한 이미지 평면에 있는 다물체 화상처리 기법 개발 (Development of multi-object image processing algorithm in a image plane)

  • This study is concentrated on the development of hight speed multi-object image processing algorithm, and based on these a1gorithm, vision control scheme is developed for the robot's position control in real time. Recently, the use of vision system is rapidly increasing in robot's position centre. To apply vision system in robot's position control, it is necessary to transform the physical coordinate of object into the image information acquired by CCD camera, which is called image processing. Thus, to control the robot's point position in real time, we have to know the center point of object in image plane. Particularly, in case of rigid body, the center points of multi-object must be calculated in a image plane at the same time. To solve these problems, the algorithm of multi-object for rigid body control is developed.

  • The desire for a technology that can mechanically acquire 2D images starting with the manual method of drawing has been making possible a wide range of modern image-based technologies and applications over a period. Moreover, this trend of the utilization of image-related technology as well as image-based information is likely to continue. Naturally, as like other technology areas, the function that humans produce and utilize by using images needs to be automated by using computing-based technologies. Surprisingly, technology using images in the future will be able to discover knowledge that humans have never known before through the information-related process that enables new perception, far beyond the scope of use that human has used before. Regarding this trend, the manipulation and configuration of massively distributed image database system is strongly demanded. In this paper, we discuss image identifier production methods based on the utilization of the image hashing technique which especially puts emphasis over an entropy operator.

외과학과 근관치료학 영역에서 콘빔형전산화단층영상 활용 (Using cone-beam computed tomography in oral surgery and endodontics)

  • The use of cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT) image has been increased. Usually, the dentists use this images for the implant or orthodontic treatment. In this article, CBCT examples for oral surgery and endodontics are presented. CBCT is very useful when dentists extract teeth or provide endodontic treatment. The disadvantage of the CBCT image is also discussed simply. Clinicians could provide higher quality of medical care with CBCT.

  • Photon mapping is an efficient global illumination technique for realistic image synthesis that has been developed in computer graphics. In this paper, an adaptive photon mapping in the use of automatic differentiation is proposed. Since the automatic differentiation is used when photons emit from the light sources through the scene, we can check the variation of surrounding shape. Therefore, we can decrease the number of photons and generate an image in relatively low computational cost.

  • Spatial image processing software requires various user interactions to make a plan, prepare necessary data such as images, vectors, ancillary data and user-defined data, execute functions according to pre-defined procedures, analyze and store the results. In this manner, overall processes are controlled by user interactions. In this paper, we propose visual modeler which has the automated spatial image processing technique to minimize user interactions and re -use repeatable procedure. The proposed visual modeler is designed to use inter-operable components proposed by OpenGIS consortium as well as conventional COM components.

  • In the case of blur processing, it is common to use a tool such as Photoshop to perform processing manually. However, it can be considered very efficient if the blur is processed at one time in the object detection process. Based on this point, we can use the object detection model to blur the objects during the process. The object detection is performed by using the YOLO [3] model. If such blur processing is used, it may be additionally applied to streaming data of video or image.

  • In this paper, we proposed an watermarking algorithm in which invariable sign of DWT coefficients should be used and by which the quality of digital image can be preserved for the protection of copyright. According to the algorithm, through the calculation of the sign DWT coefficients and the use of elements, position of watermark and size value should be decided. By so doing, the algorithm can improve image quality(PSNR) and obtain good efficiency with which strong watermark can be inserted into the digital image.

  • In order to assess the estimtions of CN for a small agricultural watershed using the satellite image, TM image from Landsat-5 was classsified by MLC. CN for each pixels in the image was estimaed using the results. For the estimation enhancing , it was tried that each land use area in a pixel was estimated by the mixel assumption and the averaged CN by weight areas. Those resutls were applied for the actual hydrologic analyses were highly concerned with the observed runoff discharge and more enhanced on the mixel assumption.

  • In this paper, we treat image segmentation as a graph partitioning problem. and use the normalized cut for segmenting the graph. The normalized cut criterion measures both the total dissimilarity between the different graphs as well as the total similarity within the groups. The minimization of this criterion can formulated as a generalized eigenvalues problem. We have applied this approach to segment static image. This criterion can be shown to be computed efficiently by a generalized eigenvalues problem

아바타 이미지에 따른 아바타 이용자 특성에 관한 연구 -아바타 이용현황, 신체존중감, 그리고 자기존중감을 중심으로- (The Characteristics of Avatar Users according to Avatar Image -Focus on utilization state, body-esteem and self-esteem-)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between avatar image and self-concept of avatar users by utilizing focus group interviews and survey method. The subjects of the focus group interview were Freechal Avatar Club members, while those of the survey were 476 students, who attended middle schools, high schools and colleges at Seoul area. The data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, chi-square test, one-way ANOVA and scheffe test. The main results were summarized as follows. First, the focus group interview revealed that avatar image types, which avatar users made use of, were ideal image, real image and fantastic image. Second, based on the avatar image types of focus group interviews, the researcher made out avatar image question items and conducted factor analysis of the question items: The avatar users pursued ideal image, real image and fantastic image. The avatar users groups were classified into ideal image group, real image group and fantastic image group by employing cluster analysis. Third, all of body-esteem and self-esteem were the highest at real image group, while all of that were the lowest at ideal image group.
