효율적인 전력선통신 라우팅 경로 탐색 기법 (An Efficient Routing Path Search Technique in Power Line Communication)

  • As field of application of AMI, AMR uses the power line as the primary means of communication. PLC has a big merit without installation of the new network for communication in a field using the power line which is the existing equipment. However, there is a serious obstacle in commercialization for the instability by noise and communication environment. Therefore, the technical method for maintaining the communication state which overcome such demerit and was stabilized is required essentially. PLC routing technology is applied with the alternative plan now. The routing technology currently managed by field includes many problems by applying the algorithm of an elementary level. PLC routing path search problem can be modeled with the problem of searching for optimal solution as similar to such as optimal routing problem and TSP(Travelling salesman problem). In this paper, in order to search for a PLC routing path efficiently and to choose the optimal path, GA(Genetic Algorithm) was applied. Although PLC was similar in optimal solution search as compared with typical GA, it also has a difference point by the characteristic of communication, and presented the new methodology over this. Moreover, the validity of application technology was verified by showing the experimental result to which GA is applied and analyzing as compared with the existing algorithm.

노드의 속성을 고려한 효율적인 TICC(Time Interval Clustering Control) 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficient TICC(Time Interval Clustering Control) Algorithm using Attribute of Node)

  • 한정된 용량의 배터리에 의존하는 MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network)에서는 에너지 효율을 높이기 위한 다양한 클러스터링 기법과 라우팅 알고리즘이 연구되고 있다. 일반적으로 무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서는 LEACH와 같은 클러스터 기반의 동적 라우팅 알고리즘이 많이 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 클러스터 내의 각 노드가 가지는 속성을 고려하여 클러스터를 생성하고 노드를 관리하는 TICC(Time Interval Clustering Control) 알고리즘 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 TICC은 노드의 속성 중의 하나인 베터리 값 즉 에너지 값으로 노드의 에너지 레벨을 분류한다. 그리고 분류된 에너지 레벨에 대응하는 시간차 컨트롤 기법을 이용하여 클러스터링 과정을 수행하거나 노드들을 관리한다. 특히 제안한 TICC 알고리즘은 MANET에서 클러스터의 생성, 재생성, 진입 노드 및 이탈 노드의 검출과 관리를 통해 노드의 에너지 관리 효율을 향상시키고 클러스터의 Lifetime을 증가시키는 결과를 보여주었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 2030년까지의 전력수요, 전력생산중 원자력발전의 비중, 기존 원전표준화 계획, 국내제작 능력을 반영하여 개량형 경수로와 중수로 (CANDU)에 대한 참조 시나리오를 도출하고 각 참조 시나리오와 핵연료주기 전략별 핵연류주기 비용, 원자력 발전 단가, 우라늄 소요량, 인력 소요량을 계산하였다. 참조 시나리오들에 대한 분석을 한 결과 우라늄 자원활용, 원전안전성, 인력활용 측면이 노형 전략수립의 주요 인자로 작용하며 발전단가는 전략별로 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

교역 상대국의 물류성과지표가 한국 무역에 미치는 영향 (The effects of Logistics Performance Index on International Trade of Korea)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 주요 무역 상대국들을 대상으로 물류성과지표들이 한국의 수입과 수출에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 계량 분석하였다. 중력모형에 기초하여 한국의 무역대상국을 소득수준으로 구분하여 분석한 결과, 물류성과지표의 탄력도는 중력모형의 거리변수의 탄력도보다 계수가 크게 나타나 양국의 교역량에 물류성과지표의 개선이 중요한 의미를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 소득수준이 낮은 국가의 경우 한국으로의 수출에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 물류성과지표들을 세분화하여 분석한 결과, 저소득 국가의 한국으로의 수출에는 물류역량, 국제수송, 화물추적, 적시성이 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났으며, 중저소득의 국가의 경우는 물류시설과 화물추적이 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 중고소득의 경우는 모든 개별 지표, 즉, 통관, 물류시설, 물류역량, 국제수송, 화물추적, 적시성 변수가 통계적으로 유의하게 도출되어 물류성과지표가 미치는 무역에 미치는 영향이 가장 많은 것으로 분석되고 있다.

공공시설물관리 역량 진단 모델 개발 (Development of A Model for Diagnosing Management Capabilities of Public Facility)

  • 최근 국내 공공시설물의 노후화가 가속화되며 기존의 사후 유지관리 방식은 총체적이고 선제적인 시설자산관리의 개념으로 변화하고 있다. 이에 향후 공공시설물관리는 안전성 제고와 유지관리뿐만 아니라, 시설에 대한 가치 평가, 생애주기 관리 계획, 재원 마련 등의 확장된 역량 확보가 강조되고 있다. 본 연구는 국제 기준을 기반으로 공공시설물관리를 위한 역량 진단 모델을 개발하고, 관리 주체별 환경을 고려해 대응할 수 있도록 역량의 성숙도 개선 자료를 제공한다. 개발된 역량 진단 모델은 공공시설물의 10개 관리 역량, 113개의 역량 진단 요인, 관리 역량의 계량화 지수, 관리 활동을 정의하는 성숙도 수준으로 제시되었다. 향후 10년간 지속적으로 공공시설물관리의 중요성이 부각되는 상황에서 본 고에서 제시한 시설자산관리지수는 공공시설물을 운영하는 관리기관들의 강점과 약점을 파악하고 역량 향상을 위한 방향을 수립하는데 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

통합 이미지 처리 기술을 이용한 콘크리트 교량 균열 탐지 및 매핑 (Crack Inspection and Mapping of Concrete Bridges using Integrated Image Processing Techniques)

  • In many developed countries, such as South Korea, efficiently maintaining the aging infrastructures is an important issue. Currently, inspectors visually inspect the infrastructure for maintenance needs, but this method is inefficient due to its high costs, long logistic times, and hazards to the inspectors. Thus, in this paper, a novel crack inspection approach for concrete bridges is proposed using integrated image processing techniques. The proposed approach consists of four steps: (1) training a deep learning model to automatically detect cracks on concrete bridges, (2) acquiring in-situ images using a drone, (3) generating orthomosaic images based on 3D modeling, and (4) detecting cracks on the orthmosaic image using the trained deep learning model. Cascade Mask R-CNN, a state-of-the-art instance segmentation deep learning model, was trained with 3235 crack images that included 2415 hard negative images. We selected the Tancheon overpass, located in Seoul, South Korea, as a testbed for the proposed approach, and we captured images of pier 34-37 and slab 34-36 using a commercial drone. Agisoft Metashape was utilized as a 3D model generation program to generate an orthomosaic of the captured images. We applied the proposed approach to four orthomosaic images that displayed the front, back, left, and right sides of pier 37. Using pixel-level precision referencing visual inspection of the captured images, we evaluated the trained Cascade Mask R-CNN's crack detection performance. At the coping of the front side of pier 37, the model obtained its best precision: 94.34%. It achieved an average precision of 72.93% for the orthomosaics of the four sides of the pier. The test results show that this proposed approach for crack detection can be a suitable alternative to the conventional visual inspection method.

SOM과 LSTM을 활용한 지역기반의 부동산 가격 예측 (Real Estate Price Forecasting by Exploiting the Regional Analysis Based on SOM and LSTM)

  • Purpose The study aims to predict real estate prices by utilizing regional characteristics. Since real estate has the characteristic of immobility, the characteristics of a region have a great influence on the price of real estate. In addition, real estate prices are closely related to economic development and are a major concern for policy makers and investors. Accurate house price forecasting is necessary to prepare for the impact of house price fluctuations. To improve the performance of our predictive models, we applied LSTM, a widely used deep learning technique for predicting time series data. Design/methodology/approach This study used time series data on real estate prices provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. For time series data preprocessing, HP filters were applied to decompose trends and SOM was used to cluster regions with similar price directions. To build a real estate price prediction model, SVR and LSTM were applied, and the prices of regions classified into similar clusters by SOM were used as input variables. Findings The clustering results showed that the region of the same cluster was geographically close, and it was possible to confirm the characteristics of being classified as the same cluster even if there was a price level and a similar industry group. As a result of predicting real estate prices in 1, 2, and 3 months, LSTM showed better predictive performance than SVR, and LSTM showed better predictive performance in long-term forecasting 3 months later than in 1-month short-term forecasting.

철도인프라 BIM 성과관리를 위한 업무 및 성과기록 표준 템플릿 개발 (Development of Business and Performance Record Standard Template for Rail Infrastructure BIM Performance Management)

  • Recently, the government has actively promoted the introduction of BIM at the national level to improve the efficiency and productivity of the construction industry, and private interest in the application of BIM has also increased. However, despite the large amount of references and information, not much research has been done in quantitative ways to accurately measure the performance of BIM projects. The purpose of this study is to review performance measurement cases using ROI, investment effect analysis, and queue model analysis using domestic and overseas BIM guideline research and to present standard templates that can quantitatively measure BIM performance records according to domestic conditions based on this. Performance measurement trends and cases according to the application of BIM were analyzed, and nine quantification elements were derived from this, and based on this, a performance measurement data collection template at the BIM life cycle stage was prepared. Detailed items and contents were prepared for the nine quantification elements, and the final template consisted of a total of 43 questions, divided into the entire stage (15), the beginning (8), the middle (8), and the latter (12) areas. It is expected that by using the standard template of railway BIM performance records developed in this study, the BIM design stage will be diagnosed and the deficiencies will be supplemented, which will be the basic data for measuring actual quantitative performance in all life cycle performance of future BIM projects.

Availability and Utilization of Library Portal Services for Research in University Libraries in Nigeria

  • This research paper delved into the availability and utilization of library portal services for research in university libraries in Nigeria. Two research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The study was carried out in Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) and Felix Aghagbo Nwako Library, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Library (UNIZIK), Awka. A total of 70 professionals (librarians and system analysts) in these libraries supplied data for the study. Data collected was analyzed using mean and standard deviation. These were used to answer the research questions while the null hypotheses were tested using t-test statistic at 0.05 level of significance and 68 degree of freedom. Major findings showed that portal services available in the library showed that the areas of availability of library portal services in Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, U.N.N. includes Agriculture, Health Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences and information about institution, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Natural Sciences. In Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library, Awka, the areas of Portal Library Services include Career Development, Federal Government Programs, Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Engineering, and Health Sciences. Findings on extent of utilization of portal services available in the libraries indicated that portal services are utilized to a low extent in the university libraries. Furthermore, librarians did not significantly differ in their opinions on the availability of library portal services and on the extent of utilization of library portal services in the libraries under study. It is therefore recommended that provisions should be made by the universities and library management to provide and update required portal services in addition to creating enabling environment for enhanced access and utilization of these services. The governments must make an effort to provide funds for policy implementation, necessary technology training for librarians and users, and develop general information infrastructure.

  • 빅데이터 활용에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라, 건설산업에서도 빅데이터와 관련한 다양한 연구개발이 이루어지고 있다. 건설산업의 다양한 분야 중 견적업무는 빅데이터의 활용성이 높은 분야로 인식되고 있다. 견적업무에서 빅데이터를 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는, 기업의 내외부 현황을 다면적으로 이해하고 이에 적합한 활용전략을 수립하는 것이 필요할 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 국내 CM사 견적업무에서의 빅데이터 활용현황을 조사하고, SWOT기법을 활용하여 CM사 견적업무에서 빅데이터를 활용하기 위한 전략 방향을 개발하고 제시하는데 있다. 문헌조사, 설문조사, 인터뷰 조사 및 SWOT분석을 바탕으로 CM사는 기업의 높은 수용 문화와 정보 자원을 적극 활용하고, 부족한 빅데이터 실무기반과 인적자원을 보강하는 전략이 필요한 것으로 제안하였다.
