Relationships Among User Group, Gender and Self-disclosure in Social Media

  • In recent years the privacy issue on social media is often being discussed. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationships among user gender, user group according to user activity level (highly active vs less active) and self-disclosure in social media. We collected a total of 180 million tweets issued by 13 million twitter users for 12 months and investigated attributes of tweet (user's profile, profile image, description, geographic information, URL) which are related to self-disclosure and boundary impermeability. The results show there are significant (p<0.001) interactions between user gender, user group and each attribute of tweet that are related to self-disclosure and show that the patterns of self-disclosure are different across attributes. The results also show that the mean self-disclosure scores and boundary impermeability of top 10% highly active users are significantly higher than other less active users for all genders.

  • The Purpose of this study is to exmaine fundamental problems of Gwangyang Port and draw up plans of its Hub Port. Gwangyang Port has been gradually reduced container cargo increase rate. on account of large development of Chinese Port, undevelopment of Hinterland, Port facilities of Gwangyang Port. We should develop hinterland to be closely connected with Port Cluster, Business City, Free Economic Zone to increase cargo volume. and in order to increase transshipment cargo volume, We should prepare diverse plans that can induce Chinese and Japanese transshipment cargo. Gwangyang Port and Busan Port should be managed united one port system by a Port Authority to strengthen international competitiveness. Activation of new ports for the most part call for full support by Government at the beginning. Gwangyang Port's future it can be if Government has strong will.

  • The world Economy has rearranged into three economic block. Especially, the nation's economy in Northeast area are an engine of world economic development. Among these nations in Northeast area china has done a main role of the development of world economy. Owing to raising of the China economy, the Export-Import of container load has rapidly increased in this area. So it is very important of the nation to manage a port. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analysis a port of Masan and to search the way of development. To accomplish this purpose, I will analyze a logistics circumstance in northeast area and a port of Pusan and Jinhae. In conclusion, government and local government must enlarge the investment to develope the port of Masan. Local government should do its best effort to solve the problem of port of Masan. And all citizen should recognize that a development of the port of Masan will be the engine of the raising of Masan.

  • According to opening Seoul-Busan high speed rail line in 2004, we are studying to offer speedily for the parcel service of high speed rail-combined transport as it does, tender the quality freight services within a one and the same high speed train formation. Therefore, we reviewed for various types of HSR-combined transport and suggested to application methods in Korean high speed rail line. Through these kinds of approaches, we are able to expect the fulfillment of customer needs for high speed rail market segments, the profit maximization of future railway operating companies, and enhancement for cost-effective rail network operation of the mixed traffic on infrastructure cost-reduction in national logistics.

Fuzzy ANP Application for Vender Prioritization (공급업체 우선순위 선정을 위한 Fuzzy ANP의 활용)

  • Vender prioritization process is one of the most critical tasks of production and logistics management for many companies. Determining the most critical criteria for vender prioritization process is a vital means for a purchasing company to improve its supply chain productivity. This study discuss the use of a Fuzzy analytic network process (Fuzzy ANP) model which is an efficient tool to handle the fuzziness of the data involved in deciding the preferences of different criteria which are not independent. Also, the comparison of classical ANP and Fuzzy ANP is described using simulation with triangular distribution random number generation. It is shown that Fuzzy ANP model possesses some attractive properties and could be used as an alternative to the known vender prioritization methods.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the 24 mail center's efficiency and productivity changes from first quarter to fourth quarter of 2008 using window analysis and Malmquist productivity index. Row views of window analysis results make it possible to determine trends and/or observed behavior with the same data set, and column views to examine the stability of results across different data sets. Malmquist productivity indexes greater than unity translate into improvements in productivity, and less than unity mean deterioration in performance over time. The results of this study suggest that DEA models under dynamic situations such as window analysis and Malmquist productivity index enable us to comprehend the efficiency and productivity changes over time and to show the direction of improvements.

  • Today's environment of enterprise is changing, They have to face customer' demands with the right product, the right service and supply them at the right time. And also cut down logistics and inventory cost and bring up the profit as much as they can. This means the change of putting enterprise first in importance to putting customer first importance. therefore to correspond to customer's demand, shorting lead time is becoming a essential condition. The answer to this changes of environment is supply chain management. In this paper, It consolidates the necessity on a LTV(Life Time Value) and analyzes data which is concerned of Customer Value. Under the these environments, defines the LTV(Life Time Value) rule that can improve the customer value. We solved this problems using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) for consistency at relationship matrix, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) is based on Saaty's consistency rate. If consistency rate is under 0.1 point, preference rate's weights are acceptable. This study develop a program for AHP weights and support Satty's consistency rate.

XML-based EDI Document Processing System with Binary Format Mapping Rules

  • Recently, the magnitude of electronic data interchange (EDI) document processing for the handling of port logistics is abruptly being increased. The existing system processes EDI documents in a script mode, but due to a complicated script preparation procedure and low document processing efficiency, it cannot meet the demand as the usage flow of documents increases. In this paper, an EDI electronic document processing system was designed and implemented in a document scanner and mapper, which are binary form electronic document processing tools and do not require script files during the conversion of extensible markup language (XML)-based electronic documents. This new system has the merits of XML features during reading and writing with improved speed, usage convenience, and good portability on systems when compared to the conventional ones.

An Analysis of Container Port Efficiency in ASEAN

  • In order to improve the overall ASEAN maritime transport network, each port's efficiency is regarded as a crucial factor that should be calculated periodically. This study evaluated the relative efficiency of container port operations of 32 ports belonging to 9 ASEAN nations using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). It found that 2 out of 32 ports in 2010 were measured as efficient ports. This study yielded two major findings. Firstly, the ports assessed as inefficient need to benchmark similar ports in size and structure from the ports that are assessed as efficient to improve their efficiency. Secondly, these results could be used to determine potential candidates and country for an international port development co-operation programme with Korea to improve the performance of the entire ASEAN port network by developing the infrastructures of ill-equipped ports.

A Study on Unified Packing Standard for Agricultural Products Based on Pallet Stacking Efficiency (팔레트 적재효율을 고려한 농산물 포장상자 통합규격에 관한 연구)

  • Despite the variety in sizes and shapes of agricultural products, the unified standardization of packing has been a long time necessity. In this study the stacking efficiency of packing standards for each box using packing Monte Carlo simulation based on the standard pallet is evaluated. As a result of simulation the unified packing standard for agricultural products is suggested by 550$\times$366 mm. With this study it is expected that the unification of the standards can help to increase the utilization of reusable packages and to improve efficiency of agricultural logistics.
