  • As software is very important, modern men are interesting software quality testing. In this paper, we analyze the Internation standard and Test data, so, we propose the testing method by analysing testing data. We compare ISO/IEC 9126-2 testing model with ISO/IEC 25023 testing model. On the basis of ISO/IEC 25023, we classify the test data and we analyze the difference of International Standard to functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, compatability, and security. By reality 331 testing data, we classify test data, and analyze difference according to sex. We find regression model by functionality, usability and testing date and we prove difference of testing date and the number of error by tester. Also, we prove difference of the number of error in software type.

  • International Standardization for Vacuum pumps, vacuum instruments, and vacuum components has been established at ISO/TC 112 which is a technical committee of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) in the area of vacuum technology. This report shortly summarizes the structure of ISO/TC 112 and its activities on the standardization for vacuum technology. Also it introduces the brief contents of "specifications for hot cathode ionization gauges" and"Test procedure for vacuum valves" which are recently accepted as new proposals. These information on ISO/TC 112 would contribute to activate the development of vacuum technology as well as the participation for the international standardization in Korea.

  • This paper has theoretically and practically reviewed the ISO (International Standard Organization) 17123-8 standard not only to raise the appropriateness for introducing performance criteria of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) surveying equipment based on RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) accuracy but also to derive its proper test procedure by introducing the international standard. Field experiments have been performed to appreciate the GNSS-RTK accuracy of five selected receivers via the full testing procedure of the ISO standard, which statistically compares the so-called experimental standard deviations with themselves and with the reference accuracy. A series of statistical tests have revealed that the RTK accuracy of the same class receivers is not identical, whereas that of the different classes can be equivalent. Such a result evidences the urgency of adopting an RTK accuracy-based specification of the GNSS equipment to the performance standard, currently referenced to the static observation technique only. It is believed that this transition helps the maximization of a new generation of cost-effective receivers to legal surveying applications. Finally, this study proposes the ISO full test, comparing an experimental standard deviation with its referenced value, for a potential field verification procedure of the new performance standard.

  • In this study, international standards in disaster management and the management of the relevant International Standards Organizations(ISO), in particular ISO / TC 292 (Security- Safety) research subcommittee to look at international standards of relevant international standards for disaster management trends, each international domestic law related to the standard were researched. National Disaster Management Authority as a Ministry of Public Safety and Security (formerly the National Emergency Management Agency) has continued to prepare a plan for applying national disaster management relevant to the international standards. As the disaster management international standard continues to be established, disaster management agencies need to continue to keep pace with the international community to find ways to introduce international standards.

  • As considerable interests in noise emission from the ships have been increased, International Maritime Organization (IMO) standardized the Underwater Radiated Noise (URN) measurement process of commercial ships in deep seas by enacting the related ISO standard ISO 17208-1 and classification societies responded with the enactment or revision of corresponding notations. According to this trend, a new hybrid underwater sound propagation model based on underwater sound propagation theories was developed and its accuracy on analysis was verified through the result comparison with the results of other generally used models. Using the verified model, each URN propagation characteristics adjusted by the correction methods proposed in the ISO standard and class notations were analyzed and compared in two assumed URN measurement cases. The results showed that the effects of transmission loss corrections in the circumstances with less bottom reflections generally similar but they had rather large differences in the model analysis results with bottom-reflection-dominant conditions. It was concluded that the deep consideration of effective bottom-reflection-correction method should be made in future revisions of ISO standard and class notations.

  • Our study researched on unification of KS I ISO standard harmonized with ISO and Official Test Method enacted by Korean Ministry of Environment-drinking water and indoor air quality. We reviewed KS methods related to drinking water and indoor air quality for about 23,000 KS methods. KS methods related environmental field are classified as KS I, total 635 methods and 583 KS I methods were harmonized with ISO. For Environmental Standard methods for drinking water, 100 methods were reviewed according to 232 KS methods related to ISO/ TC 147 "Water Quality". Environmental Standard methods for indoor air quality were reviewed according to 95 KS standard methods related to ISO/TC 146 "Air Quality". By reviews and comparison tests for unifiable ES for drinking water and indoor air quality with KS methods harmonized with ISO, it was evaluated that for 100 ES methods for drinking water, 23 ES methods were unification complete, 29 ES methods were unification possible, 12 ES methods were unification impossible, no corresponding methods were found in KS I ISO for 36 ES methods and for 17 ES methods for indoor air quality,1 ES methods were unification complete, 3 ES methods were unification possible, 3 ES methods were impossible, no corresponding methods were found in KS I ISO for 10 ES methods.

  • In South Korea the records management system nationwide has been developed based on 'the Act on public agencies' records management' which was first enacted in 1999. Furthermore, 'the Act on public records management 2006' has shifted a paradigm of records management to the digital records world. In this context, the records management standard, KS X ISO 15489 has a profound significance. Based on the principle of that there should not be any conflict between nationwide records management laws and standard, this study explores a meaning of the standard and discusses contradictive elements between the laws and standard. On the basis of the main contents of the standard's five categories, the study analyzes the laws in comparison with the standard. As a result, the study provides remedies for the current records management law and discusses a prospect of records management strategies in the 21st Century.

  • This study suggests the use of standardized sewing terms for the construction of smart sewing systems. This study analyzed the use of stitches (ISO 4915) and seams (ISO 4916) for cut and sewn knit garment which are the basic elements of sewing on an ISO basis. The results of the analysis of sewing specifications of cut and sewn knit garments are as follows. First, the use of stitches and seams were analyzed. As a result, both stitches and seams were used as non-standard terms. Second, among 3,263 stitches, ISO 4915 No. 406 followed by 401, 504, 605 were the most frequently used; however, ISO 4915 No. 514 was anticipated the most because the ISO 4915 No. 514 used for joining was not recorded in the sewing specification. Finally, the use of stitch for each seam was analyzed. The most common stitch used for ISO 4916 No. 6.02.07 was ISO 4915 No. 406. In addition, when it was sewing ISO 4916 No. 4.04.01, ISO 4915 No. 504 was used in step 1, and ISO 4915 No. 406, 602, and 605 were used in step 2. It is important to use the international standard sewing terms for the production site based on the results. In addition, the construction of smart sewing systems and the work of international standardization through industry-university cooperation are important for securing global competitiveness. Therefore, the use of international standard terminology and practical training should be conducted with a focus on stitching and seams with high frequency of use.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the 7 principles of ISO 30300 and the requirements of ISO 30301 to provide the conceptual frame of MSR for various organizations providing a comprehensive understanding of the standard series. To achieve the aim of this study, we analyzed the relationship between 'ISO/FDIS 30300 MSR-Fundamentals and Vocabulary' and 'ISO/FDIS 30301 MSR- Requirements' using the Matrix Diagram approach. The results show that there exist some level of relationships between principles and requirement either directly or indirectly, however, 'Process approach' principle seems the closest relationship among them.
