정밀산업(TFT-LCD) 공장 내 노광장치의 대형 세대별 동강성 허용규제치 예측 및 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on How to Predict and Evaluate the Dynamic Stiffness Criteria of Exposure Equipment in Precision Industrial Factory(TFT-LCD))

  • The lithography system installed inside precision industry's (e.g. TFT-LCD) production factories are increasing in size, thereby increasing its dynamic load along with it. Such condition causes vibration within the area where the system is installed, which then negatively affects the production line to produce defective products. To prevent this type of situation, the facilities should adopt dynamic design that considers the lithography system's dynamic load. This study predicts the maximum value allowed for dynamic stiffness (which is a ratio of vibration response against a single unit of the dynamic load) of the lithography system and explains the result of its application on actual structures inside the facilities.

A new block assembly method for shipbuilding at sea

  • In this paper, we introduce a new method for assembly of shipbuilding blocks at sea and present its feasibility focusing on structural safety. The core concept of this method is to assemble ship building blocks by use of bolting, gluing and welding techniques at sea without dock facilities. Due to its independence of dock facilities, shipyard construction capability could be increased considerably by the proposed method. To show the structural safety of this method, a bulk carrier and an oil tanker were employed, and we investigated the structural behavior of those ships to which the new block assembly method was applied. The ship hull models attached with connective parts are analyzed in detail through finite element analyses, and the cargo capacity of the bulk carrier is briefly discussed as well. The results of these studies show the potential for applying this new block assembly method to practical shipbuilding.

인지도를 이용한 대학교 캠퍼스의 이미지 분석 - 연세대학교와 그 주변을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Image of the University Campus with Cognitive Maps - The Image of Yonsei University and Its Surrounding Area -)

  • To develop a master plan of a university campus, we need to know how students view and use their campus. For this purpose, the well-known Linch's(1960) cognitive mapping methods are used to figure out the image of Yonsei University and its surrounding area which is perceived by the students of Yonsei University. Major findings are that the cognition levels for the edge which divides Yonsei University from the surroundings and the paths which the students commute along are relatively high. The students mainly use campus space near the main gate rather than the space deep inside of the university, which shows they use the campus space unevenly. Therefore, when considering a new master plan of Yonsei University, it is needed to develop methods which increase the even use of the campus space such as developing new commuting paths.

  • School architecture has been functionally changed a lot as well as the changes of school education. School tries to educate people to recognize their dignity and give life to their personality. In addition, it's also important for school facilities to contribute to making social communities as community establishments beyond its own purpose of education. Researches for school architecture have been going on to make facilities suited for that. At this point of view, this research is looking for methodology contributed to design institutions suitable for education through working on precedents for planning school design. One way to this is studying the method of designing of the design team, 'Coelacanth', selected for good architecture in Japanese school architecture so many times and finding out its connection to interior.

녹지공간의 이미지 비교분석에 관한 연구 (A comparative analysis of images for green spaces)

  • The aim of this paper was to investigate images of neighborhood parks and pergola facilities. 280 individuals responded to the 19 semantic differential pollar terms for all four parks. A 7-point semantic differential scale was used. Results from the data analysis suggest several important findings; 1. Mean scores were significantly different in most of S.D.scales according to park and pergola facilities types. As compared with park, S.D.scales values of pergola varied with its visual identity in the spatial composition of park. 2. Data from the factor analysis revealed that four dimensions appeared for all park and pergola types : "Evaluation ", "Potentiality", "Variety", and "Familiarity". 3. In terms of the "Familiarity" dimension, Omok park and its pergola were viewed a ssignificantly more familiar than any of the other three areas. 4. Parks were perceived more positive than pergolas images in the dimensions of "Evaluation ", "Variety", and "Familiarity". 5. Regression analysis showed that "Evaluation "and "Variety" dimensions were mainly related to visual preference.

철골조학교(鐵骨造學校) 스틸스터드 벽체(壁體)의 단열(斷熱) 및 결로방지(結露防止) 성능(性能) 평가(評價)를 위한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究) (Experimental Study to Evaluate the Thermal and Condensation Performance of Steel Stud Walls in Steel-Framed Schools)

  • The thermal and condensation performance of steel stud walls are monitored in steel-framed schools of Ee-Wol Elementary School and kindergarten using temperature and humidity sensors installed. The monitoring process carried out during the summer and winter period, shows decrement effect of the external heat flow to be quite remarkable and excellent. And steel stud walls provides a highly efficient time-lag effect in spite of its light weight property, with 30 minutes to 4 hours time-lag for external heat flow, which variation mainly depends on its location of each part of the wall. Any condensation phenomena are not observed in either external or internal surfaces.

  • The electricity supply industry for which high stability and quality of power are the primary aim of power company and the first order of business target. As the facilities of generations, transmissions and substations are increased every year, power system becomes more complex and hard to control. The complexity of the power system causes harmful influence on its security and power facilities. Moreover, difficulty of predicting weather condition in these days with its complexity increases the level of uncertainty of energy demand. Wide area online monitoring of power system offers lots of informations and solutions which clear the causes of insecurity in power system. In this paper, we presents the development of synchrophasor data measurement and transmission system using satellite network for power system online monitoring.

대구 지역 초등학교의 생태학습장 조성과 활용 (Making and Using an Ecological Learning-Place in Primary Schools in Daegu)

  • Because of the rapid industrialization and urbanization, urban dwellers are lack of opportunity to contact with nature, and hence alienated from it. In particular, primary school children who are very sensible to nature need more opportunities to learn nature by direct interactions with it. For this purpose, a movement for making and using ecological learning-place in play-ground within primary school. It has been found as a result of research on ecological learning-places in 7 primary schools in Daegu that such places, equipped with several ecological facilities, provide both pupils and local dwellers around schools with a place for ecological learning and for rest. But some of them have been left without care and hence can not be properly used, because of inappropriate site, insufficient facilities, and deficient programme for practical use. In conclusion, the paper reconfirms importance of ecological learning-place within grounds of primary school in terms of its educational, social and ecological effects, and suggests briefly some measures to encourage its construction and practical use.

The National Inspection at KAERI

  • In this paper, the major changes of the national inspection in respect of the KAERI nuclear facilities were summarized. The frequency of the national inspection was decreased since the amendment of the Notification of the NSSC on the national inspection. But the national inspection broadened its scope and its implementation procedures and criteria were not clear. So, it is necessary to establish and enhance the national inspection system including the implementing guides and criteria. In addition, the internal regulation of the nuclear material accountancy for the nuclear facilities should be approved from the NSSC and observed by the KAERI in accordance with the national law. As the Notification of the NSSC on the national inspection was amended in Sep. 2014, it need to be revised to reflect the detail accountancy procedures and the preparation of the national inspection. So, KAERI will revise it to meet the international and national requirements as well as to implement the safeguards effectively at facility level.

도시정비사업의 기부채납 공공시설 이용실태에 따른 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Utilization Level of Public Facilities Obtained through Contributed Acceptance on Urban Regeneration Planning)

  • 기부채납은 본래의 공익과 사익의 합리적인 조정수단으로써 운영되는 것과 달리 효용성 및 사후관리의 문제 등의 많은 문제점이 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 실제 기부채납이 된 공공시설의 현황분석을 통해 문제점을 살펴보았으며, 실질적으로 이용하는 주민들의 의식조사를 통해 개선방향을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 기부채납 공공시설 현황분석 및 이용자 의식조사분석에 따른 문제점은 자투리땅에 조성되는 위치 및 입지여건의 문제, 단지 내 시설로 인식 및 이용되는 문제, 거주자들의 이용 및 안전을 고려하지 않은 가로시설물 조성 및 사후관리의 문제, 주변지역현황을 고려하지 않은 효용성의 문제점을 도출하였다. 각 문제점에 따른 기부채납 공공시설의 효율적인 운영을 위한 개선방안으로는 첫째, 이용률 및 효율성을 높일 수 있도록 기부채납 공공시설의 위치 및 입지여건을 고려한 계획이 수립되어야하며 둘째, 기부채납 공공시설의 이용성 증진을 위한 각 지자체별 홍보가 필요하다. 셋째, 공공의 시설이라는 인지를 위한 표지 및 안내판 등의 기부채납 공공시설 인지의 의무화를 시행하며, 넷째, 효율적인 사후관리를 위한 공공시설의 운영을 주민, SH LH공사 등에게 위임하는 방안과, 마지막으로 해당 지역에 필요한 공공시설을 파악할 수 있는 공공시설서비스 지도를 작성하여 기부채납 시 활용될 수 있도록 제안하여야 한다고 사료된다.
