빠른 무해 인식에 의한 효율적인 테스트 패턴 생성 (An efficient test pattern generation based on the fast redundancy identification)

  • The fast redundancy identification is required to perform an efficient test pattern genration. Due to the reconvergent fanouts which make the dependency among objectives and the fault propagation blocking, there may exist redundnat faults in the cirucit. This paper presents the isomorphism identification and the pseudo dominator algorithms which are useful to identify redundant faults in combinational circuits. The isomorphism identification algorithm determines whether mandatory objectives required for fault detection cannot be simultaneously satisfied from primary input assignments or not using binary decision diagrma. The pseudo dominator algorithm determines whether faults propagation is possible or not by considering all paths at a given fanout node. Several experiments using ISCAS 85 benchmark circuits demonstrate the efficiency and practicability of the algorithms.

  • The paper-and-pencil multiplce choise test has been widely used to identify gifted and talented student in Korea. Such test have several drawbacks; such~a s not being able to assess creative problem solving abilities and high level thinking abilities which are important characteristics of gifted students. The Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) developed a performance assessment which challenged traditional methods of identification. The 5-day summer camp was held to select gifted students for the Korean Minjok Leadership Academy. 211 students were evaluated in the aspects of creative problem solving abilities, high level thinking abilities, task commitments, and cooperativeness with various performance tasks, such as essay tests, conversations, oral examinations, computer simulations, puzzles, experiments, group discussions, debates, research reports, and games. As a result, it was found that there were several limitations of the performance assessment in terms of low reliability, requiring high costs and many professionals, and taking long times and large spaces. Nondestructive Evaluation of Railway Bridge by System Identification Using Field Vibration Measurement

  • This paper presents a nondestructive evaluation approach for system identification (SID) of real railway bridges using field vibration test results. First, a multi-phase SID scheme designed on the basis of eigenvalue sensitivity concept is presented. Next, the proposed multi-phase approach is evaluated from field vibration tests on a real railway bridge (Wondongcheon bridge) located in Yangsan, Korea. On the steel girder bridge, a few natural frequencies and mode shapes are experimentally measured under the ambient vibration condition. The corresponding modal parameters are numerically calculated from a three-dimensional finite element (FE) model established for the target bridge. Eigenvalue sensitivities are analyzed for potential model-updating parameters of the FE model. Then, structural subsystems are identified phase-by-phase using the proposed model-updating procedure. Based on model-updating results, a baseline model and a nondestructive evaluation of test bridge are identified.

실직 노숙자 자아정체감 회복을 위한 집단정신치료 (The Effects of Group Psychotherapy on Recovery of Self-identification with the Unemployed Homeless)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of group psychotherapy on recovery of self-identification with the unemployed homeless. To this end, 28 attending welfare-centers in Seoul area were sampled to be subject to 12 rounds of group psychotherapy for 6 weeks. In order to determine the effects the, test, preliminary test and post-program test were conducted. Every round of the program activities were video-taped, while being observed. The results of this study were as follows. First, the group psychotherapy influenced positive effect. Especially, the unemployed homeless had a opportunity of self-comprehension, self-insight, catharsis, etc. Second, during group psychotherapy, individual characteristics of the unemployed homeless were determined. Third, during group psychotherapy, the unemployed homeless complained about family problem, health, alcoholism, etc.

  • Considering the relatively large amount of stable flexural teat results available for steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) and their dependency on the constitutive behavior of the material, a technique called “System Identification” is used for interpretating the flexural test data in order to obtain basic information on the tensile constitutive behavior of steel fiber reinforced concrete. “System Identification” was successful in obtaining optimum sets of parameters which provide satisfactory matches between the measured and predicted flexural load-deflection relationships.

  • This paper describes a new test rig for identification of rotordynamic force coefficients of squeeze film dampers (SFDs) in automotive turbochargers (TCs). Prior studies have mainly concentrated on relatively large-sized SFDs used in aircraft engines, turbocompressors, and turbopumps. The main objective of the current study is to propose a test rig for identification of dynamic force coefficients of small-sized SFDs (a journal diameter of ~11 mm). The current test rig consists of a journal, a SFD cartridge, four support rods, an upper structure, a data acquisition (DAQ) system, and an oil circulation unit. The annular gaps between the journal outer surface and SFD cartridge inner surface create SFD film lands. The damper has two parallel film lands separated by a central groove, having an axial length and depth of 3 mm. Each film land has a length of 4 mm with a $40{\mu}m$ radial clearance. The static load and dynamic impact tests identify the structural characteristics (i.e., stiffness and natural frequency) of the journal and assembled test rig. The measurements show good agreement with predictions. The SFD performance data from this test rig will be used to develop innovative TC rotor systems with improved NVH and reliability characteristics incorporating advanced SFD technology.

  • RIB(Rigid Inflatable Boat) is widely used for coastal transportation in the commercial use and for ISR(Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) in the military use. Since RIB is around 10 meters in length and over 30 knots in speed, its motion characteristics in waves is quite different from a large scale ship. When it turns, large roll occurs and heeling direction is opposite to the large ship's case. Currently, many countries are developing USV(Unmanned Surface Vehicle) of which type is RIB. In order to develop high performance autopilot and way point controller, it is very important to identify RIB's motion characteristics. In this paper, sea trial test results of a 7-meter RIB such as speed, turning, zig-zag, and way point control tests were represented and its resistance and propulsion model was identified by using sea trial data and Savitsky's formula. In addition, the state space model which will be used in the identification of the four-degree-of-freedom dynamics in the next step was formulated and the identification procedure was proposed.

A real-time unmeasured dynamic response prediction for nuclear facility pressure pipeline system

  • A real-time unmeasured dynamic response prediction process for the nuclear power plant pressure pipeline is proposed and its performance is tested in the test-loop system (KAERI). The aim of the process is to predict unmeasurable or unreachable dynamic responses such as acceleration, velocity, and displacement by using a limited amount of directly measured physical responses. It is achieved by combining a well-constructed finite element model and robust inverse force identification algorithm. The pressure pipeline system is described by using the displacement-pressure vibro-acoustic formulation to consider fully filled liquid effect inside the pipeline structure. A robust multiphysics modal projection technique is employed for the real-time sensor synchronized prediction. The inverse force identification method is also derived and employed by using Bathe's time integration method to identify the full-field responses of the target system from the modal domain computation. To validate the performance of the proposed process, an experimental test is extensively performed on the nuclear power plant pressure pipeline test-loop under operation conditions. The results show that the proposed identification process could well estimate the unmeasured acceleration in both frequency and time domain faster than 32,768 samples per sec.

  • Forensic speaker identification needs high accuracy and reliability. However, the current level of speaker identification does not reach its demand. Therefore, the confidence evaluation of results is one of the issues in forensic speaker identification. In this paper, we propose a new confidence measure of forensic speaker identification system. This is based on pitch differences between the registered utterances of the identified speaker and the test utterance. In the experiments, we evaluate this confidence measure by speech identification tasks on various environments. As the results, the proposed measure can be a good measure indicating if the result is reliable or not.

Real-coded genetic algorithm for identification of time-delay process

  • FOPDT(First-Order Plus Dead-Time) and SOPDT(Second-Order Plus Dead-Time) process, which are used as the most useful process in industry, are difficult about process identification because of the long dead-time problem and the model mismatch problem. Thus, the accuracy of process identification is the most important problem in FOPDT and SOPDT process control. In this paper, we proposed the real-coded genetic algorithm for identification of FOPDT and SOPDT processes. The proposed method using real-coding genetic algorithm shows better performance characteristic comparing with the existing an area-based identification method and a directed identification method that use step-test responses. The proposed strategy obtained useful result through a number of simulation examples.
