smoothing.
