  • 이미지검색을 위해서 객체의 시각적인 특징에 대한 저차원의 특징 정보를 추출하고 이미지에 의미를 부여하기 위하여 주석을 다는 것이 일반적이다. 하지만 주석 기반 검색에서는 주석으로 달아 놓은 단어와 정확한 매칭이 없다면 찾을 수가 없다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 재질의 질의어 확장과 같은 기법을 써서 문제를 해결해 왔으나 여전히 개념적 매칭이 아닌 스트링 매칭의 문제를 안고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이미지 관련 Text에서 단어를 추출한 후 추출된 단어들간의 개념 관계를 WordNet을 이용하여 표현한 주석 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 단순 스트링 매칭이 아닌 개념적 매칭에 의한 개념 기반 검색을 지원할 수 있다.

  • The words which appeared in my theoretical study and work are image transformation to digital painting, simulation, heterologie and transfiguration, etc. Firstly, let's look into 'digital era' or 'new media era'. Nowadays, the image world including painting within the rapid social and cultural change, which is called as digital era, is having the dramatic change. Together with the development of scientific technology, large number of events which was deemed to be impossible is happening as real in image world Moreover, these changes in image world is greatly influencing to our life. The word which compresses this change of image world and shows is 'digital'. Digit, which means fingers in Latin, indicates separately changing signal, and to be more narrow, it indicates the continual signal of '0' and ' 1' in computer. The opposite word is 'analogue'. As analogue is the word meaning 'infer' or 'similarity', it indicates the signal or form which continuously changes along the series of time when it is compared to digital. Instead of analogue, digital is embossed as a major ruler along the whole area of our current culture. In whole culture and art area, and in whole generalscience, digital is appearing as it has the modernism and importance. The prefix, 'digital', e.g. digital media, digital culture, digital design, digital philosophy, etc, is treated as the synonym of modernism and something new. This advent of digital results the innovative change to the image world, creates the new beauty experience which we could not experience before, and forecasts the formation of advanced art and expansion of creative area. Various intellectual activities using computer is developing the whole world with making the infrastructure. Computer in painting work immediately accomplishes the idea of painters, takes part in simulation work, contingency such as abrupt reversal, extraction, twisting, shaking, obscureness, overlapping, etc, and timing to stimulate the creativity of painters, and provides digital formative language which enables new visual experience to the audience. When the change of digital era, the image appeared in my work is shown in 'transfiguration' like drawing. The word, 'transfiguration' does not indicate the completed and fixed real substance but indicate endlessly moving and floating shape. Thus, this concept is opposite to the substantial consideration, so that various concepts which is able to replace this in accordance with the similar cases are also exist such as change, deterioration, mutation, deformity of appearance and morphing which is frequently used in computer as a technical word. These concepts are not clearly classified, and variably and complicatedly related. Transfiguration basically means the denial of "objectivity' and '(continual) stagnation' or deviation from those. This phenomenon is appeared through the all art schools of art ever since the realism is denied in the 19th century. It is called as 'deformation' in case of expressionism, futurism, cubism, etc, in the beginning of the century, which its former indication is mostly preserved within the process of structural deviation and which has the realistic limit which should be preserved. On the contrary, dramatic transfiguration which has been showing in the modern era through surrealism is different in the point that dramatic transfiguration tends to show the deterioration and deviation rather than the preservation of indicated object. From this point, transfiguration coming out from morphing using computer deteriorates and hides the reality and furthermore, it replaces the 'reality'. Moreover, transfiguration is closely approached to the world of fake or 'imaginary' simulation world of Baudrillard. According to Baudrillard, the image hides and deteriorates the reality, and furthermore, expresses 'not existing' to 'imaginary' under the name of transfiguration. Certain reality, that is, image which is absent from the reality is created and overflowed, so that it finally replaces the reality. This is simulation as it is said by Baudrillard. In turn, Georges Bataille discusses about the image which is produced by digital technology in terms of heterologie. Image of heterologie is the visual signal which is established with the media. Image of media is to have the continuous characteristics of produce, extinction, and transformation, and its clear boundary between images becomes meaningless. The meaning of composition, excess, violation, etc of digital image is explained to heterological study or heteologie suggested as important meaning of Georges Bataille who is a heretic philosopher. As the form and image of mutation shows the shape in accordance with mechanical production, heterologie is introduced as very low materialism (or bas materialisme), in this theory. Heterologie as low materialism which is gradually changing is developing as a different concept and analysis because of the change of time in the late 20s century beside high or low meaning. Including my image, all images non-standardizes and transforms the code. However, reappearance and non-standardization of this code does not seem to be simple. The problem of transformation caused by transfiguration which appears in my digital drawing painting, simulation, heterologie, etc, are the continual problems. Moreover, the subject such as existence of human being, distance from the real life, politics and social problems are being extended to actual research and various expressing work. Especially, individual image world is established by digital painting transfiguration technique, and its change and review start to have the durability. The consciousness of observers who look at the image is changing the subject. Together with theoretical research, researchers are to establish the first step to approach to various image change of digital era painting through transfiguration technique using our realistic and historical image.

  • 유학생이 계속 늘고 있는 국내 교육 시장에서 소셜 미디어를 활용한 대학 마케팅이 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구는 소셜 미디어를 사용하는 소비자의 심리적 요인에서 출발하여 한국 교육 관광지의 온라인 구전의도에 영향을 미치는 요소를 탐구했다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 구전의도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 영향을 설명하고 있으며 교육 관광지의 이미지와 중국 관광객의 관광만족감의 중요성을 확인했다. 또한, 소셜 미디어를 사용할 목적으로 여행하는 이용자들은 자아 이미지 일치성과 과시적 자기표현을 더 중요시하는 경향을 발견했다. 본 연구에서는 대학 마케팅을 목적으로 소셜 미디어를 사용하고 온라인 구전을 활성화함으로써 중국 관광객이 한국 교육 관광지에 대한 인식을 개선할 수 있으며 나아가서 유학생 모집에서도 성공적일 수 있음을 밝혀냈다.

Word Cloud 분석을 이용한 스트리트 패션 연구 (A study on street fashion by word cloud analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine women's street fashion based on Instagram by word cloud analysis. This study is divided into items, silhouettes, colors, materials, patterns, and images that appear in women's street fashion. The results of this study are as follows: First, women's fashion-oriented Instagram accounts have a maximum of 8.6 million followers, with 16 blogs have more than one million users. As for the fashion-oriented Instagram visitors, many were their 10s-20s and photography was the key issue. Second, it was found that the casual image, which is the basis of street fashion, romantic, elegance, active sportive image, and sexy images appeared as unique images, and mixed with each other. Third, we compared the fashion characteristics of the top blogs 'fashionnova', 'fashionclimaxx2', and 'fashion.selection'. The blog 'fashionnova', utilizes sexy images and various dresses, and dresses were the characteristic points. The blog 'fashionclimaxx2' features casual images and modern office looks. The blog 'fashoin.selection' has fashion characteristics of both 'fashionnova' and 'fashionclimaxx2'.

인터넷 패션쇼핑몰 유형별 점포이미지평가와 고객만족 및 재구매의도와의 관련성에 관한 연구 (Relationship between Store Image Evaluation, Customer Satisfaction, and Repurchase Intention according to the Types of Internet Fashion Shopping Malls)

  • This study aims to identify whether shopping malls affect customer satisfaction significantly according to the store image assessment of consumers after their purchases. This comparative study on the store image and satisfaction level according to shopping mall type is supposed to offer useful basic data for developing a niche market while establishing market segmentation strategies for internet fashion shopping malls. As a result of an empirical analysis, it was found that important standards for assessing the store image of internet fashion shopping malls include product and information service, customer service after purchase, atmosphere, convenience and reliability, and all five factors were shown to affect the satisfaction level for all general malls significantly. However, product and information service and convenience were shown not to be significantly influential to the satisfaction level for fashion specialty mall. In addition, customer satisfaction was found to affect the customers' intention to repurchase and word of mouth. Therefore, if marketing managers of internet fashion shopping malls elevate customer satisfaction by managing the store image before the customers' purchase, they can attract customers to repurchase intention and ultimately prompt a word of mouth effect.

비주얼 검색을 위한 위키피디아 기반의 질의어 추출 (Keyword Selection for Visual Search based on Wikipedia)

  • The mobile visual search service uses a query image to acquire linkage information through pre-constructed DB search. From the standpoint of this purpose, it would be more useful if you could perform a search on a web-based keyword search system instead of a pre-built DB search. In this paper, we propose a representative query extraction algorithm to be used as a keyword on a web-based search system. To do this, we use image classification labels generated by the CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) algorithm based on Deep Learning, which has a remarkable performance in image recognition. In the query extraction algorithm, dictionary meaningful words are extracted using Wikipedia, and hierarchical categories are constructed using WordNet. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by measuring the system response time.

문서 영상 내 테이블 영역에서의 단어 추출 (Word Extraction from Table Regions in Document Images)

  • 문서 영상은 문서 구조 분석을 통하여 텍스트, 그림, 테이블 등의 세부 영역으로 분할 및 분류되는데, 테이블 영역에 있는 단어는 다른 영역의 단어보다 의미가 있기 때문에 주제어 검색과 같은 응용 분야에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 문서 영상의 테이블 영역에 존재하는 문자 성분을 단어단위로 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 테이블 영역에서의 단어 추출은 실질적으로 테이블을 구성하는 셀 영역에서 단어를 추출하는 것이기 때문에 정확한 셀 추출 과정이 필요하다. 셀 추출은 연결 요소를 분석하여 테이블 프레임을 찾아내고, 교차점 검출은 전체가 아닌 테이블 프레임에 대해서만 수행한다. 잘못 검출된 교차점은 이웃하는 교차점과의 관계를 이용하여 수정하고, 최종 교차점 정보를 이용하여 셀을 추출한다. 추출된 셀 내부에 있는 텍스트 영역은 셀 추출 과정에서 분석한 문자성분의 연결 요소 정보를 재사용하여 결정하고, 결정된 텍스트 영역은 투영 프로파일을 분석하여 문자연로 분리된다. 마지막으로 분리된 문자열에 대하여 갭 군집화와 특수 기호 검출을 수행함으로써 단어 분리를 수행한다. 제안 방법의 성능 평가를 위하여 한글 논문 영상으로부터 추출한 총 In개의 테이블 영상에 대해 실험한 결과, $99.16\%$의 단어 추출 성공률을 얻을 수 있었다.

지역 감성기반 영상 검색을 위한 감성 스케치 질의 (Query-by-emotion sketch for local emotion-based image retrieval)

  • 본 논문에서는 지역적으로 서로 다른 감성을 지닌 영상을 검출하기 위해서 감성 스케치를 이용한 영상 검색 시스템을 제안 하였다. 제안하는 검색 시스템은 영상을 $17{\times}17$의 겹치지 않는 부분영역으로 나누고, 각 부분영역에 대한 감성 특징을 추출한다. 본 논문에서는 부분영역 내에서 감성 특징을 추출하기 위해서, H. Nagumo의 배색이미지차트에서 제안하는 160개 감성어에 대한 감성 색상을 이용하였다. 부분영역으로부터 해당 감성어에 대한 감성 색상의 분포정도를 계산하여 각 부분영역의 감성어에 대한 히스토그램 값 중 가장 큰 값을 지닌 감성어를 취하게 된다. 제안하는 감성 스케치를 이용한 영상 검색 시스템은 Corel 영상 데이터베이스에 대해서 유효성을 평가하여, 전역적 방법보다 우수한 검색 정확도와 재현도를 가짐을 보여주었다.

상호매체성의 이론과 그 적용 - 피터 그리너웨이의 <프로스페로의 서재>를 중심으로 (A Theory of Intermediality and its Application in Peter Greenaway's )

  • The cinema of Peter Greenaway has consistently engaged questions of the relationship between the arts and particularly the relations of image and writing to cinema. When different types of images are correlated and merged with each other on the borders of painting, photography, film, video and computer animation, the interrelationships of the distinct elements cause a shift in the notion of the whole image. This analysis proposes to articulate the complex relationship between the 'interartial' dimension and the 'intermedial' dimension in Peter Greenaway's film, (1991). If the interartiality is interested in the interaction between various arts, including the transition from one to another, the intermediality articulates the same type of relationship between two or more media. The interactional relationship is the same on both sides; on the contrary, the relationship between art and media does not show the same symmetry. All art is based on one or more media - the media is a condition existence of art - but no art can't be reduced to the status of media. This suggests that if the interartiality always involves the intermediality, this proposal may not be reversed. First, we analyse a self-conscious investigation into digital art and technology. Prosospero's Books can be read as a daring visual essay that self-consciously investigates the technical and philosophical functions of letters, books, images, animated paintings, digital arts, and the other magical illusions, which have been modern or will be post-modern media to represent the world. Greenaway uses both conventional film techniques and the resources of high-definition television to layer image upon image, superimposing a second or third frame within his frame. Greenaway uses the frame-within-frame as the cinematic equivalent of Shakespeare's paly-within-play : it offer him the possibility to analyse the work of art/artist/spectator relationship. Secondly, we analyse the relationship between the written word, oral word and the books. Like the written word, the oral word changes into a visual image: The linguistic richness and nuances of Shakeaspeare's characters turn into the powerful and authoritative, but monotone, voices of Gielgud-Prospero, who speaks the Shakespearean lines aloud, shaping the characters so powerfully through his worlds that they are conjured before us. Specially each book is placed over the frame of the play's action, only partially covering the image, so that it gives virtually every frame at least two space-time orientations. Thirdly, we try to show how Peter Greenaway uses pictorial references in order to illustrate the context of the Renaissance as well as pictorial techniques and language in order to question the nature of artistic representation. For exemple, The storm is visualised through reference to Botticelli's : the storm of papers swirling around the library is constructed to look like a facsimili copy of Michelangelo's Laurentiana Library in Florence. Greenaway's modern mannerism consists in imposing his own aesthetic vision and his questioning of art beyond the play's meta-theatricality: in other words, Shakespeare''s text has been adapted without being betrayed.
