An Empirical Study on the e-Service Quality of Public Administration Considered CRM (CRM을 고려한 공공행정 e-서비스 품질에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • An Empirical study was done for finding the e-service quality of public administration focused on customer relationship management(CRM). The e-service quality of public administration was categorized as system quality, information quality, service quality, and CRM after doing a literature review in e-service quality and public administration. The validity and reliability of a questionnaire were examined through factor analysis and regression analysis was done using the customer satisfaction and efficiency improvement of public administration as dependent variables and the 7 factor scores from the factor analysis as independent variables. The results show for that 6 factors are not only very important in explaining the customer satisfaction but also partially important for efficiency improvement of public administration. In particular, CRM has significant effect on both customer satisfaction and efficiency improvement of public administration.

  • This article presents computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations of nanoparticle movements and flow characteristics in laboratory-scale electrostatic precipitator (ESP) without corona discharge, and for simulation, it uses the commercial CFD program(CFD-ACE) including electrostatic theory and Lagrangian-based equation for nanoparticle movement. For validation of CFD results, a simple cylindrical type of ESP is simulated and numerical prediction shows fairly good agreement with the analytical solution. In particular, the present study investigates the effect of particle diameter, inlet flow rate, and applied electric potential on particle collection efficiency and compares the numerical prediction with the experimental data, showing good agreement. It is found that the particle collection efficiency decreases with increasing inlet flow rate because the particle detention time becomes shorter, whereas it decreases with the increase in nanoparticle diameter and with the decrease of applied electric voltage resulting from smaller terminal electrostatic velocity.

  • DMFC(Direct Methanol Fuel Cell) is one of promising candidates for power sources of small mobile IT devices like notebook, cell phone, and so on. Efficient operation of fuel cell system is very important for long-sustained power supply because of limited fuel tank size. It is necessary to investigate operation characteristics of fuel cell stack for optimal control of DMFC system. The generated voltage was modeled according to various operating condition; methanol concentration, stack temperature, and load current. It is inevitable for methanol solution at anode to cross over to cathode through MEA(membrane electrode assembly), which reduces the system efficiency and increases fuel consumption. In this study, optimal operation conditions are proposed by analyzing stack performance model, cross-over phenomenon, and system efficiency.

  • The Future Video Coding (FVC) is a new state of the art video compression standard that is going to standardize, as the next generation of High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) standard. The FVC standard applies newly designed block structure, which is called quadtree plus binary tree (QTBT) to improve the coding efficiency. Also, intra and inter prediction parts were changed to improve the coding performance when comparing to the previous coding standard such as HEVC and H.264/AVC. Experimental results shows that we are able to achieve the average BD-rate reduction of 25.46%, 38.00% and 35.78% for Y, U and V, respectively. In terms of complexity, the FVC takes about 14 times longer than the consumed time of HEVC encoder.

  • Super-critical type steam power plant, which operates with steam pressure above the super-critical point, has a good reputation recently and is adopted as a new standard of the Korean Electric Power Corporation. The reason for the good reputation lies in it's superior power efficiency. However, the field data of the new power plant for the verification of it's performance are still insufficient, and more empirical data are needed to acquire technologies on the effective operation of it. In this study, the authors analyzed the field test data on power efficiencies got in a super-critical type steam power plant, and evaluated the excellency of the new plant by comparing the efficiency data with the one got in a conventional sub-critical type steam power plant.

  • This study is a study on the building integrated method of Photovoltaic. It was analyzed into a basic installation condition and an integrated form in this study. And it was confirmed through the 3D simulation & drawing work of an integrated situation to the real domestic building. The Photovoltaic installation of the country to an optimal efficiency for the year must be installed to the due south with an angle of thirty degrees. And also a module spacing must be more than doubled from the bottom to the top of module to prevent from efficiency falling by a shadow of photovoltaic module in a roof setting of flat roof. If Photovoltaic module is an adequate material that is a basic requirement as a building's finishing material, it's not only an efficiency of alternation with an existing finishing material but also a building's design element.

  • This paper presents how to design speed control of wound rotor induction motors with slip energy recovery. The speed is limited at some range of sub-synchronous speed of the rotating magnetic field. The problem with speed control by adjusting resistance value in the rotor circuit reduces the efficiency of power, because of the slip energy is lost when it passes through the rotor resistance. The control system is designed to maintain efficiency of motor, where it recovers loss energy by returning it to the system to improve the efficiency. A new PI control method of adaptive control [1],[13]is applied for the system with cascade type PI controller on the main loop to keep the speed constant and the internal loop to adjust the rotor appropriated current of the load provides the good transient response without overshoot.

Efficiency Analysis of Buyer-Carts for B2B EC (기업간 전자상거래를 위한 구매자쇼핑카트 효율성 분석)

  • Buyer-carts to support the purchasing process in the B2B EC platform, can be categorized as s-cart, i-cart, and b-cart depending upon its residing sites : seller, intermediary, and buyer sites. In this paper, after proposing the desired features of buyer-carts in B2B EC as identification, collection, trashing, ordering, payment, tracking, recording, purchasing decision support, and transmission of records to e-procurement systems, we try to analyze each buyer-cart qualitatively from such viewpoints. Moreover, we propose an efficiency evaluation model for quantitative analysis. By setting variables from interview of employees in 30 listed companies In Korea, we try to evaluate the efficiency of buyer-carts in B2B EC. From this paper, we show that the b-cart platform is more efficient than other buyer-carts especially in B2B EC.

  • Recently, According to increase of power demand, it was increased a demand that switching power supply have characteristic of low-loss and high-efficiency. So increase of using device, the failure rate increases and service life problem arises. Even though normal circuit protection is applied in designing stage, it is often hard to identify the cause of malfunction in certain cases such as fatigued power supply due to over-running, malfunctions of main elements or over heating. This report will cover experimental results with the prototype we made, that monitors the efficiency of switching power supply and that protects a circuit when it drops below the standard value.

  • Life cycle of the rolling stock is normally 20 to 40 years, though there is some difference in accordance with each vehicle. Maintenance cost is over the twice of purchasing price. and also it is true that precise statics is not managed properly except for some developed countries due to the difference of maintenance method, skills. After KORAIL introduced ERP system in 2007, maintenance cost is managed by type of cars, by unit. but, afterwards it should be controlled as an index and also more precisely. it is the best pending issues to make train maintenance efficiency, to utilize accumulated indexes. I want to attribute to train maintenance efficiency by analysing what is the problems in the present maintenance method.
