  • Researchers have insisted that mathematics should be learned not as a product but as a process. Nevertheless school mathematics has chosen ‘top-down’ method and has usually instilled into the mind of students the mathematical concepts in the form of product. Consequently school mathematics has been teamed by students without the process of inquiring and mathematical thinking. According to Freudenthal, it is a major source of all problems of mathematics education. He suggested mathematising as the method for 'teaching to think mathematically' 'Teaching to think mathematically' through the process of mathematization, interpreting and analysing mathematics as an activity, is a means to embody the purpose of mathematics education.

  • The article considers the training of specialists in education in the conditions of distance learning. It is lights up the advantages of distance learning and determined the characteristic features of distance learning of students training in the implementation of these technologies in the educational process. The article focuses on the main aspects of computerization of studies as a technological breach in methodology, organization and practical realization of educational process and informative culture of a teacher. Information technologies are intensive involved in life of humanity, educational process of schools and higher educational establishments. Intercommunication is examined between the processes of informatization of the society and education.

Product Development Class using Product Data Management Software and 3D Printing (PDM 소프트웨어와 3D 프린팅을 활용한 제품개발 수업 운영 사례)

  • This paper proposes a framework of engineering education for product development processes based on product data management (PDM) software and 3D printing. The PDM software supports the product development process-oriented educational coursework, collaborative team projects and project-based learning environment. The 3D printing supports the prototyping step in the product development process and helps participants consider physical realization of their designs during the product design and development phases. The framework was implemented in an introductory course for engineering students to product design and development, and author found that it is important to support rich communication among participants including lecturers, teaching assistants and students to enhance the quality of education and to overcome the burden of learning various computer-aided tools and 3D printing techniques needed for the framework.

  • This article analyzes the state and development of multimedia technologies in the educational process. The reasons for the emergence of multimedia educational technologies are shown. The definition of the concept of "multimedia education" is given. The advantages and disadvantages of teaching using multimedia technologies are presented. The article, based on multimedia technologies, provides one of the ways to solve the problem of lack of classroom time for the presentation of all educational material in the process of teaching engineering students. The creation and application of educational videos in education is discussed, an example of teaching electrical engineering is given; the requirements for the development of video lessons, their advantages and importance in the educational process are indicated.

Structural Analysis among Science Achievement, Science Process Skills and Affective Perception toward Science of High School Students. (고등학생들의 과학에 대한 정의적 언식과 과학 탐구능력 및 과학 학습성취도의 구조분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze relationships among science achievement, science process skills and affective perception of high school students. The affective perception was included attitude toward science and science anxiety in the study. The instruments were developed HARS and SAMS for this study. The subject was sampled 1,115 students by stratified cluster sampling method. The major findings of this study were as follows: The tendency to affective perception was investigated according to students variables. Atittude toward science was showed a negative perception on female than male, in rural area than city. Science anxiety was percepted highly on female than male, in rural area than city. Attitude toward science showed positive relations to science process skills, science achievement, but which showed negative relation to science anxiety. Science anxiety showed negative relations among science process skills, science achievement and attitude toward science. Structural relationships among affective perception, science process skills and science achievement were analyzed by effect size through the path analysis on the independent and dependent variables. By the results, it was indicated that there have significant direct effect not only affective perception influence on science achievement but also on science process skills in hypothesized model. Prediction of science achievement and science process skills were clarified to characteristics of the affective perception.Therefore, understanding about affective perception will be helpful to make the strategy of science teaching

The effects of Application of Science Improvement Activity Program on Science Process Skills of Elementary School Science High Achievers (과학계발활동 프로그램 적용이 과학성적 우수아의 과학 탐구 능력에 미치는 효과)

  • This study organized a Science Improvement Activity Program designed for the excellent students in science in 5th and 6th grades. After application the effect of the program on science process skills was analyzed. The Science Improvement Activity Program was applied to the experimental group as a club activity after school during the semester. The results of this study were as follows: First, the students participated in the Science Improvement Activity showed an increase in the science process skills compared with those who didn't. Second, it was found have improved in enhancing their science process elements of observation, measurement, data analysis, forming hypotheses, and controlling variables. It is expected that the development of activity programs and their active application should be done in order for schools to provide science education according to each student's capacity from various angles.

The Effect of Virtual Reality Simulation Education on Nursing Process Competency (가상현실 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호과정 수행능력에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was performed to identify the difference in nursing process competency, critical thinking disposition and self-efficacy after applying virtual reality simulation education. The data were collected from 31 nursing college students using URL from February to April 2021 and analyzed SPSS 22.0. The pretest and posttest result of each group showed statistically significant improvements in nursing process competency(t=-3.776, p=.001), critical thinking disposition(t=-3.608, p=.001) and self-efficacy(t=-3.580, p=.001). As a result of this study, it was found that virtual reality simulation education improve nursing process competency, critical thinking disposition and self-efficacy of nursing students. Therefore, virtual reality simulation education will be the basis for preparing effective clinical practice education strategies for nursing students. It is suggested to have follow-up studies on virtual reality simulation education and various scenarios should be developed.

  • In this paper, we define an analogue of generalized Wiener measure and investigate its basic properties. We define (${\hat}It{o}$ type) stochastic integrals with respect to the generalized Wiener process and prove the ${\hat}It{o}$ formula. The existence and uniqueness of the solution of stochastic differential equation associated with the generalized Wiener process is proved. Finally, we generalize the linear filtering theory of Kalman-Bucy to the case of a generalized Wiener process.

  • The purpose of this research is to accomplish the goal of science education based in the seventh science course of study by suggesting the plan for development of executable method in the learning process of Earth Science education and establishing a practical model to evaluate its achievement. Furthermore, the idea of this research is to recognize a way of using and consideration at practical use of the model. Since the purpose of the educational evaluation is to maximize the efficiency of school studying, there are some negative aspects in our current method of evaluation to achieve the purpose. New system has been introduced into the educational evaluation to resolve such a critical issue. Despite some positive aspects in the system, it could not be escaped from the multiple choice and pens examination. This could be caused by in various limitations, especially the insufficiency of teachers' awareness and the data about the Performance assessment. This research is to develop and use the practical model for the Performance assessment in consideration of current educational circumstances of Junior and High school. The model of the Performance assessment in this research is to sufficiently evaluate student's ability and skill in the learning process of Earth Science education. Hence, it is dedicated to the education for human being and improve quality in the learning process of the Earth Science education among the modern society, which is characterized globalization and information. Furthermore, it may promote the growth of various character of students and increase creativity and skill for the problem solving.

  • The ability of computational thinking is a key competence that person of talent in the future should keep. Computational thinking is a serial process in which a problem is defined in context of computing, stages of abstraction are processed in order to find the efficient solution, the most appropriate process and resources for a solution are selected and combined through algorithms which use various concepts, principles and methods for automatic implementation of abstract concepts. It needs appropriate learning content in stage of elementary school. This study has verified the effect it made on improvement of learner's creative personality by developing and applying the educational content for software education based on the integrative production. The result of study confirmed that learning through the educational content for software education based on the integrative production affects improvement on learner's creativity positively and suggested a method of applying it to computing education in elementary school.
