Modernization levels of the potential implementation are formalized for enterprises: contractile, extensive technical, technological, progressive, adaptive, steady, intensive, creative, absolute and leader modernization. This allowed to specify the directions and tasks of the enterprise modernization at different management levels. Accordingly, the conditions and criteria for selecting resource tools are set. It is proved that the strategies of the potential modernization of enterprises must be carried out at four main management levels: first, at the enterprise level; secondly, for a particular type of product / service; third, by functional directions of modernization of separate spheres of the enterprise activity or responsibility, fourth, at the level of structural units of the enterprise. It is substantiated that in the processes due to the activation of the potential modernization, the resources are transformed into the results of the innovation implementation and the investment strategies modernization. A system of tasks for the corporate strategies implementation in order to modernize microeconomic systems has been formed. Key vectors of the activation determine the nature and properties of investment resources and necessary innovations to enhance the modernization potential. Therefore, the system of innovation and investment strategies' modernization, based on the vector and resource provision of the modernization process, is specified:

  • This research analyzes the patterns in modernization of costume that reflects the attitude of accepting the Western culture and the differences in perception, during modernization period (1850-early 1910) in Japan. The Japanese attitude toward the Western costume can be roughly classified into three periods: impetuous acceptance in the early Restoration of Imperial Regime(1867-1883), aggressive acceptance in Rokumeikan period(1883-1887), and the coexistence of traditional and modern costumes after Meiji 20(1887-1910). A Western costume symbolizes wealth and power until Rokumeikan period, however, as it becomes more common, it is considered as an ordinary dress rather than a ceremonial dress. The exact opposite phenomenon occurs to traditional costume. Although Japanese modernization is initially forced by western ideology of power, positive reactions to western culture and changes in perception toward China leads to more active importation of western culture. This reflects the governmental effort such as the Foreigners Employment Policy in the early Meiji period, and the public also became receptive toward change. However, acceptance of the Western culture is only limited to academic and technological areas, while the traditional Japanese ethos(the Emperor system, Shintoism, patriarchism) is obstinately protected. Therefore, it can be inferred that such extreme polarization of modernization and traditional inheritance enabled both perspectives to retain their own characteristics.

To examine this, the way in which the characters of the design of the publicness have been changed will be concentrated on in the public area since 1980s, Particularly, this research has been focused on the Second modernity design which is against the aggressive utopia - oriented modernization and Reflexive Modernization which has been mentioned by Anthony Giddens, Ulich Beck, and especially Scott Lash. Also, to understand Reflexive Modernization, the realism art in the view point of the objective recognition of modernity and identity emphasized by Scott Lash will be examined. Through the analysis of the Nene Sachlichkeit which is a part of the realism art, how the reflection of the design can be the function of the design will be addressed and some examples will be analyzed in terms of communications and self-education in the design of the publicness. Thus, Contemporary Built Environment Design features are categorized into universality, objectivity, and rationality; it reaches that the past Neue Sachlichkeit meets the spirit of art; it concludes that the efforts of the reflection of the modernity, intensity and development in design are the challenges for the purpose of the design of the publicness.

  • Three goats were fed with $^{15}N$-labelled rice straw to study the characteristics of digestion, assimilation, metabolism and excretion of C and N compounds from rice straw. It was shown that the amount of $^{15}N$ assimilated into the bodies of the two slaughtered goats accounted for 38.5 and 23.6% of the total amount of $^{15}N$ ingestion in the experimental diet by each goat. The $^{15}N$ excreted via the feces and urine for the three goats accounted for 34.8, 33.2 and 33.9% of the total amount of $^{15}N$ ingested in the feed of the 3 goats. The recoveries of $^{15}N$ from the two slaughtered goats were 73.3 and 57.5%, with the corresponding rates of $^{15}N$ loss 26.7 and 42.5% respectively. The amino acids digestibilities were 68.7 and 54.0%, while the digestibilities of carbohydrates were 74.8 and 67.7% respectively for goats 1 and 3.

  • A kind of Korean traditional jacket, Baeja, has been a Korean traditional costume equipped with practicality and formative aesthetics from the Three Kingdoms period to the Joseon Dynasty. Accordingly, the researcher of this study highly valued a modern sense of Baeja with various types of design and forms and attempted to make efforts to apply it into modern life. This study provided a new direction in the modernization work of traditional costumes by creating fashion images newly interpreted corresponding to a modern sense and trend through the application of formative characteristics and noticeable elements via the coordination of traditional Baeja and modern costumes. On the one hand, it would be meaningful in terms of contributing to the activation of traditional Hanbok by providing people with ample opportunities to wear it in modern daily lives variously. On the other hand, the actual purpose of this study was to perform a modernization work for traditional costumes by attempting to conduct a crossover that could let people move into other areas freely, that is, a creative and innovative research associating the area of costume history and that of coordination.

  • Kyoto, which was Japan's political and cultural capital for more than a millennium before the dawn of the modern era, shows distinctive characteristics formed in the process of urban modernization. A citizen plaza perfectly fit to a modern city is lying on the east side, but a delayed urban reconstruction in the city center due to a strong conservative self-government awareness, as well as a delayed modernization of tax system, caused disorderly urban sprawl to appear in the suburbs. Thanks to the enactment of urban planning law enacted in 1919 by the government (Ministry of Internal Affairs) and an increasing awareness about the necessity and rationality of urban planning projects, urban renovation took place at a rapid pace. In the meantime, new ways of urban design were sought for and experimented to conserve it as a historical city against the city' quickly changing landscape.

  • Korean society is a mixed risk society in terms of risk and distrust. This is because the risks and disasters of the farming and industrial societies, the modern and the information society, exist simultaneously in the present time. Ulrich Beck's point that the endless development of science and technology to acquire economic wealth is simultaneously entering a risk society is providing us with many implications. In this paper, we reviewed the Ulrich Beck's "reflexive modernization" theory in the late 20th century, pointing to the rise of a risk society as a result of the evolution of new modernization. This is because the "reflexive modernization" can be a direction in which we can reflect our wrong past from a human-centered perspective and design a desirable future. In this sense, it is important to present ways to overcome the dangerous society through the reinterpretation of Ulrich Beck, who advocated the modernization of reflectively. In order to overcome the future risks that the fourth industrial revolution will bring, we must provide direction for the government's security policies and public security consciousness.
