The conditions after exposure to digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis were analyzed. The examinations for the ACR phantom were done using manual exposure, not auto exposure, to examine image discrimination and patient dose. As a result, the following results were derived: In the CC exposure, the kVp was 2kVp higher while mAs decreased to 58.6% for the 3D tomography. Such result showed an approximate decrease of 60mAs. At that time, the patients' Average Glandular Dose (AGD) was 1.65mGy in 2D and 1.87mGy in 3D; thus, AGD of 3D was shown to have about 1.13times higher. The result of the manual exposure revealed a reduced mAs of up to 80%; there was no effect in the assessment standard in terms of image discrimination, resulting in more than 10 points. When mAs was reduced to 80% in the manual exposure for ACR phantom, AGD was decreased to 0.66mGy. The diagnostic values of images were maintained and patients dose was reduced in the manual exposure in the AEC condition for 3D. Since the use of 3D has recently increased, using the manual exposure has been recommended in this study to improve the diagnostic value, while, simultaneously reducing patients dose.

This paper was studied in two ways with respect to the information received from the video signal separation technique of PPI Scop radar device. The proposed technique consists in generating an image signal through the video signal separation and synthesis, symbol generation, the residual image signal generation process. This technology can greatly improve the operating convenience with improved ease of discrimination, screen readability for the operator in analyzing radar information. The first proposed method was constructed for high-speed FPGA-based information processing systems for high speed operation stability of the system. The second proposed method was implemented intelligent algorithms and a software algorithm function curve associated resources. This was required to meet the constraints on the radar information, analysis system. Existing radar systems have not the frame data analysis unit image. However, this study was designed to image data stored in the frame-by-frame analysis of radar images with express information MPEG4 video. Key research content is to highlight the key observations expresses the target, the object-specific monitoring information to the positive image processing algorithm and the function curve delays. For high-definition video, high-speed to implement data analysis and expressing a variety of information was applied to the ARM Processor Support in Pro ASIC3.

Identification of rice species was attempted by three side (top, side and front) images of brown rice. Nine parameters of each image were area, aspect ratio, maximum diameter, minimum diameter, perimeter, roundness and red (R), green (G) and blue (B) pixel values of an image. Forty rice samples consisted of 19 species used for the study and total 27 image characteristics for a kernel were measured. For calibration and confirmation, 105 and 20 brown rice kernels per each sample were used respectively. For best identification of rice species, 24 image characteristics were selected for discriminant analysis. Average percentages for correct identification of rice species were 84.75% and 84.93% for calibration and confirmation data set, respectively. The highest and lowest percentage for correct identification were 99.05% for Nongan and 50.63% for Hwaseung respectively in calibration data. The confirmation data showed that the correct identification of Nongan or Paalgong was 100%, while that of Hwaseung was 47.62%. The result of the study showed that three side (top, side and front) image of brown rice was not suitable for identification of rice species suggesting that additional techniques are required for better discrimination of rice species.

This paper proposes an improved image steganalysis scheme to raise the detection rate of stego images out of cover images. To improve the detection rate of stego image in the steganalysis, tiny variation caused by data hiding should be amplified. For this, we extract feature vectors of cover image and stego image by two steps. First, we separate image into upper 4 bit subimage and lower 4 bit subimage. As a result, stego noise is expanded more than two times. We decompose separated subimages into twelve subbands by applying 3-level Haar wavelet transform and calculate co-occurrence probabilities of two different subbands in the same scale. Since co-occurrence probability of the two wavelet subbands is affected by data hiding, it can be used as a feature to differentiate cover images and stego images. The extracted feature vectors are used as the input to the multilayer perceptron(MLP) classifier to distinguish between cover and stego images. We test the performance of the proposed scheme over various embedding rates by the LSB, S-tool, COX's SS, and F5 embedding method. The proposed scheme outperforms the previous schemes in detection rate to existence of hidden message as well as exactness of discrimination.

To classify the surface sedimentary facies using IKONOS image collected over Hwangdo tidal flat in Cheonsu Bay, the optical reflectance was compared for characterizing various sedimentary environments such as grain size, tidal channel pattern and area ratio of surface remnant water. The intertidal DEM (Digital Elevation Model) was generated by echo-sounder for analyzing the relationship between IKONOS image and sedimentary environments including topography. The boundary of the optical reflectance between mud-mixed facies and sand facies was distinct, and discrimination of the associated sandbar feature was also possible. The mud-mixed facies coupled with intricate tidal channels is confined to the relatively hi호 topography of Hwangdo tidal flat. The boundary between mud and mixed flat was indistinct in IKONOS optical reflectance but it would have a difference in the area ratio of surface remnant water. The dark area in the image represented the well developed sand facies having a lot of surface remnant water due to the relatively low surface topography. The overall accuracy of characterizing the surface sediment facies by maximum likelihood classification method was 86.2 %. These results demonstrate that high spatial resolution satellite imagery such as IKONOS coupled with knowledge of grain size, surface remnant water and tidal channel network can be effectively used to characterize the surface sedimentary facies (mud, mixed and sand) network of the tidal flat environments.
In this paper we discuss the corelation be-tween feminism and fashion and examine its influnce on mordern fashion. And we also try to infer what the fashion design will be like in the future by understanding the value of modern fashion from a new viewpoint. The Early Feminism which advocated the similarity between man and women held the thought that women could be equal to men only when they behaved in the same way as men did, In 1970s when the pendulum of the Early Feminism movement reached its highest point a manish look began to flourish. The manish look introduced the items once employed only for men such as trench costs tidy tailored suits shirts and ties to women clothes. It has taken root deeply in women's life and is still employed in various ways by many designers. From the late 1970s the pendulum of feminism movement began to swing toward the Essentialist Feminism which emphasized the differences between men and women. It focused not on the negative image of women seen from male-oriented viewpoints but on their positive image and stressed women's sexual characteristic to make distinction between two genders. in fashion the Essentialist Feminism played a role in bringing about a sexy look which stressed the erotic silhouette of woman's body. The latest feminism is the socio-cultural one. It sees the distinction between men and women as sexual discrimination and introduces the androgynous human which carries the characteristic of two sexes. it leads to ambiguity of sex roles and at the same time serves to make androgynous social atmosphere by admitting the coexistence of two genders. The androgynous idea in fashion is expressed as a new trend which crosses men and women's own beauty while keeping their own identity intact. As we have briefly reviewed feminism in fashion has been presented in various ways with regard to expressing the nature of men and women. And it has continuously indicated the ultimate message of the salvation of mankind such as the respect for humanity and recovery of humanism.
As a virtual identity on the virtual space, Avata is expressed in the various graphic forms such as 2D and 3D. Avata is not just combination of characters, but it also reveals the cultural Avitus of the times or the society, which often represents the discrimination according to the generation or social stratum or the unconscious choice of popular culture The modern days are absolutely influenced by the popular culture. And, it is also the case in the virtual space as well as the real world, influencing the fashion trend, cultural taste, and even the behavioral pattern of individuals. Hereupon, through an analysis of cases of using Avata character graphic, we are going to look into the technical ways of expressing Avata and the overall pop culture trend and individual life pattern and taste which are shown in the choice of outfit, necessaries, and background. And, we will also find out the kitsch characteristics in the consumption of Avata. And, we also expect that the image of Avata would be developing into a positive identity demonstrating one's existence on the virtual space, not simply a meaningless choice and combination of image in expressing and consuming Avata.

This paper describes an improved 2D QPS(quadrature polar separable) filter design and its applications to texture processing. The filter kernel pair consists of the product of a radial weighting function based on the finite PSS (prolate spheroidal sequences) and an exponential at tenuation function for the orientational angle. It is quadrature and polar separable in the frequency domain. It is near optimal in the energy loss because we let the orientational angle function approximate the radial weighting function. The filter frequency characteristics is easy to control as it depends only upon the design specifications such as the bandwidth, the directional angle, the attenuation constant, and the shift constant of the central frequency. Some applications of the filter in texture processing, such as the generation of the texture image, the estimation of orientation angles, and the segmentations for the synthetic texture image, are considered. The result shows that the filter with the wide bandwidth can be used for the generation of discrimination of the strong orientational textures and the segmentation results are good.
Visual evaluation of rib shadow and lung marking during high voltage chest radiography. The Purpose of this study is to improvement of visual discrimination of pulmonary structures on the conventional chest radiogram. The author prepared an artificial lung using an acryl plate, 8 cm in thickness, which is nearly equivalent to human lung, and 0.6 cm thickness of an aluminum plate for an artificial rib, and 0.5 cm of an acryl plate as a pulmonary vessel as well. And they were used as objects for experimental radiograms. This study performed with gradual increasing densities of film bases in the sequences of densities of 0.6, 0.9, 1.1 and 1.3. We made two combinations of images after multiple and regular cuts, with width of 1 cm, of 4 radiograms at the above mentioned densities of film bases. One image consisted of alternative combination of radiograms taken at densities of 0.6 and 1.3, and the other did at 0.9 and 1.1. The latter image provided better visual perception of pulmonary structures than the former. Experimental radiograms were also taken with 60 kV and 120 kV respectively. After careful evaluation and comparison to images taken on varieties of different densities with combinations and kV, the author had a conclusion that it is advisable to use a high kV X-ray which makes rib shadow subtle, for better visual delineation of pulmonary structures behind ribcage, eventhough contrast of pulmonary structures are decreased at high kV radiogram.
The purpose of this study is to inspect the use possibility of DAS as a depression assessment tool for middle school students by finding out their depression tendency and DAS characteristics. For this purpose, I have found out explored the differences between depression and aggression of in middle school students in accordance with sex and grade, and also found a relationship between DAS response characteristics, and the level of depression and aggression. The subjects of this study were 600 middle school students in Pusan and Kyungnam, and the tools used in this study were Silver's Draw-a-Story and Beck's depression scale and aggression scale. The results were analyzed two-way ANOVA analysis, Duncan test, correlation analysis and crosstab analysis. The results of this study are as follows. The depression level of the 9th grade students was higher than that of 7th grade students. And the aggression level of males was higher than in females, and higher in 8th graders than in 7th graders. The emotion content scores and the self-image scores were related to depression and aggression. So when the levels of depression and aggression were high, the emotional response of DAS and the self-image response were negative. Through this study, it is suggested that DAS has the power of discrimination as a tool measuring depression state and that DAS is meaningful because it showed it can be used as a tool for estimating the level of depression state of school students in schools.
