크기와 회전 변화에 불변 모멘트 알고리즘을 이용한 자동 검사 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Automatic Inspection System using Invariant Moments Algorithm with the Change of Size and Rotation)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a practical image inspection system that could recognize it correctly, endowing flexibility to the productive field, although the same object for work will be changed in the size and rotated. In this experiment, it selected a fighter, rotating the direction from $30^{\circ}$ to $45^{\circ}$ simultaneously while changing the size from 1/4 to 1/16, as an object inspection without using another hardware for exclusive image processing. The invariant moments, Hu has suggested, was used as feature vector moment descriptor. As a result of the experiment, the image inspection system developed from this research was operated in real-time regardless of the chance of size and rotation for the object inspection, and it maintained the correspondent rates steadily above from 94% to 96%. Accordingly, it is considered as the flexibility can be considerably endowed to the factory automation when the image inspection system developed from this research is applied to the productive field.

콘크리트 터널 라이닝 균열검사 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Inspection System for Crack on the Lining of Concrete Tunnel)

  • To assess tunnel safety, cracks in tunnel lining are measured by inspectors, who observe cracks with their naked eyes and record them. But manual inspection is slow, and measured crack data is subjective. Therefore, this study proposes inspection system fur measuring cracks in tunnel lining and providing objective crack data to be used in safety assessment. The system consists of On-vehicle system and Laboratory system. On-Vehicle system acquires image data with line CCD camera on scanning along the tunnel lining. Laboratory system extracts crack information from the acquired image using image processing. Measured crack information is crack thickness, length and orientation. To improve accuracy of crack recognition, the geometric properties and patterns of cracks in concrete structure were applied to image processing. The proposed system was verified with experiments in both laboratory environment and field environment such as subway tunnel.

차영상 분석 기반의 자동차 엔진 실링상태 검사 시스템 (Car Engine Sealing Inspection System Based on Analysis of Difference Image)

  • 본 논문에서는 차 엔진의 누수 방지를 위한 실링 처리 후 실링 처리 영역에 대한 정확도를 검사하는 새로운 알고리즘을 제안하고, 실제 생산라인에서 동작하는 자동차 엔진 실링검사 시스템을 개발하였다. 검사 방법은 기존에 제안된 영상처리 기법에 기반을 두는 세 가지 검사 방법들이 갖는 설치의 어려움, 높은 계산의 복잡도, 유사 색 기름에 의한 실링검사 성능 저하 등의 여러 가지 단점을 해결하고 저 비용의 시스템을 개발하기 위해 개발되었다. 제안하는 시스템은 기존의 방법에서 적용하지 않은 설링 전후의 차영상을 활용하는 기법을 이용하여 다양한 환경변화에 적응적이며, 고정형 카메라 1대로 검사가 가능한 저 비용 시스템이다. 실제 생산라인에서의 비교 실험을 통해 제안하는 실링검사 방법은 기존의 생산라인에서 적용되고 있는 세 가지 다른 방법들에 비해 높은 실링검사 정확도를 보여 성능의 우수성을 입증하였다.

  • If any of the set parameters such as the environment temperature, mold temperature are not maintained at a consistent level, the fail rate of injection molding products is increased. The price of the injection molding machine is very high, so in order to maximize the utilization of the machine that is required the production of a number of different products with minimum fail rate using a single machine. To prevent the defect products by an inspection process with perfect quality is very important to minimizing production of defect products in the molding process. Vision inspection systems are widely utilized in various manufacturing industries for quality assurance purposes. The vision inspection system consists of CCD camera and lighting system to capture the image of the subject of inspection, an image comparison algorithm using to determine the pass/fail of the products, and mechanical devices for the operation of the whole system. This research focuses on the development of the vision inspection system to process the inspection of an automobile parts. We developed a mechanical devices for the inspection of the injection molding products and an image comparison algorithm to determine the pass/fail result of the inspection based on the molding image and the accepted product image.

  • The goal of this paper is accuracy improvement of appearance inspection by using image separation average value matching method. The appearance inspection of various electronic products and parts has been executed by the eyesight of human. But inspection by eyesight can't bring about uniform inspection result. Because the appearance inspection result by eyesight of human is changed by condition of physical and spirit of the checker. So machine vision inspection system is currently used to many appearance inspection fields instead of the checker. However the inspection result of machine vision is changed by the illumination of workplace. Therefore we have used a average value matching in this paper for improvement of vision inspection accuracy and could increase inspection accuracy of vision system. In other words, we made an effort for elevation of vision inspection accuracy by making the identical image separation average value of reference image and input image. Also this system has been developed only using PC, CCD Camera and Visual C++ for universal workplace.

태양광 웨이퍼의 결함검출을 위한 자동 정밀검사 시스템 개발 (Development of Automatic Precision Inspection System for Defect Detection of Photovoltaic Wafer)

  • In this paper, we describes the development of automatic inspection system for detecting the defects on photovoltaic wafer by using machine vision. Until now, The defect inspection process was manually performed by operators. So these processes caused the produce of poorly-made articles and inaccuracy results. To improve the inspection accuracy, the inspection system is not only configured, but the image processing algorithm is also developed. The inspection system includes dimensional verification and pattern matching which compares a 2-D image of an object to a pattern image the method proves to be computationally efficient and accurate for real time application and we confirmed the applicability of the proposed method though the experience in a complex environment.

  • The vision system is easy to use the exclusive use as a independent computer system but it is not much popularization by reason of expensive and difficult to adapt to the various fields, because it is easy to the existed computer system, the price is cheap and also it can use to the various measurement purpose which user wanted and programed. The measurement method of the vehicle axle casing nut welding part is that measure the value of the welding part to adapt the actual operation program from using the ratio between the actual length of the standard specimen and the length of image, to measure the ratio between the actual product and the camera image. A defect is found by the assembled visual inspection system. The inspection algorithm which estimates the quality of welded product is developed and also, the software program which processes the automatic test function of the inspection system. We make the foundation of the inspection automatic system and we will help to apply other welding machine.

  • Laser printer, faximile and copy machine are a few examples of OA(office automation) system. In such a system, the reflecting mirror has been employed for transmitting a target image to optical device. Therefore, to develope a good quality of optical system, the quality control of optical mirror was required. In recent years, considerable efforts have been directed toward the development of automated optical glass inspection system because the inspection is eye-fatigue and monotonous job for humans to perform. In this paper, we propose a inspection system applying algorithm of image processing for detecting defects of optical glass such as pinhole, scratch. From the experiments, the proposed inspection system shows reliable results.

인쇄회로기판 검사를 위한 기하학적 영상 왜곡의 보정 방법 (Correction Method for Geometric Image Distortion and Its Application to PCB Inspection Systems)

  • The geometric distortion of image is one of the most important parameters that take effect on the accuracy of optical inspection systems. We propose a new correction method of the image distortion to increase the accuracy of PCB inspection systems. The model-free method is applied to correct the randomly distorted image that cannot be represented by mathematical model. To reduce the correction time of inspection system, we newly propose a grid reduction algorithm that minimize the number of grids by the quad-tree approach. We apply the proposed method to a PCB inspection system, and verify its usefulness through experiments using actual inspection images.
