The advent of BIM(Building Information Modeling) design process based on the digital media has brought innovation to the production and management of AEC industry. Accordingly the need for educating BIM professionals has been radically increased both in the real world practice and in academia. Some developed countries have already been studying and establishing the optimized curriculum in the academic architecture courses for BIM based education with multi_efforts using the digital media as design processing tools focused on educating architectural professionals with creativity and productivity. However in the domestic education systems, it is hardly found that researches and curriculums deal with the BIM education in the academia. Thus the objective of this paper is to investigate the architectural design pedagogy in the advanced digital media setting in response to the urgent need for BIM education. This study focuses on developing the curriculum based on practical adaptation of BIM programs for architectural education. It aims to provide students with the basic understanding of BIM theory and the practice of BIM tools as an instrument enhancing the creativity for architectural design. Thus this study proposes an BIM curriculum for the students who first encounter the notion and knowledge of BIM during their academic years. And the education result after the application of this curriculum has been analysed through the students questionnaires before and after the lecture.

Environmental education is usually taught across the curriculum in most of the countries. This teaching approach has been a challenge for teachers to implement it especially in the Malaysian curriculum context. Thus, science teachers require effectual Pedagogical Content Knowledge of Environmental Education (PCK-EE). The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of teaching option and teaching experience on science teachers' PCK-EE. Five components of PCK-EE were investigated in this study, which were: a) knowledge of curriculum, b) knowledge of content, c) knowledge of student, d) knowledge of teaching strategies, and e) knowledge of evaluation. 347 secondary science teachers from the state of Selangor have participated in this survey study. The questionnaire used had 60 items. The findings revealed teaching option has a significant influence on science teachers' knowledge of content (p=0.000); knowledge of student (p=0.000) and knowledge of teaching strategies (p=0.016). In the case of teaching experience, it was found that there is a low correlation on knowledge of content (r=0.174) and knowledge of evaluation (r=0.170) only. Implication of this study leads to the suggestion in enhancing teachers' service training to improve their PCK-EE and subsequently their ability in teaching environmental education across curriculum.

Under the WTO system, global standardization of professionalism in architecture practice calls for transformation of curriculum in architectural education in Korea. This paper compares the curriculum standards of international accrediting authorities such as NAAB and RIBA based on UIA accord which defines fundamental knowledge and abilities of an architect. As a result this paper extracts 51 achievement oriented criteria of architectural education in Korea. It can be categorized as communication, design, cultural context(history and theory, human behavior and social aspects), technical systems(structural systems, environmental control systems, construction material and assemblies) and practice(project process, project economics and business management, laws and regulations). Based on this recommended Korean curriculum standards, current curriculum is analyzed focusing on the 5 architectural programs in Seoul. Through this analysis, it became clear that some area - social and economic aspects in architecture, sustainability in architecture, understanding and selection of construction material, assemblies and environmental control system, recycling of existing building, professional liability, professional rules of conduct, project economics and project management - need to be covered and emphasized to meet the international standards in professional education in architecture. The result in this paper will be used as a basic data in the process of finding the direction of restructuring curriculum for professional architectural education in Korea.

The object of the present study was to examine whether it is possible to get appropriate data to examine the accountability and effectiveness of the elementary English curriculum from the present testing system at elementary schools. The present elementary education policy encourages using performance assessment relying mainly on teachers' observation of students' performanceinstead of objective tests of which the results are given in hierarchical number. To obtain objective data from the performance assessment, it is a prerequisite that teachers understand the achievement criteria set by the curriculum and be able to judge' performance objectively based on the same criteria. A questionnaire was used to examine the degree of teachers' understanding of the achievement criteria. A listening test was developed and given to 13 classes of 4th graders. The English teachers of the 13 classes were asked to judge whether each of their students had achieved the curriculum objective. The distributions of the test scores and teachers judgments were compared across the teachers to examine whether the teachers had the same achievement criteria. The survey showed that about a third of elementary school teachers reported that they did not have an understanding of the achievement criteria set by the curriculum. The comparison analysis showed that the levels of achievement criteria varied greatly among the elementary school teachers.

Globalization in the 21st century and development in the field of IT have caused rapid change in the practical site of fashion industry. Therefore, as colleges aim to produce professional technicians and experts in the applicable fields, they are strengthening professionalism and practicality more than ever before that can respond to the practical situation. In addition, owing to the reduction of population of academic students, colleges would search for specialty and structural innovation with the serious desire to establish new structural system to produce talented persons. Purpose of this study is to strengthen competition of colleges voluntarily, specialize themselves and maximize mutual benefit through cooperative relation with industrial businesses. Thus, this study would compare, analyze and investigate the curriculums of fashion designs in colleges for the plan of curriculum applicable for the industrial changes and corresponding business demand. Considering the result of questionnaires of industrial businesses, most of them would prefer the curriculum for 3 years to that for 2 years. Nowadays industrial businesses will require computerization ability much more than ever before besides the professional knowledge and technology in the field of fashion and it is also showed that education of personality in colleges would be considered to be important for the performance of the vocational duty. Especially, specialty and progressive participation in the curriculum would be strengthened during the education process of colleges. This study will be used for the establishment of specialty of colleges and development of curriculum of them.

For the students who specialize in interior design irrespective of their color susceptibility, it is prerequisite to precede a systematic curriculum in the first place on how to put the color theory to practical use. Therefore, this curriculum has its purpose to let the students study on how to put to practical use of their understanding of color as one of the finishing materials for interior design. The 16-weekschool days has been segmented into a theoretical study and practical training, This thesis has summed up the basic instance of the color theory, the first of the three basicpractical courses and presented its results to the students. In due course of this curriculum, the students were recommended to pick up one photo image of their selection out of which they could make out color palette based on their analysis of the photo image, so that they could study on how to apply their color palette to a three dimensional space. Firstly, through this course, they could experience the process for a color image that they had so far sensed subjectively and vaguely to become an objective inevitable result. Secondly, they studied on the process of how a two-dimensionalcolor image could be applied for a three-dimensional space. It is significant of this curriculum in the sense that the students become prepared through this study course with essential knowledge applicable to various interior designs in their future.

In this paper, we propose the way to solve the problems of current college of education at university that they are running a curriculum that is insufficient for immediate application to the school. So, we analyzed the application of capstone design which is proven to be effective in various fields, and constructed a curriculum for the development of educational materials to improve the teacher's qualification in the college of education and applied them to the preliminary informatics teachers. As a result, we confirmed that the development class of educational materials based on capstone design is positive for the change of awareness about informatics teacher's qualification, and also confirmed that the students' satisfaction level about class is higher. Based on the results, we discussed the effects of applying capstone design to the college of education. The conclusions are as follows: First, it helps students to improve the teacher's qualification. Second, it is a curriculum that can fill the shortage of student teaching. Third, the curriculum is an effective curriculum for the recognition of the student who is in charge of evaluation, and the teacher who is in charge of the evaluation. Fourth, Capstone design information textbook study class is a method of greatly improving class satisfaction compared to lecture class.

This study was conducted with analyzing the perceptions of universities and industry regarding need analysis, curriculum design-implementation-outcomes, and the educational environment of the university evaluation institution from an industry perspective. First, as a result of analyzing the importance and implementation level of needs analysis, universities and industries recognized 'industrial trends in related fields' as the most important, but both groups perceived the implementation level to be significantly low. Second, as a result of analyzing the importance of implementing a curriculum based on industry needs, there was a difference in that universities recognized the 'adequacy of curriculum implementation based on industrial needs' and industries recognized the 'field training participation rate' as the most important. Third, as a result of analyzing the importance of curriculum outcomes based on industrial needs, it was found that both groups recognized 'field connection of major curriculum' as the most important. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the importance of the industry-university cooperative educational environment, it was found that both groups recognized 'construction and operation of experimental.practice educational facilities and infrastructure' as the most important. In short, the results of this study are expected to resolve the problem of mismatch between universities and industry in terms of talent development and education, and contribute to the effective implementation of the university evaluation institution from an industry perspective.

Not only the education that follows the school curriculum but also the education that cultivates practical abilities, such as creative experiential activity, is becoming more and more important in the elementary education in order to accept the social demand about the change in the educational environment. Among these movements, 'village-coupled school' has been carried forward as a policy of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education since 2016, and it is operating various programs to establish the educational cooperation system of schools and villages. Particularly, each office of education is publishing the 'village resource sourcebook' and introducing the student experiential programs of public facilities that are located at each region in order to enable the experiencing of experiential activities that utilized educational resources of the region. However, the standard or basis about the composition of the regional experiential learning curriculum is currently missing. Regarding the operation of the regional experiential learning, it seems that the school curriculum and associated facility experience or others would mutually increase the educational synergy effect. This research is a proposal to increase the educational effect of regional experiential learning. In the aspect of the experience at a public facility located in the region, it aims at analyzing the use, characteristic, and others of public facilities that appear in the elementary school textbook and propose the base data of the composition of the experiential activity program related to the curriculum.

Cultures mean communication. With the whole world communicating online simultaneously, international availability has also been required in education. Especially the social media including the YouTube has opened a new age of e-learning, if not intending to do so, and the curriculum of a college or a university has kept up with the needs of our time. This study contains domestic and international professional programs equipped with internalization of a curriculum. It has suggested a role of college of arts as a customized and specialized institution which offers students advanced skills of related international industries through an internationalization of a curriculum of media and arts. It also suggests that full-time faculties need to develop a program to secure an international expertise. It can be concluded that a shift of paradigm towards education industry through social media contributes to needs to secure an international availability of a curriculum.
