We present a method for the estimation of intramuscular electromyographic(EMG) signals from the given surface EMG signals. This method is based on representing the surface EMG signal as an autoregressive(AR) time model with a delayed intramuscular EMG signal as an input. The parameters of the time series model that transforms the intramuscular signal to the surface signal are identified. The identified model is then used in estimating the intramuscular signal from the surface signal.

An hydrocarbon alcohol and steroids were isolated from the hexane fraction of the extract from the seeds of Phaseolus radiatus L. And also a flavonoid was identified from the ethyl acetate and butanol fraction. The structure of the obtained compound were elucidated by spectroscopic methods (UV, IR, mass and NMR) and their physicochemical properties. As the results, triacontanol, stigmasterol, ${\beta}-sitosterol$ and vitexin were identified.

This paper is about the study on the verification method for railway system SIL which is frequency of hazard, composing Risk, one of the measurement standards for railway system safety. Frequency of hazard can be identified by using FMECA, or HAZOP, and the assessment of identified dangerous failure rate should be done by systematic methods such as FTA. Therefore, this paper provides the hazard identification level for SIL verification and the requirements necessary to verify the integrity of analysis activity.

The free phenolic fraction from Korean white ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) was studied by GLC/MS as trimethylsilyl and methyl derivative. Five phenolic compounds such as 2,6-ditert butyl p-crestal, phloroglucinol, protocatechuic acid, isoferulic acid, quinic acid were identified newly. And additionally 13 organic acids and hydrocarbons were also identified in the fraction.

4, 8, 13-Duvatriene-1, 3-viols have been identified in the cuticular lipid of fresh Sohyang (aromatic cultivar) tobacco leaves. Their $\alpha, \beta$-isomers were directly separated by SE-54 glass capillary column and identified by mass spectrometry. Gas chromatographic analysis revealed that the duvatrienediols are major components in the culticular lipid of Nicotiana Tabacum.

The carbon film was deposited by the electrolysis of methanol solution. From investigations of the Raman spectroscopy and the FTIR spectroscopy, the carbon film deposited by the electrolysis was identified the hydrogenated carbon film with the porous structure. A closed-loop sensorless stroke control system for a linear compressor has been designed. The motor parameters are identified as a function of the piston position and the motor current. They are stored in ROM table and used later for the accurate estimation of piston position. Also it was attempted to approximate the identified motor parameters to the 2nd-order surface functions. Some experimental results are given in order to show the feasibility of the proposed control schemes for linear compressors.

Four strains of Phellinus spp. was identified based on internal transcribed spacer(ITS) region of rDNA sequence analysis and morphological characteristics. Basidiocarps of all strains were effused-reflexed and hymenial surface was poroid. Hyphal system was dimitic and basidiospore was globose to ellipsoid. The amplification of ITS regions produced a DNA fragment of 500 to 780 by in all strains examined. The determined sequences were analyzed for the reconstruction of phylogenetic tree. From these results, Phellinus sp. KM-1, KM-2, and KM-4 was identified as P. hartigii, P. baumii, and P. linteus, respectively.

Among the Streptomyces isolated from soil, two strains which have antibacterial activity aginst various pathogenic bacteria are identified as Streptomyces globosus and Streptomyces albus subsp. according to I.S.P. methods and Bergy's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology. Morphological and physiological characteristics of them on several media were observed. Antibiotics from S. albus subsp. or S. globosus was identified asw tetracycline or streptomycin-like substances respectively by the paper chromatographic behavior in eight solvent systems of V. Betina. And it was revealed that these antibiotic substances are stable to temperature and weak acid.
